I am also one of the many users Caden has screwed over. I had over the cash out threshold amount, I think I had around $50 when the app paused the first time. When they came back up the $50 was now $5. They have now (a few months after the points change) paused again. Id now be at $65 or with the change $6.50. Their terms were not changed until after I reached what would have been $65Initial Complaint

This app uses users information for data tracking and the payout used to be 1000 points equals one dollar after making two successful withdrawals of each $45, the app went to maintenance and stayed that way for months. After coming back, the points were changed to 1000 points equals $0..10 and to meet the minimum withdrawal amount, it would take longer than the time limitation to meet that minimum amount. Complaint Description:I downloaded and used the Caden app, which advertises itself as a way for users to earn money by securely linking their financial accounts and sharing their data. However, for several months, the app has been largely inaccessible. When opened, it displays a message stating:Thanks for your patience. Were working on some big things for the Caden app and well be back soon.This message has appeared on and off for months, making the app unusable most of the time. On the rare occasions it does come back online (typically for a day or so), I have been unable to cash out my balance because the app will not allow me to unlink an old, deactivated credit card account. This means I cannot update my payout information or withdraw the earnings Ive accumulated.Caden is continuing to hold users personal financial data and banking connections while failing to provide access to the app, payments, or account management options. Users have no way to remove their data or delete their accounts, yet ********************** still benefits from the data collection that it promises to compensate us for.This situation feels deceptive and unethical. The company appears to be collecting sensitive personal data without providing the agreed-upon service or a method to opt out. Their communication has been nonexistent, and there is no public statement explaining the apps downtime, payout issues, or user data handling during this period.Initial Complaint

I had ****** points available to redeem which is $63.77 however I have not been able to redeem in a long time. I have tried reaching out to customer service. They do not even respond to emails and then at some point in the last few months, my balance points of ****** so now theyre only worth $6.37. And I still cannot cash it out. These people are falsely collecting data. Basically they were stealing my data because the contract per se was they were paying for it. I started using their service in December of 2024. The points system had shown I had a balance of $68.34 to redeem for my data. They recently updated their app without warning making it impossible to withdraw funds until after the update. After the update, they changed the points system making my balance of ****** points go from being worth $68.34 to $6.83.Customer Answer

I started using Caden in mid-2024, and made two successful redemptions of $40 each (once on August 3 2024, and once on December 19 2024, each of these redemptions used ****** points). ****** points was equal to $40. In May of 2025, the app went down for a few months, there was no communication and Caden's social media accounts restricted comments/interaction. They went (and still are) radio silent. Around last month the app came back up, but all of a sudden you could not add or remove banking accounts, and worst of all, the point value was reduced by a 1/100th (****** points now equals $4). Now I can't even redeem the $6 (originally supposed to be $65) because the app will not let me redeem my points unless I fix all the "connection issues" (referring to my connected accounts), but the app will also not let me edit or remove my spending accounts because they are now "unavailable" within the app - effectively preventing me from doing anything at all within the app. There is still absolutely zero communication from anyone related to this business. This is a completely terrible look and an even worse act for them.
