      I just cancelled my free trial so I can't say whether or not I have been billed yet, but I'm ready for it. I just have to say that CLEAR as a whole truly feels like a scam and I do not understand how they haven't been shut down yet. It makes absolutely no sense to me. We just traveled for my grandma's birthday, and my parents have TSA Pre. My almost 7yo daughter and I do not, and it was late... I didn't want to have to go through the whole hassle of taking my shoes off, taking ALL of our electronics- there are a lot- and batteries. She had a jacket on... I was just like, you know what? I don't care how much it costs for me to just walk through security easily. Because that's what I thought was going to happen!!! I walked up, asked the price- $189. More than I wanted to spend but my daughter was free and I could add my husband (who wasn't with us) for $60. So I figured that's about 3 TSA Pre-Check costs, and after they said I can cancel before 2 weeks, I said sure. I went through the whole process... all while my parents were just sitting on the other side of security waiting for us... as we watched literally NO ONE walk through the regular security line (it was EMPTY at the airport). I got all finished up, and the kind woman (I will say they're very nice and they do seem to want to help people) walked me up to security and told him I was "clear." He sent me to a line and I started loading my stuff up onto the belt when the security guy stopped me and asked about electronics and shoes and stuff. I said "Oh! I'm a CLEAR member." and he said "that's only to get you to security... you still have to do everything else." Excuse me?? $189 TO WALK ME TO SECURITY??? Just so I wouldn't have to go through the apparent DRAMATIC hassle of getting my ID out? Are you KIDDING ME?
      This is NOT a service. It's a SCAM. It costs more than TSA-Pre for absolutely NOTHING. If you're constantly at airports with hour long security queues... i dunno, maybe? But since when has that happened?

      Exactly what all the people say here. It is impossible to cancel. They say theyre not going to charge you and then 189 dollars comes out of your account. Not only that when you try to cancel, it says theyre reviewing your case, and will get back to you. I want my money back Clear. They also have all my bio data which is very unnerving. Some airports took it others didnt. It is a scam, beware.

      I was charged $189 for a subscription to ClearMe when I thought I was only getting a free trial. I would really like to cancel my subscription and get a refund.

      Clear is illegally scamming people. I was ******* in the airport and pulled aside by a Clear agent (his name is ***** at ***). He said I looked stressed and wanted to help you today. He said he could give me a one time courtesy to do Clear to see what it was like and to get me through...even made a joke about ***** saving me today. He asked for my ID, I said ok - as that made sense. He asked for my fingerprint - I assumed that was also to confirm identification. Then he asked for my credit card, and I asked why he would need my credit card. I told him never mind, I don't want to be charged now or later. He assured me this was just another level of identification. He said I will not be charged, but will receive a notification about signing up for Clear later.He intentionally lied. A few days ago, I received two attempts on my credit card for $189. What kind of scam is this? The charge did not even go through - thank God. I am sharing this because they need to be reported and other unsuspecting travelers need to be warned.When I called to address it, the agent said - "well ma'am your charge did not even go through". I asked why this practice was happening, and she just repeated her previous statement.No accountability and no admittance of the scheme.

      My friends and I were flying back through LGA today. We're *** ***, not Clear.
      One of the employees was very aggressive and, after we all told him multiple times that we weren't interested, he continued to try and sell us on the product and argue with us.

      Not impressed at all. I was given a discounted rate because of my job yet when I linked my ****** account online they automatically billed me an additional $10 since those with a ****** credit card pay $109 while I was charged $99. Since CLEAR is not at every airport and it’s very pricey ($189/year) I would not recommend. Also if you have very early flights the CLEAR employees can’t be bothered to show up on time so you pay for nothing. I end up going through *** ********* since I have that too.

      Clear assured me that I was getting a two week trial of the service that in no uncertain terms would I owe any money for the trial. I said I would not be purchasing beyond the free trial and wanted nothing to do with reoccurring charges to my credit card nor were they authorized to charge or keep my credit card information period. I just looked at my account and a $189. charge is pending from this scam of a company. I called my bank immediately to stop it from posting and I will be disputing any charge if it does clear. This is illegal.

      This business completely lied and stole $189 from me I did not authorize no purchase and was practically dragged to this clear line and the worker specifically stated I would not be charged for anything it is completely free and faster than tsa pre check and I am just now getting charged from two weeks ago this is unbelievable and a SCAM I specifically asked why I needed to put my card if it was free and the worker just said so that we were authenticated this is unacceptable I am military and should not have to deal with getting this much charged from my account I will be getting my finance involved on this matter
