      WORST WARRANTY COMPANY EVER!! PLEASE do your research before purchasing a warranty from CPS. My review is much like many others. On 11/24/23 I filed a claim with CPS for my 2 year old refrigerator. After 4 separate repair companies over the next 3+ months, a repair attempt was made on 3/9/24, and it was determined that the appliance was non-repairable. It was a sealed system repair. On 3/27/24, I received a call from CPS offering a rebate from Frigidaire with matching offer from CPS. My warranty is with CPS not Frigidaire, and I have no intention of purchasing another Frigidaire. I have yet to hear back from CPS. It has been 5 months since I filed my claim...with no refrigerator and a child in the home....and counting...DO NOT PURCHASE FROM CPS

      STAY FAR AWAY! I bought an ** French door fridge for $1200 in 2021, paid $200 for one of their warranties and almost 3 years later the compressor dies. I have to pay a $99 deductible to even begin the claim. It takes them over a week to send someone to actually look at it. I'm bounced between 3 companies that are saying they don't come to my area. I have to call multiple times to get assistance. Eventually they tell me the fridge is beyond economical repair and offer $671. The standard rate of depreciation for a refrigerator is about 6.7%. even rounding up to 3 years would leave the value at almost $970. I brought this to their attention and asked for an adjustment. They declined. With all the money I've paid them, all I'm left with is $371 and a fridge full of spoiled food. Don't be like me.

      I am sure most people think warranty companies are a scam or are not what they say they are.I am an old man, and in all my years have never dealt with a more reliable and reputable company than CPS. I bought a warranty for my electric pressure washer, it failed about 9 months later, and they honored the warranty immediately. The customer ********************** from ****** was exceptional.

      As a CPS dealer selling appliances this company has been extremely frustrating to deal with. They will find just about any reason not to honor their warranties. One time a technician went to the customers house to fix their fridge, and told them they cant fix it because it doesnt have the right sticker. It had a sticker with the model and serial number. When I called customer **********************, they came up with a reason for the warranty being voided.Another time, a business partner called the company and told them to void all $750 worth of our warranties because he was leaving the company. They happily did so without contacting me, so I was unknowingly giving customers useless warranty cards that did nothing. When I contacted them they told me Id be forced to buy new warranty cards and would not be refunded for the ones that were voided.I have lost all trust with this company and will no longer be using their services.

      This company is a scam. I bought a 3 year warranty accidental coverage repair for under $500 from one of their distributors and when I went to file a claim they stated the product has depreciated in value and the repair exceeds the economical repair cost. There is nothing stating this at the time of purchase and I did not receive any terms and conditions for my coverage, only thing I received was an email stating to review warranty coverage details nothing states that your product will depreciate over time and the source of their market evaluation comes from what products like mine are selling on ***** I spoke with ***** from CPS who gave me this information. I honestly feel like I was scammed out of $450. I would recommend that consumers Do not buy anything from CPS or blackboxmycar.com.
