They actually offered me a 50% refund on my subscription which i had forgotten to cancel, then I got an email that my ticket had expired. i got no response to my multiple emails trying to get at least a partial refund. I get the feeling they are sadists. Their customer service is like that Southpark cable company episode: Woops, you got ripped off with an expensive subscription and now youre getting the run-around trying to resolve your issue? Ohhh nooo, were soooo sorry!

I also tried to cancel my membership with skillshare the day I was charged for an annual membership. The charge was still pending on my account, but they told me that I wasn't eligible for a refund. I do agree with everyone else here saying that this business is using deceptive practices. If you were recommended Skillshare through a content creator, please leave a comment to warn other people who might be scammed by this company.

Skillshare keeps charging me for an annual membership after I cancelled my account. This is the third time it's happened, and I'm beginning to think it is intentional. The first time I thought it was a mistake, then it happened again two years in a row, after I cancelled. Their services are OK but they do not let you cancel your membership and stay cancelled.

WOw... I'm not alone here. I'm asking for a full 2 Year refund! I canceled with a skillshare representative during a chat! Yeah! TO MY SURPRISE, I was charged full price for another year!I been chatting with was real helpful people at Skillshare, so I thought, until I receive this generic "Hi there" Skillshare reply offering a 50 % refund for the last Charge and telling me that if I don't cancel Im to expect to be charged full prince again. I just cancelled agin!!! There is a real big disconnect in the way there service chat people tell me things work and how they really do business. On top there is NO evidence that I ever used their service and received shared skills! I did sign up for a complementary free introduction and I the moment I looked at it I knew I was not going to use it! So that moment, last year, I took care of it and asked for help to cancel with the help of their service raps just like I did this week!! Evidently they don't cancel anything or let me believe that I canceled just like a few days a go! I was charged $165.00 2x although canceled! They owe me $330.00.

Somehow I subscribed to Skillshare through a very old email account. I did not know I was subscribed and did not use Skillshare at all. I asked for a refund for the $150.00 I paid because I did not use this app. They have refused a refund, despite the fact that when I emailed them asking for my refund, I did not even know what email my Skillshare was attached to. I feel extremely ripped off by this company.

I signed up for a free 30 day trial but two days before I was to be billed I was unable to cancel my membership because of website errors. When clicking on account settings either I'd get no response or I'd get that dreaded 404 error. This went on for two days and I tried two different web browsers. I was billed $29 and then all of a sudden I was able to cancel my membership with no problem (rather suspicious if you ask me). I contacted customer support and politely requested a refund but I was given some BS about how they can't refund me because I had a free trial that lasted more than 14 days. For three days now I've gone back and forth with customer service explaining that their website did not allow me to cancel and had it worked properly I would've been able to cancel and not get billed. They're completely ignoring the issue here.Seems I'm not the only person that's had an issue with the site that didn't allow them to cancel

Skillshare has been charging my account $99 each year for three years. This year, I finally caught it the day I received a text from my bank. It was January 2nd, ****. So, I canceled the subscription and email their support to issue a refund, before the amount cleared my account. I finally got a reply two days later, telling me they dont issue refunds on automatic renewals. I enlisted ****** to help, but they took Skillshares side and adjudicated the matter against me. This is unfair, and skillshares refund policy amounts to fraud. I do not want their low quality vids. I emailed them the minute, I received the actual renewal text on my phone. I havent logged in my Skillshare account for at least over a year. I should be able to get my refund back. In **********, we have the right to return an item and get our money back, provided this takes place within a reasonable time from the time of purchase. I contacted them on the same day. This was reasonable time. I also never login to take advantage of my access to their low quality videos. I am not even asking for refund of the other two years, they surreptitiously charged my account for membership that *** never used. Caveat emptor, buyer beware. Skillshare is not here to serve its customers, but to steal your hard earned money that they havent even earned. Now I have access to the useless classes on skillshare, which I never wanted to and am $99 short and very unhappy. If this review helps just one more person, Id know that Id be more than happy to forget about this rancid experience. Again, caveat emptor!

I signed up for a 1-year access as a gift to my dad. Unfortunately, Skillshare illegally decided to auto-renew the gift, which I didn't notice in 2022, but did see in December 2023. When I emailed to inquire, I was advised I suddenly had an account (though never signed up for one) and that it was set for auto-renew; which I also NEVER signed up for. I've been emailing with a different resource daily from Skillshare and continue to get the run-around. They also advise they're such a small operation that they don't have phones (tell me what company in **** doesn't have a **** phone number!).From reading other reviews, it is obvious Skillshare is out to lie, steal, and cheat anyone they can. STAY AWAY from this company!!!!!!!

I signed up for a trial membership and after the trial I was charged $165. That was ok, but then approximately 3 weeks later Skillshare took an additional $165. out of my account. I emailed them to let them know to refund the second charge that they took from my account. They had the audacity, to tell me that they do not refund cancellations after 14 days. I emailed back and let them know I am not trying to cancel my subscription; I merely want my money back that was taken from my account a 2nd time without my authorization. I cannot believe Skillshare would steal money from a customer and then keep the money in bad faith. This is unacceptable shame on you Skillshare. I will be letting others know about your poor business practices and to beware of signing up for classes with you! Do not sign up with Skillshare, they are the devil in disguise. Thanks for your professionalism!

Twice they renewed me without my consent. Then they made it difficult to prove I cancelled because it was on their website.
