June 4, 2024 I booked a flight through top flight fares dot com for a flight from ***************** to ***********, ** and found a good rate. I proceeded to book my flight for two passengers for June 6, 2024. I was informed on the website that I would receive a call to complete the booking. She called and said it was for July 6. I told her I needed to change the date. She said she can change it for 3 times the price of the current cost. I asked if I can refund my tickets since I didnt want this proposal she gave me and she said I cant get a refund. So I ask for her to change the date to June 6th with the same price and she responded are you telling me what to do?, thats when I knew she was scamming me, she had a nasty attitude with me, she continued to insult me and degrade me by telling me I am not professional. I hung up on her to call support and support transferred me back to this same woman who continued to be rude. I hung up and she relentlessly called my phone. I turned off my card, but I know for sure they got my information because when I booked the flight, it asked for my name, birthdate, home address, credit card number, phone number, email. I literally gave them all my info when I booked. I am worried. If I turn it back on, is this crazy Indian woman going to drain my account?? Whats going on? BBB has more than 20 complains on this company and nothing is being done to stop them? Call *********************** (not her real name) ************** and you can talk to the infamous scammer! Attempted to purchase a one way plane ticket for a price of ****** and after entering all information and credit card information. It sent me to a page saying not confirmed and I wpuld now have to call a phone # to confirm the reservation. Called the number and spoke to ************** who said the flight was not confirmed and now the price was over ******. I asked for a supervisor he said he was the supervisor. I told him to cancel the reservation as it said it could be cancelled in 24 hours, and he argued with me. He then said he would talk to "his Team" and put me on hold. He the got back on the line said he could lower the cost to mid $500.00 range. I again told him to cancel my reservation which he said he could not and wpuld not do. I told him I would be filing a report to BBB and my credit card company for fraudulent purchase as I didn't agree to those prices and their web sight specifically says a full refund on 24 hour cancelation. It had been 2 hours. This buisness is a scam and is just trying to get credit card information from people to upcharge them.Initial Complaint

Purchased was made through the website TopFlightFares.com on 5/8/2024 and for the amount of $448. Following the booking the web site stated booking is pending, provided reference # ****** and stating I will receive an email to confirm tickets. No email received so I called the number provided and the agent with name of **** said the tickets were no longer available at the discounted price and I would need to *** additional amount to purchase the same tickets. I said no thank, he then stated you have already paid for the discounted ticket price and if canceled it will be *************************************************************** to their website which states 3 to 4 days after paying a $25 refund fee. The agent offered a different airline option and I said no thank you. He proceeded to tell me "what kind of **** is this" "why would you think you could buy tickets for $400 and some dollars". I stated you are being ignorant and that is what your site quoted a price at and charged me for.When I stated I will call back after I review their cancellation policy and he asked how long. He was very persistent on knowing when I will call back.I asked to speak with a manager, he stated he was the manager and the highest level manager on at the moment.I requested a refund, he asked why I would not book the other option and then said I will call back.Initial Complaint

On 3/2/2024 I purchased 2 sets of round trip airline tickets from this company. Soon after I got a phone call from them saying the price had increased by $50 which I agreed to. They made me reply to an email saying that I agreed. I did not get any sort of confirmation from them the flight was actually booked. I called and was told to call back in 24 hours. This happened several times. I even asked for a callback and was told they would and never got one. So after over 2 weeks of this I called to cancel and was told that it would cost $150 for each set. They said this was in the fine print of the original sale. They refused to cancel this unless I paid in advance. They again forced me to reply to an email stating that I agreed to this $300 charge or I would not get the cost of the flights back. Had they talked to me instead of telling me to call back in *********************************************************** there were issues booking the flights I would have cancelled the flight the first time I called. This company pretends to be a travel company, offering low cost fares but after you purchase a ticket, they create a reason for you to call them. In my event, they changed the date of birth and name to cause me to be concerned and then when I called to update the details I was informed that ticket has now changed to a higher price. What a scam...so I did a search and discovered this is their racket. they should not be allowed to continue business. When I asked for a refund, they had the audacity to suggest I should have known I was being scammed. ha ha I will get a refund from my credit card company, but I just want to report it to give the BBB more evidence of their intentions.Initial Complaint

I booked a flight using topflightfares.com. It said booking was pending. They called me back saying it would cost over double what I was quoted. On Thursday Feb 15th 2024 we booked 2 round trip flights to ********* for a total of $677. I received a message that my booking was pending and call to speak to a representative, which I did. When I spoke to her she mentioned that the price has gone up on $277 for the flights. I said well Id like to cancel them and she said sorry I have the departure flight booked and I can only get a credit to use on another flight within a year, so with our hands tied I had to book the flights for the additional $277 charge which we werent happy about. I got on their website the next day and they were offering the same flight that we booked on the 15th back to the $677 amount. I called them up and explained the situation and they put me back in with the agent I spoke with on the 15th and she basically she sorry you agreed to the deal. I had no choice because the only thing they offered was losing **************************************************** have to find 2 more flights elsewhere. I explained the price change and they said too bad and wouldnt allow me to speak to a supervisor. This is very poor business and I cant believe they are allowed to get away with this. This company getting all my personal information they provide me a ticket for one price and then they are trying to hold me for another hour and calling me back and telling me that tickets no longer available and I need to book another flight for much more expensive ticket in this case tis is called fraud ! On 1/24/23 I tried twice to buy airfare through Top Flight Fares at low prices that it later was revealed appeared to be fake. I believe Top Flight Fares runs a 'bait and switch' scheme whereby they advertise low prices they never intend to sell tickets at, in an attempt to lure customers into purchasing air fare at prices that are then inflated.I first bought a ticket for a ********* Airlines flight that was approx. $60 below the price on the ********* website for the same seat on the same flight. Upon purchase, I received a message that the sale was 'pending.' An agent from Top Flight Fares called me to say the flight I'd purchased was now 'unavailable,' and offered an alternative for nearly double the price. I declined and went back online to search again. The flight at the lower price I'd originally purchased at was still posted on their website.I then bought a second ticket, again through Top Flight Fares, for a similar flight on Delta, which was advertised at around $40 below the price posted on Delta's website. Almost the same exact thing happened. I received a message to say the purchase was 'pending' and then received a call. The agent from Top Flight Fares again told me that the ticket I'd bought was 'unavailable,' and offered an alternative at a much higher price. I asked to speak to a supervisor, and was told I would receive a callback, which I didn't. I checked their website and saw that this 'unavailable' flight was, again, still up on their website.I consider this to be false advertising and a fraudulent attempt to obtain payment card information. They did not charge me for these tickets, but I now consider my payment information to be less secure. I would like Top Flight Fares to be compelled to cease this practice of advertising falsely low fares, which I do not believe they have any intention of honoring.Customer Answer

Date of transaction 1/9/24 I paid for a flight through Topflightfares.com was supposed to be 105.22$, when my payment went through, the receipt on my card totaled ******. ( frontier airline) In the matter of 2 minutes, a customer rep from ************** called and told me I had to pay 60$ or else I would be forced to have my tickets cancelled, and money wouldnt be returned for 2-3 weeks, and could be up to 1 month. Knowing I didnt have the Money to buy another ticket (and wait 2-3 weeks for the money to be returned to buy another ticket) I was forced to pay the 60$ extra for Im not sure what. I saw on my receipt that I was charged by Goldenairtravel LLCThat night I search ****** and found many flights with the same price as I originally paid and I called back to speak with a supervisor about this and I was dealing with the same representative **** told named ***** and she was very rude and would not do anything but respond Im going to cancel your tickets so I was hung up on, and I later called to find out my tickets had been cancelled. I was returned ******$ by frontier airline, but have not been returned the remaining $60. I since have called and was greeted again by the same representative ***** and have been told I would not get the remaining balanced paid back. I need my money back the tickets had been bought and cancelled within a couple hours or so.
