Started the program on March of 2023 making deposits, i was told its going to take a around 6 months to negotiated debt, and a small fee under 20% will be added , after 1 year i didnt see anything happening, my creditors report my account delinquents, they started to paid some creditors small amount $5 to $126 but the paid themselves more than the 20%, actually aroung 70% all my savings account were paid to them, in amounts of thousand dollars, in the last 2 years i make deposits for over $10,000 less than 25% goes to paid creditors and they keep paid themselves fees i was never told. plus they request a credit loan on my behalf that i didn't authorize to consolidate all my payments.

Understand that money paid to creditor are nonrefundable, but payments made to the national  debt relief even before provide  services are, national debt relief paid themselves big chunks of money of fees  before even started to pay creditors, they set you up with a fees on they own discretion, without displaying that on the payment offer, basically they hide their fess, paying nothing to creditors and keep super high fees for themselves. I need refund for those payments.

I have adult **** and had a high credit card balance But my bills were still paid on time. I called National Debt Relief for help to get one payment. They had me on a program for $371 every two weeks for 3-4 months. Meanwhile they told me to stop all automatic payments and to change my phone number to theirs for the creditors to contact. My accounts were all in good standing and all payments on time. Once I started with them all accounts went 3-4 months without payments and my credit score went from 825 to below 600! They did no negotiating during that time while my credit score suffered. Now I am unable to proceed with alternative options like Heloc Lons due to my credit score. You can see that my credit score was almost perfect for the past ***** years. I need help from BBB to help repair my credit score or some type of compensation.

I signed an agreement with this company 9/8/24. I changed my mind and sent an email 9/9/24 to cancel the agreement. I also sent a priority mail letter on 9/10/24. I received an email back on 9/13/24 and they will not cancel my agreement until I call them and provide an explanation. The agreement does not specify that I need to provide a reason - or call. It states the consumer can cancel for any reason, at any time, by writing. I simply want to cancel the contract. No questions asked and want to be opt out of any correspondence with this company! I called to cancel the automatic withdrawal so hope no money is taken out of my account as I have withdrawn consent. If money is withdrawn I will report again and demand a refund in full.

False creditor account information is provided to me and only updates after I accept settlements offers. Contacting support has told me that once I accept a settlement it can't be undone even though I accept settlements based on the false information provided to me. This just seems illegal to trick customers to accept settlements with false information then updating said information after acceptance of the offers and then denying the customer the option to retract their agreement.

NDR refuses to acknowledge any of my questions. I have made it blatantly clear that I only accept email and no phone calls. NDR seems to refuse emailing me. My request was to pay off a creditor with a lump sum deposit I had made. They refuse to work with me in my only form of communication.

I've been with *** for 2 years, I already paid off three creditors. I know when a settlement is listed on the portal, it lists all ************** amounts from the beginning so we know what we are paying & how long for. W/all settlements I had, the fees are listed as soon as a settlement is approved. W/my complete & lost settlements no fees were altered & no others were added on after it was lost or complete. So this is my concern--I lost a settlement due to financial hardship, 5/7/24. On this specific settlement, there were only FOUR fee payments on 5/10/23 $1214.60, 5/31/23 $435.15, 6/6/23 $358.00 & last on 6/29/23 $668.03 from then on my fees were showing paid off & I only had creditor payments left to make. After losing this settlement, I sign in on 5/21/24 & see that TEN more fees were added, totalling $4,770.00 to start on 10/30/24. Then I see an alteration on 5/23/24, the date changed to start on 7/30/24. It was my belief that the FOUR fees listed were the only fees I was going to have to pay because that's all was listed from the beginning. I do not see that my other settlements, lost or complete, have added fees after the fact. I took screenshots to address this with them & two agents both tell me I still owe these fees even after I explained to them that these fees were not there when I first approved this ***************** were only added just after I lost it. They both could NOT explain to me why the fees were added on almost a year later.I was unable to get this issue fixed with Gitmeid/NDR directly. They disregarded my concern and did not help me figure out what happened. They sent me an email saying I already addressed this but nothing was actually done. This is a huge amount they're claiming I need to pay in fees. I am already going through a financial hardship as it was mentioned multiple times to them. I dont believe I should pay fees that were added on almost ONE YEAR later & altered twice even AFTER my final fee payment was made on 6/30/23.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# ********, and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

They have NOT called or spoke to me since I filed this complaint here at BBB. The last we spoke about this issue was in JUNE 2024, which ended, like I mentioned in my complaint, that they could not give me an answer as to why the fees were added after the fact. Today, they still have not contacted me and I have not spoken to anyone from that company about this specific issue for 3 months. So I decline their response because nothing was resolved.

I hired the services of *** on 11/2021 to consolidate my debt of four credit cards. for months I have been paying my debt, Finally I was able to get some money and pay my whole balance ($9,929.49) on July 9, 2024. I found out that the creditors (****************) haven't been paid. I haven't been able to graduate early from the program, They claimed that the account was closed and were not able to pay them. They said they are working a NEW agreement (which I didn't approved or signed) and they wanted more money, when I already paid the balance. Is like they are not allowing me to just graduate from the program, they keep messing with my online account changing money amounts, dates...I just want AMEX to be paid and restore my credit. it is been two months and I have spent money.....time.... with them. they already took their commission out of the amount of money that was paid.

Not transparent. *** requested the offer submitted to my first debt. National Debt Relief (NDR) wont send it. The reason is the "offered" to settle with first debt with not savings to me. They havent made an offer and when I asked wont provide this offer. This first offer to settle debt I have received ******************************************************** the same offer I declined 2 months ago. Additionally, their language is predatory, 25 emails signing up, most were to sign up for their monthly legal counsel. I declined. out of the last 3 calls to me about the same debt settle I declined each call was the card company is going to sue, and I should get protection. NDR preying on me. If they would have been transparent up front none of this would have happened. Signed me up with 50 months to complete, now its 70+ months, and in a year my payments bi-weekly could increase beyond what I can afford. They string you out upfront and then take hostages.

Nothing changed about our relationship, the only thing they clarified with me on the phone was the truth, and in the same breath asked for this complaint to be removed, that in itself is discouraging.

Its not transparent or in my opinion ethical the way they do business, it's predatory behavior.

I am exhausted and wished I would have never met them.

I hired National Debt Relief to consolidate my credit cards. But come to find out that few of my credit cards was being paid off. Instead they was taking all my money for high interest fees for themselves and put me into deeper debt than I was to begin with. This company reached out to me and basically told me I was screwed if I didn't go through with their program. I started out with about ****** in debt and I paid in almost $13,000 to these people. They assured me that my debts would be settled for 50% or less and then they're 25% fee. Because my bank account was compromised by a ***** I missed one payment and by missing one payment any negotiation that had been made was now null and void. I paid in $13,000 and I was still in $12,000 worth of debt at the end of the program. They stole for me, they lied, do not trust these people.
