    This company has caused negative effects on my credit score. *** never had a loan out with this company and had no connection with this company what so ever. I believe its a scam company. Check your credit report on credit karma and if you notice them dispute their claim as fast as possible.

    Esusu, **** is a financial services company that is harnessing the power of data to bridge the racial wealth gap.  We accomplish this mission by reporting on time rental payments made by residents to the credit reporting bureaus which allows for individuals to establish or improve their credit scores. We work with property managers and owners to report on and also assist in providing financial literacy and other services to their residents.  This complainant is a resident with a property that is a client of Esusu.  We have been in contact with the complainant to educate them regarding the services we provide through their property management company and also provide additional context regarding the timing of and type of notifications sent to residents as a part of the program.  The complainant has decided to connect directly with their property for additional information and we are awaiting to hear from the complainant regarding any next steps.  The complainant can opt out of this program at any time by contacting our support team directly via email at *************************************** phone at ************ or our contact us page on our website at *************

    Our information was provided to Esusu by our apartment complex without our permission. I opted out of reporting and received confirmation that they would not be reporting to the credit bureau. I received a credit alert that they had reported on June 24. I emailed them immediately to have it stopped, reminding them I had opted out. I want nothing to do with this business - it is no more than a payday loan wrapped in the guise of a credit company.

    On 5/28/2023 I was notified via Credit Karma that an account had been added to credit file. My credit dropped 87 points as a result. The company is a rent reporting agency used to upgrade an individuals credit by allowing rent payments to serve to improve credit issues, avoid evictions as they operate as lenders directly with property managers. This is a voluntary program. When offered participation in the program we refused any participation. At no time did I give Esusu Financial Services permission to use my information, and at no time did I or my daughter provide documention or apply for these services. To my knowlege, Esusuwestcorp purchased this property 'Firesky' fairly recently. Tenants had no warning that the property had changed hands. We have resided here for 3 years, yet the account reflects as new. I/we never made a loan with this company. Several entries were made on my credit report and that of my daughters. I have filed disputes to have the information removed with all three credit reporting bureaus as will my daughter, whose name is also on the lease and is affected. Yesterday, 6/5/2023, I spoke to *****, the secretary in the rental office about my concerns who acknowledged that an error was made and would look into having the problem corrected. Today according to *****, filing disputes would not help us to resolve the matter to have the account removed because Esusu operated through a 3rd party vendor. She would not furnish me with that information until she spoke with '*******' the current property manager. For 3 years our rent has never been late. My daughter's credit was also affected as her information was also used without her permission to open this account. She will also be filing disputes with the credit bureaus to have the account removed. I do have pic of supporting documents but cannot upload at this time. Please allow me until end of week to do so.

    Between April 22nd and April 30th this company ran a hard inquiry on my credit without my knowledge or consent

    Esusu rent relief we need a call return asap on our loan. You have ** and probably many families waiting. Which is not fair. Please contact us. we still need help. The only reason I had to report is that it is not good business. not providing updates. If you're claiming to help then please help but also support/communicate. We are stuck now looking to find ways to come up with funds due to the 5th being reported late and that's another $250.00. We are stuck and not happy. Is this a real company now you have us thinking. Now we have to put in a BBB for our ******************** for even sending this to us to use when it doesn't work if u apply.The Company Name is ESUSU which is a new company that helps the properties they work with get the loan to help those having trouble paying the rent due to events and issues they may be having. Pathlight is the home we rent managing company and ESUSU is the company that provides these loans. Its been a long 2 months of waiting on trying to get updates and get our loan approved.This was the last message I received from someone named ***** I'm guessing a rep. which by this time should be sending our communication to his lead or supvr if not the person in charge of complaints.Hello ******,Thank you so much for following up. 5/3/2023 - I get this email.do you not think Pathlight and ESUSU should be working together and informing their customers and letting them know what's going on?We are currently resolving a technicality on our end and will update you as soon as we can.     I would like to begin this email by extending our sincerest apology for the time it took to get back to you with updates and for the experience you have had so far.


    We recognize that due to a technicality, we had to hold off on updating the applications until this was resolved. Know that we have been working and communicating with Pathlight to come to a resolution. Regretfully, coming to a resolution was prolonged and we recognize the detrimental effect this wait has had on you. We are truly sorry for the inconvenience caused. At the same time, we assure you that every single measure is being taken to handle this problem at its core and to make sure that nothing like this happens again in the future.


    That being said, we have resolved this with Pathlight and as mentioned in the previous email, have moved your application forward to approval.

    The company fraudulently opened an account under my social security number, and will not give me any information about the account, nor help to resolve the issue. I have never signed up for their services, I do not rent, nor have I co-signed a rental agreement for anyone.

    Esusu Financial, Inc. is a financial services company harnessing the power of data to bridge the racial wealth gap.  To that end, we work with property owners and managers to report the on time rental payments of their residents to the credit bureaus to help build and establish credit scores.  Rarely, we receive incorrect data which causes an individual to be reported on in error as happened here.  The complainant contacted our phone support team on 5/3/23 and as a result we filed an AUD with the credit bureaus to acknowledge the error and have the record deleted from the complainant's credit report.  We do consider this issue closed but have followed up with the complainant to validate that there are no outstanding concerns and are awaiting a response.  We apologize for the error and inconvenience.

    Experian notified me this evening that a new account had appeared on my credit report even though I havent recently applied for any credit cards or loans. After looking into it, I found that the account had been created in April 30, 2023 with a company located at ********************************************************************** which appears to be Esusu Financial. I have no connection to this company and hadnt heard of them until the credit alert I received today. Ive never signed up or applied for loans/lines of credit with them and they fraudulently opened an account under my name. I want this new account closed immediately and removed from my credit report.

    On March 31st, I received word from my apartment building that they were partnering with ESUSU and would be reporting my rent payments to the major credit bureaus. The email stated that if we did not want to be part of this program we could opt out by sending an email to ESUSU.On March 31st, I sent an email requesting to be opted out. Over the last month I have requested 9 times to be opted out of this program. They refuse to tell me when they will remove my data from their roster or when they expect to receive my data. I never consented to have my information shared and I have requested numerous times to be opted out. I want my information removed from their roster.

    I have just checked my credit report and noticed that this company is reporting that i am paying rent to them. It is listed under a rental agreement. I do not live there and have never done business with them. Please remove this from all three of my credit reports and do so immediately. I see they have a history of this at their ****************** address. They need to be shut down asap. Address this immediately or litigation will follow shortly. ******** NEED TO REMOVE THIS BUSINESS LICENSE!

To that end we work with property owners and managers to report the on time rental payments of their residents.  Esusu was working with a third party to verify the data it received from the respective properties and has discovered a reliability issue with this vendor whereby individuals were inadvertently and incorrectly reported on.  ********************** is one of those.  We apologize for our error and the inconvenience.  To rectify this issue, there are two things that can be done.  First, he can contact our customer support center and provide some additional information to have an AUD filed on his behalf.  This process will remove the trade line from his credit report directly.  If he feels more comfortable filing on his own, he may file a dispute with the credit bureaus using the information below. Again, we apologize for this error.
