I support free-speech and value sites like rate myprofessor.com. Most sites like this however, make at least some effort to ensure that those rating are validly connected to the entities they are rating. However, I and many other professors in my cohort, have noticed that RMP flagrantly eschews any such prudentcy. Indeed, many recent cases have required this. It is a reasonable assumption that those writing professors should at least list a course that is being taught by those professors. However, in many instances - this is not the case. I have (as have others) noted instances wherein courses are listed that are not taught by me. I have flagged these cases in order to give RMP a fair chance of reviewing them. Each time, RMP has chosen to ignore my concerns and to keep these ratings (for courses I do not teach) up on their site. This provides the basis for litigation.

I registered under my own name in Feb. 2022 for a ratemyprofessors account so that I can respond to reviews and post other details about my classes. I registered for an account in February 2022 and never heard back, I am now attempting to retrieve my account by changing password, and now locked out of the site from my browser. I am providing screenshots from only two communications in my email inbox on this topic, I have never recieved an actual in-person communication from ********

On Rate My Professor, a student wrote a false claim on September 22, 2022. The ************************ is an institution in which its instructors are volunteers. The courses are already built. The volunteer instructor does not design the course. ****************** designs the course. The courses in the business program do not ask to write a 500-word essay nor do they use MLA. Students know all assignments and have access via the Learning Guide. The negative review given is totally false and violates Rate My Professor *********** ******************************************************
