    On 8/22/2025 purchased a pair of black and white ****** 5 sneakers for $170.56, which were delivered on 8/30/2025.The Seller sent me a completely different pair of shoes (Red Nikes) which were extremely worn, dirty with no shoes laces.The Seller deliberately removed his return shipping on the shipping label as to disguise where the package originated. I reached out to the seller directly but the seller has been avoiding the idea of sending the correct item purchased or providing a full refund of the purchase price. I contacted Depop regarding the issues. Because I had a previous incident similar to this issue where a seller sent me the incorrect item, DEPOP is refusing to refund the cost of the item or ensure a replacement which the correct item. I have pictures attached to support the item that the seller fraudulently advertised versus the actual item received. DEPOP relies on the integrity of the seller, which is this case the seller was very deceitful. After paying $170.56, DEPOP has ignored my dispute and took no action to have the purchased price returned or the correct item sent. Please see the photos below. The item ordered is the black ****** 5. The red shoe is what the seller sent. This was no mistake. The seller advertised a gently used black ****** 5 and once the money was received, the seller sent a shoe that is not even wearable. Please assist with resolving.

    I posted a listing to sell my ********* ********* heels. This listing included information about my shoes including the size which was also listed on the box in the photograph of my listing, which was size 38. I customer on the platform purchased my shoes on Aug 19 and they were shipped on August 20.) I promptly shipped the shoes to the customer. I was never informed by the customer or ********************** that the customer wanted a refund. Based off what I can see the customer requested a refund with ********************** then escalated it to get a refund without informing me or anything. I was not notified about the escalation until today and Depop informed me that they were refunding her the money from my account and letting her keep the shoes which is BEYOND UNACCEPTABLE THESE SHOWS RETAIL FOR 900! NO ONE INFORMED ME OF ANYTHING.

    I downloaded the depop app about a month ago. I was having good sales. I already had 13 reviews all giving me a five star rating Depo for no reason and giving no explanation canceled my account when they cancel your account you no longer have access to the app I had money still left in my account which they deposit into your bank account. They did not pay me the balance that was owed to me on my account. I have sent numerous emails and have gotten no reply as far as to when they will be paying me. I am not the only person that has happened to Depo is scamming people and stealing money from hundreds of people. The day that they canceled my account I had shipped out three orders.

    Complaint Against:Depop, Inc.Nature of Complaint:Unfair seller protection practices / financial loss despite meeting Depop Protection criteria.Details of the Complaint:I am a seller on Depop, account @**************. On Aug 3, 2025, I sold a Lululemon Quick-Dry Short SheEVE Polo Shirt (Size 4, Windmill Blue, New with Tag) to ******** ******** (@samanthaniicole). I shipped using a Depop-issued **** label, tracking **************************.Tracking shows:Aug 14: Marked Addressee Unknown in ******, ** ? return to sender.Aug 1518: Processed through ******, then ** distribution facilities.Aug 20: **** initiated a Missing Mail Search (ID: MRC ******************* Aug 18, no further updates; **** has not resolved the case.Despite this, Depop debited my account on Aug 22, 2025 to refund the buyer. I now have no item and no payment.     I am a seller on Depop and I have recently had an issue. Someone bought an item from me on July 16th and tried to return it. Depop told me they had until August 3rd to ship it and they didn't so Depop closed the case. I later received an email from Depop that my item has been returned on August 19th. I had later found that they let them return after they closed the case and I had no idea. I check the link they sent me and the link says it was delivered August 5th and I never recieved the package. They gave them a refund and I don't have the package and I am also -$342.78 in my Depop balance. I have contacted them multiple times and they have not said anything or helped me at all. They keep trying to take $342.78 from me even though I don't have the package and the person should have never been refunded because the case is closed

    At this time, I have been contacted directly by Depop Inc. regarding complaint ID ********, however my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

    They said there is nothing they can do and told me to contact *** and I dont have my money or the product that they said they were going to send back, so I am left without a refund or a product. They are also now unresponsive because they said they werent going to talk to me about this anymore. My issue is still not resolved

    August 8th 2025 I sold a shirt through depops website that I bought months prior from a legitimate company called tshirtslayer. The shirt was sold by me and then received August 18 by the new buyer who then gave me a 5 star review on August 19 but buyer sent a complaint claiming item they received was counterfeit. On August 20th Depop emailed me claiming they are reviewing the case and will contact me shortly at 4:28 PST. At 4:51 they closed the case not notifying me about submitting my evidence and returned the buyers funds. During August 20th i received harassment messages through depops website. After depop unfairly closed the case without letting me submit my proof I sent them all the evidence I had that the shirt was indeed not counterfeit they respond with work it out with the buyer not upholding their policy on seller protection. The shirt was then received by the buyer and my funds were returned to buyer giving me an unfair case without any process or allowing me to show them the proof they had said they will contact me for. The band was multiple color ways of the shirt I purchased a yellow one and sold it through depop

    I bought a bag that was beinga dvertised as authentic! I sent it in for online authentication with verified business and it came back fake from all! Now depop is telling me that I cant get my refund and seller is being in compliant talking about I should just wear it as a fake and its a really good fake . Thats false advertising, seller promoted authentic item

    We listed an item for sale on our Depop account, it was the first time we had tried to sell somthing so we needed to set up a transfer or payment account. We had one offer from a Depop buyer and then that buyer emailed us directly (which I thought was a breach of security), we fell into the scam of then clicking on a link from "Depop??Sales-Team" to complete the sale and set up the account. A chat box opened asking for the details of our debit card to set up the transaction and to confirm some small transfer numbers, the numbers got bigger, which i pushed back on, then i confirmed a transfer (which they then posted twice). They then asked for my *** to refund the amount, i refused to give them that, and then the chat went dead. I should have realized sooner that this was not ok, but Depop also asks for sensitive payment information and i did believe I was inside their system. Either way, the outside Scam came from our posting on the Depop website. I have included the chats from the incident and emails, and also the emails i sent to depop requesting help and clarification. I have tried to close my account because they did confirm there was suspiscious activity on it, but I got an email rejecting my request to close my account. ********************** never responded to the Scam incident. I lost $600 through MoonpayPhantom (screen shot included). I spent hours on the phone with my bank, securing my accounts and filing a dispute claim. It looks like my bank did refund $300 from the claim, but only one of the transactions (included in the bank account screenshot).

    Hello, My name is ********* and I am a seller on depop. Today 08/18/2025 my account was suspended for suspicion of selling counterfeit items. However, this is false and Depop refuses to help me or even answers my emails. I had around $850 pending on my depop balance that I was going to get paid out soon for orders I had already recently shipped out. They refuse to give me my money back and help me in any way. Its truly disgusting what they are doing and how they will not give me the money that was already pending and waiting to hit my bank account. I understand if they dont want to take back the suspension but atleast give me my money back that I earned myself. I lost so much money and invested so much money that I have lost because of this issue and if they continue to not do anything I will seek legal action and get my hard earned money back.     On April 29th of 2025, I was falsely banned by Depop's AI moderation. I was insulted in a communication with a seller, and while their account remained open, I was flagged. I reached out, and Depop refused to elaborate on what flagged me for the ban and refused to let me appeal. After further attempts, the moderation team stopped responding to any emails altogether. If needed, my username for the account was @choccermilk
