    Hello, My name is ********* and I am a seller on depop. Today 08/18/2025 my account was suspended for suspicion of selling counterfeit items. However, this is false and Depop refuses to help me or even answers my emails. I had around $850 pending on my depop balance that I was going to get paid out soon for orders I had already recently shipped out. They refuse to give me my money back and help me in any way. Its truly disgusting what they are doing and how they will not give me the money that was already pending and waiting to hit my bank account. I understand if they dont want to take back the suspension but atleast give me my money back that I earned myself. I lost so much money and invested so much money that I have lost because of this issue and if they continue to not do anything I will seek legal action and get my hard earned money back.     On April 29th of 2025, I was falsely banned by Depop's AI moderation. I was insulted in a communication with a seller, and while their account remained open, I was flagged. I reached out, and Depop refused to elaborate on what flagged me for the ban and refused to let me appeal. After further attempts, the moderation team stopped responding to any emails altogether.     I was a valued seller on Depop before this interaction. I had perfect 5 star reviews and never had an issue regarding the condition of my product. I had a buyer purchase a pair of shoes. The buyer reached out and said they did not receive their item. Having never had this problem, I went to the **** website to check the status. The status read delivered. I informed the buyer who then did not respond. I had a feeling the buyer was attempting to keep the shoes and their money as well. The next day they responded saying they in fact did receive the shoes, but they still wanted a refund. I asked what was wrong with the shoes in order to consider a refund when they said they just didnt want them anymore. I told them they would have to reach out to Depop directly. Depop then reached out to me and informed me the seller was returning the shoes due to damage that was not photographed and that the buyer would then receive a refund when I received them. When I received the shoes it was clear to me the buyer had damaged the shoes further in order to return the shoes by claiming they were not as advertised. I reached out to the company who said they sided with the buyer even though I have photos showing the condition of the shoes prior showing the vast difference in damage. Now I have an unsellable pair of shoes and the company, who only has customer service thru email, is not responding. This company does not protect their sellers and by doing so, is allowing people to scam innocent sellers out of their merchandise.

    Purchased a sweater on 8/10 for $27.31. Had no problem checking out, I did not have an account and had never used the site before so it asked me email and I believe it may have made an account for me since I never logged in, created a password ect. Received my order email with a link to the purchase on Depop I was using to check on the shipping status of my purchase. I'd just click and it would open depop and show me the order.I paid with a **** card and the money has processed and been taken out of my account so, I went to see if it had been shipped yet and the link sent me to a log in page stating I needed to log in to see the details. Inputting my email says my account was banned for violating community standards. I thought this must be a mistake, but of course it's next to impossible to get a hold of someone. I wrote an email asking about my purchase and account and received an email that they stand by their ban and need to protect their community. I'd like to know why the second they got their money, I got banned, and therefore locked out of any way to check on my order, send a message, dispute anything, ask for a refund, ect. When asked if I even still had an order they sent a link telling me I could check on it "here" yet the link requires you log into your account- which they know I don't have now. At this point I want my money back and will never make this mistake again. I am a first time NEW customer. I have never before bought, sold, messaged, or done anything before so I am SO confused and left feeling scammed right now.

    My account was suspended. I did nothing wrong. Furthermore, I never received an email or warning. I'm requesting my entire account be restored along with all of my listings, sales, messages, reviews, purchase history, likes, etc.

    I am filing this complaint against Depop due to the unjust suspension of my account, withholding of funds, and complete lack of opportunity to present my side of the situation.I recently sold the following items through Depop to different buyers:***** handbag $183.02 ***** ****** handbag $336.87 Glossier item $39.86 House of CB dress $81.53 (pending shipment due to missing shipping label)The total value of these transactions is $641.28.Because I had previously been scammed by a Depop seller (username: *******), I took extra precautions during my recent sales. I have unedited video footage of myself packaging each item, **** drop-off receipts, and photos showing the packages at the post office, including behind the counter at **** (****** location), taken on Thursday, July 31, 2025, at 4:46 PM.However, the buyer of the ***** handbag (username: **** falsely claimed that the package she received was empty and that the box differed from my description. I immediately requested evidence from her to support her claim but received no response. I reported her account to ********************** for suspicious *********** my surprise, Depop suspended my account without warning or giving me any opportunity to provide my evidence. The suspension appears to be solely based on Lexs claim, which is unfounded and unverified. I am now unable to access my funds or communicate with the buyer of the House of CB dress to resolve the shipping label issue.I am appalled by Depop's decision to side with a potentially fraudulent buyer without due process or proper investigation. Depop has:Ignored my requests to present evidence Locked me out of over $640 in sales Prevented me from completing a legitimate transaction Shown bias toward a buyer who refuses to communicate If this matter is not resolved promptlyby reinstating my account, releasing my funds, and allowing me to fulfill the remaining shipmentI will be forced to consider legal action. I have ample documented proof.

    My partner bought me an anniversary gift off of Depop - A Sea Salt Coconut Labubu on 8.1.25. The seller said it was authentic! I reached out to Depop immediately because the apartment number was left off of the order. My apartment manager said it would be okay to have it delivered to the office and it arrived as expected! I mentioned in the email about the apartment number that the seller had listed their location as ********** when the item was coming from ********. Which was already a big red flag. Depop did not address these concerns in my initial interaction with them at all. I had to bring it up again at another time.Once it was confirmed that the item I bought was counterfeit, the seller requested it back under a completely different name. Depop offered a refund only if I sent the counterfeit item back to the seller. Im not sure how lying about who you are, where youre shipping from, and the items legitimacy is within Depops guidelines. Depop is contributing to the ever-growing problem of counterfeit sales by allowing those merchants their items back. They usually end up relisted under another account - stolen or otherwise. I will most likely never be using their service again. Im seriously disappointed in this company. It feels like they only care about making revenue off of sales and boosted items. You would think with the recent press release about fake Labubus they would have bigger consequences for sellers knowingly lying about their products. Do better, Depop.

    My account was banned on ********************** for using a stock photo that I was not aware I couldn't use. I have bought/sold over a hundred items on the platform over almost a decade I have an 5 star rating. I received no warning for my listing violating the rules, or I would have deleted it. My number one issue, however, is the fact that I had sold an item right before the ban. My payment was due to be deposited into my account the day before they banned me. I was told that even though my account wouldn't be reinstated, I would receive my payment as normal. This was not true. All of this feels very suspicious and fraudulent to me. I feel betrayed by a platform I have been incredibly loyal to for years. I even recommended it to countless people who have since bought from the platform. Now they have stolen money from me, banned me, and refuse to communicate with me further.

    I am a small individual seller on Depop, and the platform has failed to protect me from a buyer abusing the dispute system, allowing repeated false claims that amount to harassment and attempted fraud.Details:I sold Lululemon pants for $20 (I received only $18 after Depop fees).My listing clearly stated pants only in both the title and description, and all my own photos showed pants only.The model photo was for styling purposes only; the blazer/jacket was never part of the sale.The buyer repeatedly opened false disputes, claiming a missing blazer and attempting to obtain a full refund while keeping the pants, which is blatant abuse of Depops dispute system.Depop initially closed the first case in my favor, confirming that I fulfilled my responsibilities, but the buyer was allowed to open another identical case, causing repeated harassment.Impact:This situation has caused financial loss, wasted time, and emotional distress for me as a small second-hand seller.Depops failure to enforce fair policies and prevent repeated false claims encourages fraudulent behavior and undermines trust in the platform.Requested Resolution:1.Permanently close this dispute and confirm I am not responsible for items that were never listed or sold.2.Document the buyers repeated abuse to protect me and other sellers from future harassment.3.Strengthen seller protection measures for individual second-hand sellers, as current handling leaves small sellers extremely vulnerable.If Depop does not handle this matter fairly, I am prepared to escalate this complaint to additional consumer protection channels, as this pattern of allowing repeated false claims causes material harm to honest sellers.

    Hey, I need legal help regarding an issue with the app Depop. My account was suspended weeks ago, and they never gave me a chance to defend myself against any claims or disputes.While suspended, I was still owed a $700 payout from my sales. Not only did they refuse to release the funds, but recently they withdrew $10 from my connected bank account, putting my account into the negatives despite me not even having access to the platform anymore.Theyre holding my money, making unauthorized withdrawals, and ignoring my attempts to resolve the situation. I want to know what my legal options are to recover my $700, prevent further charges, and get my account and banking info permanently deleted.Let me know what steps I should take.
