    Don't use this bank for your primary debit card. I've been a customer for ~2 years, and it's generally been a frustration. I'm not kidding when I say I've had over a hundred transcriptions declined with no explanation or obvious reason. One Finance outsources customer service to a company in *************** who strictly follow a script and will not provide you any answers if your question happens to not be addressed in their script.

    Horrible service and experience. I purchase a prepaid card with One Finance through ******** Everything was working fine until they told me I could upgrade my prepaid debit card, so I did. I never received the card so I requested another card finally received it and activated the card through the One app. I wasn't able to use the card. I had money left on my account and I wanted to make purchases but the card was being declined everywhere I went. So I went through the app and chat with their customer service they told me they would get the situation handled and I would hear something in 6 business days... I waited never heard from anybody but continue to receive emails by them on promotions and surveys on my experience. I finally reached out to them again and they told me the same thing they couldn't do anything and they will escalate my account so it could be handled..they told me it would *********** business days. I waited again never heard anything but continue to receive promotions and a survery, finally I called customer service waited for a while to get someone on the phone..finally spoke to someone to tell me the same thing they will escalate the issue it will *********** business days I told them I already been waiting for over a month at this point and nobody reaches out to me.. they told me it was nothing they could do on their end and this was the only option I have. I waited and waited and waited..I finally chat agian to check on the status they tell me the same thing..they will escalate this issue my account is under review. At this point I'm thinking this doesn't sound right nobody is reaching out to me and they are taking $5 fee out of my account every month so my money is being subtracted as I'm waiting to hear from someone. I tried taking my money out, transfer it out all the options they offer on the App..but they block the transactions and I can't get my money out. Very frustrated at this point and want my money out ASAP. Horrible service.

    I applied for a loan online and One Fiance said I got the loan and they are with the BBB. They put over $900 in my account and I was to go to ******* and send it back then they would put all my loan into my account. They said I could keep $50 for the cab, I only took $40 but had to get a candy bar to get cash back. ******* said it was a scam and they wouldn't do it. I am grateful for them. I came home and after writing a complaint to the *** and leaving a message with the *** I called them back and said I want you to email me that the contract is void and I would mail the money back in a money order. After much yelling on his side, saying he's got all my information, he needed the money right away, etc then he said he trust me and I can mail him the money order. I later called him back and said for his sake and mine, I called my lawyer and he has to stamp the word cancelled on my contract. The contract didn't have a loan number on it. I said I trusted him to not commit identity theft because the *** has his information. The "bank" they deal with, ********************** is not even a bank. I ought to have checked it out more but they are with the BBB, they just had a lot of complaints, but I had a death in the family and am not on top of the situation. My bank is closed but I could call and talk to someone. They made it so my account can only take deposits unless I am there in person and Monday I will get a new account. I don't need this extra stress, I thought I was being blessed but I just ended up with a mess. It may end up in litigation but I don't have time or energy for this.

    Can I leave zero stars?To date, I have received six debit cards from ONE Finance without ever having opened an account. I had never heard of them until I received the first debit card. When I called them to report the suspected fraud they refused to help me unless I provided them with personally identifiable information (my date of birth and the last four-digits of my Social Security Number). I offered to provide the debit card number, from which they should be able to identify the account, but without the sensitive information they wanted they would do nothing to help. The representative, in fact, hung up on me.If they are not knowingly committing fraud, they are abetting it. I have contacted both the *********************************** as well as the FDIC.It is funny, to me, that they are located in a building that backs to Improv Alley: they are certainly making it up as they go.

    Horrible experience! I had gotten a debit card from them, because I work for spark and they deposit my earnings on there. Not even two months after receiving the debit card, someone stole money out of my account.. at an ATM, out of state.. WHILE I had the debit card in my possession still. I called about the issue and out a dispute in. A rep told me I should get a credit for what was stolen in 10 bus days even while investigation was going on. 10 bus later, no credit and no update. So I call. They tell me my dispute was denied. I told them I never received an update and requested the reasonings. They email me basically saying they didnt see any flags for fraud. Im already baffled and irritated.. 3 days later, they close my account without notice and while I still have money in my account. Now Im way more behind in bills and they are refusing to tell me the reasoning of why my account was closed. If you work for Spark, STICK WITH BRANCH DO NOT USE ONE!

    I had one for 3 years before they were bought out by Walmart.That's where the problems starts.Then, I get a message from ONE stating my account was compromised and they locked it.I followed directions and got it unlocked.. They mailed me a new card (hasn't arrived).Then 2 days later they email me saying they're closing my account with no notice Now I can't pay my light bill or get food for myself or my disabled wife.No one will answer me. And they told me to wait 2 weeks for my money.NEVER USE ONE.ILL BE MAKING A POLICE REPORT AND POSTING THIS ALL OVER SOCIAL MEDIA.

    I never meant to open these accounts and it was done so without proper consent. In the process of withdrawing money from a ******* employee account, somehow with the click of ONE button both a checking and savings account were created. No information was verified with me and no disclosures were provided to me due to the misstep in information verification, the address on file is a previous address and therefore, I never received the debit card either.

    On September 4th, 2023 I tried to make a purchase online with ******** My transaction was declined. I tried it again and it declined a second time. I then received an email from One that stated Due to unusual activity, your ONE account has been restricted. During this time you will not be able to process any withdrawals, or purchases. I called One and the representative told me that it will it be unlocked in 4 business days. After the 4th day I called back to One and they said oh its the wknd so Monday youll have access. Its now Monday and day 8 and still no access to my money. I have called numerous of times and no resolution has been made. All the agents say is the department that handles that is looking into getting it unlocked. This company is holding people money and nothing is being done. At this point I am getting a lawyer and calling the news to expose how they handle customers accounts.
