I had bought a camera and returned it to buy a new camera. I was told that I would have to purchase another warranty but the store but the CPS representative ******* figured it out for me and changed the serial number on the account to the new camera. Process was super smooth and very fast. She was very professional! I would definitely recommend her to anyone who deals with CPS. Thanks again!

I am filing this complaint against CPS Insurance for unjustly denying my valid claim on a product covered by an extended warranty I purchased in good faith.Despite fulfilling all required steps and providing supporting documentation, my claim was denied without a proper justification. I contacted the insurer multiple timestwice via email (which went unanswered) and thrice through their web chat, where I was finally told to just take the premium refund. This response is both unethical and unacceptable. The warranty was purchased specifically for the purpose of protecting my product, not to be refunded after my genuine loss. The insurers approach raises serious questions: Is this how they conduct business? They get to keep the premiums as long as nothing goes wrong, and when theres an actual loss, they walk away?Their actions amount to bad faith business practices, failing to honor their contractual obligations. I am requesting:A complete and fair review of my claim.Either full coverage of repair/replacement costs as per the warranty terms or a detailed written justification for the denial, referencing the exact clause under which my claim was denied.Compensation for any additional costs incurred due to delays caused by their lack of timely communication. If not resolved promptly, I will consider escalating this matter to relevant consumer protection agencies and exploring legal options. I expect a professional and transparent response.Claim Number: ******* Warranty Number: ******* Product Details: BOSE Earbuds Date of Purchase / Warranty Activation: [Insert Date]

I have a Thermador Microwave/oven, which is now on its extended 5 year warranty. The door broke so I filed a claim to have it replaced. CPS denied the claim with the following reply: "Damaged internal parts within your product do not qualify for in home service. Knobs, handles, buttons, wheels, bearings, shelves, trays, drawers, slides, guides etc. are made by the manufacturer to be user adjustable and/or replaceable in the event of physical damage." I explained that the hinges and door are one part according to Thermador and not an internal part. Also doors are not mentioned in the terms and conditions. A supervisor said the microwave/oven door is like a car door--not a functional part. I disagree--my car isn't a jeep and doesn't function without the door. Also there is a sticker right on the microwave/oven door which states: "Precautions for safe use to avoid possible exposure to excessive microwave energy. Do not attempt to operate this oven with: (a) object caught in door (b) door that does not close properly (c) damaged door, hinge, latch, or sealing surface." I also called Thermador and the warranty department stated that the door was a covered part under the initial two year warranty. The extended warranty is supposed to cover what the manufacturer covers.I was advised to send an email to a supervisor, which I did 4/9/25 and have yet to receive a reply. I also sent an email to appeals on 4/14/25 and also never received a reply. Also, customer ********************** is nice is obtaining the claim, but after their initial denial no one wants to speak or as I stated above reply to emails. This company has an extremely high revenue, so it's clear they'll take your money but will do all possible not to pay. I do NOT recommend wasting your money on an extended warranty through CPS.
