I purchased a flight from this website for an agreed-upon price. I was then told via email I needed to call them to finish booking when I called I was told my flight was pending and the only way to move forward or confirm my flight was to pay additional money for the same flight. After refusing to pay any additional money I was told I needed to call the airline. The airline is unable to to do anything as I did not have a confirmation number from the website. When I call the website back they explained there was nothing they could do and I would have to pay more money as they could not refund my money.Initial Complaint

1-13-2024 $245.59 I booked a flight and thirty minutes later I received a phone call telling me my flight was not available and the only option was wo use a different flight at a different time that did not work with my work schedule for $55.00 more. I asked for a refund and they said they would refund my ticket but not the insurance premium for the flight of $16.00. When I said that is fraud if you couldn't even book the original flight, they then said we won't refund you anything, take it up with your bank.Initial Complaint

On November 9 a little before 7 PM I booked a flight for my husband from ****** ****** to ************ ********** on a website called top flight fares. I never got a booking or ticket confirmation. It said pending a few minutes later I got an email saying if I had any questions about my flight that I would need to call ************** when I called this number from multiple phones you get the error message you have insufficient balance to make this call then I got an email saying that I needed to call a lady named ***** at extension ****. The phone number is ************ to make my flight reservation when I called the phone number the lady didnt say thank you for calling any airline she just picked up the phone and said hello what is your phone number? I gave her my phone number and told her I needed to speak to ***** at extension **** she said one moment and then said ***** is on the phone with somebody else. She will call you back in couple of minutes and then hung up. I am pretty sure I got scammed and I would like you to look into this for me pleaseInitial Complaint

I booked a flight at topflightfares.com from ************** ****, to ********* **. The total cost was $1014.46, according to their site. However, a messaged displayed in the end saying my booking was pending and an agent would call me, or I could call them at **************. I called the number and the agent told me that price wasnt right and the real price was $1300. I immediately told him to cancel it, because that wasnt the amount I authorized to come out of my credit card. The agent mumbled something under his breath and then hung up on me. I tried to call back, but their line kept taking me to a message that said You have insufficient balance to call this destination and then the call was disconnected. I have unlimited calls and data. *************************(supervisor) at top flight fares used my card fraudulently and book a trip with ********* airlines that I did not approve. When I contacted this company at ************ at 12:50 pm on 10/20/23, after I purchased my airline ticket for $187.47, ***** told me my departure flight was accepted but not my return flight. This was a round trip ticket from ******* to ******* departing on 11/21/23 and returning on 11/26/23. She advised that I book another return flight because the return flight I selected was no longer available and she could not issue me a refund for the departing flight. I thought this was absurd and asked to speak with her manager she refused, got irate with me on the phone and every time I hung up and called back I continued to get ***** on the line and she was irate every time she picked up the phone. I called back at 12:57 and spoke with ***** and asked to speak with a manager. He took a message and said to allow 1-4 hours for a call back. While I was on the phone with ***** top flight fares charged my mother's credit card, ***********************, $463.98 for a flight with ********* from ******* to ******* on 10/21/23 without her consent. I have the proof. Please refund and cite/close this company down for fraud!Business Response

I am sorry to know that you had an unpleasant experience booking your tickets from our website. The price of the tickets are decided by the airlines and we do no t have control over the ticket price, based on the availability of seats airlines change the ticket price. By the time the customer confirmed the booking on our website, the price had changed and hence the booking got pending which was informed to the customer through email. When the customer called us the call was directed to the Agent ***********************, as this pending booking was assigned to her and she was working to make sure the customer gets a confirm booking. ***** did explain the whole process to the customer and also informed the unavailability of the seats that were initially booked by the customer. At that point the seats that were available were at a higher price, which was informed to the customer. The customer was not okay to pay the higher price and asked us cancel the booking, so we cancelled the booking with us.
The customer claims in the complaint that the card was charged for $463.98, We never charge any card without a written consent from the customer, we email all the details to the customer and only after the customer replies us agreeing to the charge and authorize us to charge the card we can charge the credit card. In this case the customer didn't agree with the charge and so we cancelled the booking.
After receiving this complaint we tried calling the customer to get more details and to resolve the complaint, but the customer kept disconnecting the call.

My son tried to book a flight through ************** off of the CheapTickets.com website. They took $824.46 from his bank account on September 4, 2023, via a debit card, but never booked the flight. They contacted him saying he owed an additional $165.52, which is when the red flags went up, and we started checking for reviews.The Reference number they gave him is *****.When asked for a refund, he was told that ********************* ************************, is the only person who could give the refund, and strangely, he isnt in. ??Initial Complaint

I attempted booking a flight through this companys website. Once the information was processed it stated the confirmation was pending. I called ********************* and he said the price we paid was no longer available only something more expensive. However, the website still had that price available later on and even cheaper as well, shown in the attachments. I didnt want to pay more so I no longer wanted the more expensive flight fare. He said there was no refunds and a cancellation fee. Again, in the attachments theres a green flag stating Refund Options Available. I asked for a supervisor and apparently no one higher up was able to help at that time and ended the call abruptly. Upon reviewing what he booked from the original price there was a governments cut of $100.20 from the total price. So this agent lie about the original fare being sold out and about a refund option. I emailed my concerns twice. When attempting to call the 2 customer service numbers they never answer, no automated service or call back option is available. No customer service response via email for over 5 days. This whole experience feels very fraudulent and I would like a refund for the full amount of $349.98. My son booked a cheaper flight on topflightfares.com. The cost was $238 and stated all taxes and fees were included. When he put in his credit card information And hit submit he got a ticket pending notice. He found a number and called. In the meantime I looked up reviews and every review stated that this site was a scam and to not book with them. So the scam is that they then tell you that that ticket is no longer available and you will have to pay an additional fee or lose your money. In my sons case it was another $162. He then tried to cancel because the disclaimer when he booked said you could cancel within 24 hours. The man then tells my son that that policy is not valid on any promotions (which is every single ticket he sells on his site). My son argued with him and he hung up on him and would not answer his number anymore. I tried to call back and discuss the charges and he got rude and told me it was all legal and would not stop talking so that I could say anything. He kept telling me that I would listen to him. I stated that we would call the bank in the morning and also report him for fraud. He then stated that he would report me (but I am not sure why?). He then hung up on me after stating no refunds would be given. We have no airline ticket at this time and a $400 charge.Initial Complaint

I was online searching flights from ******* to ********** for March ***** round-trip and nonstop. I found a flight for 177 through topflightfare so I booked the flight at 9:10pm. At 9:50 they were trying to call me to tell me the flight had been overbooked and was nonrefundable but they could offer me a flight on a different airline same dates with 1 layover for 298. I feel as though this was a scam, they didn't even offer a spot for flight insurance incase of over booking and how did a flight suddenly have no seats available and the more expensive seat is with the same airline so either i lose 177 dollars or I spend 121 more
