Bought a dryer in 2020 got the extended warranty. Dryer making an awful noise 4/3. Call for repair they decide not worth sending out guys to look at it and offer me $261.00. What kind of warranty is this. I spent $100 on warranty and they deducted that from value of dryer. So I had to hire a repairman. So beware when you purchase an extended warranty

I had trouble finding information, and Nathan Z**** was patient and very helpful in resolving my issues. Great job by Nathan as he he helped me to navigate with what I had by suggesting different avenues to find the information needed. Thank you so much.

They gave me four different excuses why they were only offering me $326 for a $1,570 trolling motor. To make a long story short I refused their offer and sued them in a ***** court under the DECEPTIVE TRADE PRACTICES Act where they were found guilty. I won a judgment of $3,141.98 (almost 10 times the amount they were trying to get me to take). I had page after page of evidence that they were lying and trying to cheat me out of what I deserved. They claim to have a nearly five star company but if you read the reviews you will find like I did that the only good reviews have to do with the cost of the warranty and the ease of registration. I have yet to find one review where someone was happy with the outcome of their claim. I hope this review will help others in the future to avoid making the same mistake I did by buying a warranty from this company. To this day CPS still claims my warranty is invalid after I proved without a doubt to a court that it is 100% valid in every way. My next step is to use social media to spread the word around the country about this dishonest company to hopefully help as many people as possible. *************************** vs consumer priority services, *************, ***** January 2023.

CPS is a prime example of why most consumer advocates warn about avoiding warranties and warranty companies. Claim submitted for a 4 month old, brand new camera needing an LED screen replaced is now 1 year old. Just found out they "disposed" of the original unit three months after the claim was made and now only want to pay pennies on the dollar based on the lowest priced **** listing available. Complete joke. Worse than the settlement process is their customer **********************. Communications are one-way, to the customer when ******************** feels up to communicating. Agents don't answer and extension numbers/voice mail boxes are unreachable when calling into speak with them. Equally as unresponsive when questions or information are provided to them in the "customer claims portal". There are some decent warranty companies still around - CPS is NOT one of them. Save the money you would spend on their "warranty service" and ************* or replace your purchased item on your own.

I sent a very expensive receiver in for repair. It made it to their facility no problem. They then mailed it to their repair shop and claim *** damaged the unit and have an open claim with then. This stated in October, the claim was denied 5x, I was never updated. I had to call every time. I got an update late December that *** approved the claim and *** is mailing them a check and when they get the check they will send it to me. I called for an update back on Jan 5th and was told to be patient. I called again on 1/16/23 and was told they are still disputing with *** and it was not approved. I asked what happened as I was told that it was approved to go back from waiting for *** and of course the representativedidnt have an answer. I started this in October, sent in a device worth thousands and still have no insights as to what's going on. If I don't get any movement soon I will be seeking legal action.

If youre given a choice on an extended warranty company, DO NOT choose CPS. ****************** didnt give me a choice when I purchased my kitchen appliances. They have a relationship with CPS. My first experience with a claim was a 6 month ordeal. From the initial call to report a problem, to days of reviewing the claim, then waiting for CPS to review the repair techs report, getting a part authorized to order, the part was then on a co-mingled freight truck with NO traceable tracking info, and when the part finally came, we had to wait for an appointment with the repair company. This was over 6 months. Now, my freezer stopped working on my Kitchen Aid refrigerator, just 4 years old. CPS sent my info to the repair company (which required a second call from me to ask to resubmit the info). I was given a repair appointment 9 days out, nothing sooner. My refrigerator then stopped working all together. I asked the repair company to fit me in sooner, to no avail. I then emailed CPS to ask for help since we now have no refrigerator working, with 4 adults in the house. It took 3 days to get a response, which said Thanks for reaching out. Our records indicate you are on schedule for a service call on 12/9. Hope this clarifies! This DOES NOT CLARIFY. I was asking for help. I just canceled the appointment. I will never buy an extended warranty again from a 3rd party.

**** was the most professional and pleasant person I have ever spoken with in customer service. He listened to everything I said and accommodated in every way I could hope for. I rarely write reviews, because they would all be bad. I wanted to take the time on ****…he was simply exceptional!!
      Thanks ****!!

They are a sleazy company that will not honor their warranty. The sleazy manager ****** appears quick to give excuses rather than repair appliances.

This company is despicable! They have the worst customer service ever! On 9/28/22 I filed a claim with them for my 2 year old ********** in which the freezer stopped working. We learned that the main computer board was defective and the part needed was on a national back order with greater than a one year wait. I spoke with CPS after receiving the diagnosis and was told my claim would be reviewed. I submitted the findings from the repair company on 09/30/22. On 10/3/22 I received an email claim was under review. On 10/5/22 I sent more information and received another email asking me to allow 24-48 hours for estimate to be reviewed. I did not receive another response until 10/12/22. Email stated they tried to call, but I did not receive a call. I emailed the same person 6 times after that. We did have to purchase another fridge which we ordered on 10/4/22 knowing it would take several weeks for a new one to come in. The email I received stated ********** has approved a replacement. No further direction after that came. I called again 10/31/22 and was told to send my receipt for the new fridge. On 11/2 I received a call from the most condescending rude man, named ******. He told me I did not follow directions therefore I was not entitled to any reimbursement. He told me ********** would be replacing my fridge and no one told me to go purchase another fridge. I called ********** and now have a written letter stating that is not accurate. The warranty company is responsible for replacing the unit not Frigidaire.
