    I placed Order #****** on May 30, 2025, and as of today, I have yet to receive any meaningful update on its shipping status. This lack of communication is incredibly frustrating. I attempted to contact customer service for clarity, only to experience even more disappointment. While composing my initial inquiry, I was placed on hold for over two minutes. The call queue moved me from position 14 to 3, then briefly to 1, only to drop me back to position 4. This kind of inconsistency and disorganization is unacceptable for any company claiming to value its customers.Its extremely uncomfortable to feel ignored and uncertain about an order Ive paid for. Not only is the delay frustrating, but the inability to speak with someone directly adds to the disappointment. I should not have to jump through hoops just to find out where my package ***** this point, Im asking for a clear shipping update within the next four days. If no response is provided, I will cancel my orderagain. I sincerely hope this review prompts the company to reevaluate its customer service practices. No customer should feel disregarded after making a purchase.waiting.....

    I truly wished I read the reviews prior to submitting my order back in Mar 10 using my FSA funds, it is now May and still no product. I originally contacted them via the phone three weeks after not receiving any updates. The customer service *** stated that my product was on backorder, and it would arrive the following Monday. I asked when the frames arrive how long would it take to get my rx filled. The *** did not ***ly and hung up on me. I waited another two weeks in hopes to receive follow up and I decided to send an inquiry via email. Seems like their typical response to the customers on this thread that everything is backordered. It's truly unfortunate as I have been waiting patiently for a product that was advertised with a great deal of promise. Please do your research prior to requesting any service from this company.

    Your order placed on March 10 included the Saint ******* ** 596 DUNE OPT eyeglasses, which unfortunately went on backorder with the manufacturer. We understand how important timely delivery is especially when using *** funds and we deeply regret that this delay was not anticipated at the time of your purchase.
    Wed like to clarify that when you called our customer service team, we informed you of the items backordered status and shared the expected restock timeline as provided by the manufacturer. We're truly sorry if the call experience felt incomplete or unprofessional. That is not reflective of our service standards, and we are looking into the call handling internally.
    You later followed up via email on April 23, and we responded promptly on April 24, confirming that the manufacturer had extended the backorder to mid-July. We also assured you that we are in ongoing communication with the supplier and that your order will ship immediately once available, with tracking information provided.

    Next Steps
    We understand the wait has been longer than expected, and wed like to make things right. At this point, you are welcome to:
    Keep your order active and well fulfill it immediately upon restock
    Switch to a different in-stock frame, and well assist with the swap
    Cancel the order entirely for a full refund, including your FSA payment
    Please let us know which option youd prefer, and we will process it right away. Your satisfaction is important to us, and were here to support you however you choose to proceed.

    Absolutely AWFUL! Delivery took forever. I ordered 3 pairs of progressive glasses, and all 3 came with lenses that are terrible. Shapes are distorted, and they make me sick and dizzy. I have tried so hard to make them work, but I just can't. They insist they were made correctly, and will not offer me any sort of refund. I even asked if they would just refund the lenses and I would keep the frames, again, NO! I should've listened to other reviewers that said the same thing. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!!

    Your review contains several claims that do not accurately reflect the facts of your order or our efforts to assist you. All three pairs of progressive lenses were made exactly to the specifications provided in your prescription. They were carefully crafted by licensed optical labs and passed final inspection before shipping.
    When you reached out expressing difficulty adjusting to the lenses, our team responded promptly and professionally. While progressive lenses can require an adjustment period, especially for new wearers or new prescriptions, we take these concerns seriously. As such, we offered to have all three pairs returned for a full inspection and verification at no additional cost to you. Unfortunately, you did not return the glasses for analysis, which prevented us from evaluating the issue further or exploring possible solutions.
    We also respectfully advised that due to the custom nature of prescription lenses, especially progressives, our policy does not support refunds unless there is a manufacturing defect which we could not confirm without inspecting the items.
    At every step, we acted in good faith, followed our policies, and provided attentive, solution-oriented customer service. We regret that despite our efforts, you chose not to proceed with the return evaluation that could have resolved this.
    We remain committed to delivering quality products and transparent service. If you are still open to having the glasses reviewed by our team, we are happy to assist.

When we identified that your online order included progressive lenses without the necessary prescription details, we reached out to confirm whether your prescription was for single vision. Upon your confirmation, we adjusted the order accordingly and issued a $59 refund to reflect the lower lens cost all with your approval and in a timely manner.
    At no point did we ignore emails or delay communication. In fact, your responses and our replies were exchanged within the same day. We take pride in providing transparent, courteous service, and we regret that your impression reflects otherwise.

    I placed an order for eyeglass frames and expected to receive it within 7 days as advertised. I followed up with the order after 7 days and the Designer Optics *** ***lied that I will be informed once their factory has shipped the order. I insisted and wanted to know time frame but they ignored. I asked for a refund and they ignored to ***ly.

    I placed an order for frames, they charge my **** and they never sent an order confirmation. Had to email them to find out that the order even went through. After a few weeks I had to contact them again to see where my order was, no updates. They said the manufacturer had not sent them yet but that they would have information by the end of the next week. Turns out they weren't even opened all of that next week so when I reached out to them the following week, I called. I was put on hold and told my wait time would be 27 minutes. An hour and a half later a representative took my order number and said they would have to contact the manufacturer for the status and after waiting, he got back online and said they had not been sent. I'm not really even sure if they are legit.

    Horrible!!!! I should read the reviews before I purchased my sunglasses prescription. Their customer service is terrible. No update or status regarding my order. Horrible communications. They specify delivery 7-10 business days, and still no information regarding my order. Paid in full with shipping. I agree with other reviewer Designer Optics is a rip off, I would not recommend this company with anyone. Horrible!!!! The customer service I spoke to via chat keep stating my prescription sunglasses was sent to the lab and yet no update from my online account, still show unfulfilled status. I asked customer service why they have not updated my online account regarding my order, I was told its a the lab. this place is a scam.

    I purchased a frame and paid the overnight delivery ********* no tracking info.I reached out to customer service who said they didnt have the frame in stock.Upon asking them for a refund for my overnight delivery they blunt told me they dont give refunds and soon as the frames are in stock they will send me the information.Who knows when that will be.Also customer service stop responding to my questions.This place is a rip off.
