1 starI had an extremely frustrating experience with Digitech Computer LLC, the billing company for ambulance services.They billed me for services that should have been covered by insurance had the claim been submitted correctly and on time. Instead, the claim was filed incorrectly and denied for untimely filing495 days after the date of service, far beyond the standard 180-day filing limit. This denial was entirely due to Digitechs billing errors.When I contacted Digitech to resolve the issue, I received inconsistent and inaccurate explanations, including claims that they did not have my insurance informationdespite documentation showing otherwise. Multiple supervisors acknowledged mistakes were made, yet the bills continued.Ultimately, I paid the balance under pressure to avoid further penalties. To make matters worse, Digitech charges 39% interest on late payments, which is excessive and appears potentially unlawful for medical services. They also failed to respond to my BBB complaint.Patients should not be held responsible for billing company errors. I strongly recommend reviewing any bills from this company very carefully. 1 starWe just received a notice from a debt collection agency for an EMS bill from June 2023. We never received any billing from Digitech EMS Billing, who through research we found was responsible for the billing.Upon calling them, we were told the bill was sent in October 2023 and returned to them as undeliverable in November 2023. They had the correct address so we have no idea what went wrong, but it did not get delivered. That was their only attempt to reach us.We asked if they called to check. No call. Their response "we are only an inbound call center." I didn't even know they existed until now so how were we supposed to call them? Apparently we are supposed to have ESP. Horrible customer service and now I have to "wait for a supervisor to call me." I am unhappy that this was reported to a bill collector and will reflect badly on my credit.This is horrible customer service and no one seems to care at all. They should be ashamed and REMOVED(REMOVED) EMS should be horrified at the level of service they are being given for the billing company they pay. It is terrible. I wish to see a detailed bill, as we are entitled, and I wish to pay the company for the bill directly. I do not wish to deal with a debt collector.Digitech Computer

1 starI have been requesting a refund for the past 5months and all they tell me that is in progress . After requesting to speak to a manager. She called me and left a voicemail saying that they sent a letter to aflac regarding a refund. This company took 4 months to just send a letter to aflac not processing a refund. this company is a scam sad that people with low income have to deal with these useless peopleReview fromMichael H.

1 starCompany attempted to bill me for a service 2 years later. I received a bill for an ambulance transport 2 years after I was hospitalized. I do not dispute the charge, however their billing practices are unprofessional and unethical. I settled with the at fault parties insurance company in 2020, but received the bill for ambulance transportation for the first time in 2022. I sent them emails and letters. They attempted to bill my insurance at the time of the accident in which i provided them, but of course they were also not buying. People that answer the phones are VERY unprofessional and rude.Digitech Computer

1 starRating this place a one star is too generous. My child had an ambulance ride a few months ago. The insurance company sent a check to me. I cashed it and paid the REMOVEDMay 31, 2023 and the money left my account June 5, 2023 and this business cashed the check on June 13, 2023. Once again, because this has happened before----they are REMOVEDing me again. I called in and spoke with a rep and she asked me if I had the check number that they cashed. I called the bank, got the check number and provided it via email so I would have a record. Now I am being told by REMOVED, Billing Representative that "I" the customer must provide a picture of the check, even after providing the check number. This is totally absurd. This business should be investigated. They should have an accounting department where the check can be tracked down by the number. In order for me to get a check, I have to file a dispute with my bank, this looks horrible because we (the bank and I) can see they cashed the check. This is the second time I've been asked to do this for this company.. It seems like they are sloppy, inept, losing payments and requires the customer to do their job for them. They are disgusting and I should be compensated if I am tasked with doing their work. I am filing a complaint with the REMOVEDof REMOVEDbecause they asking me to do free work. I am also filing complaints with other agencies on them.
