    This company is a joke and a total scam!
    I have the same exact complaint as everyone else. I paid $0.95 to convert one document and they charged me $39.95 for 2 months after I had instructed them to cancel.
    No refunds yet.

    I paid this site .95 to convert a PDF to an odd file type I needed in a pinch and they signed up my PayPal to charge me $39.95 one week later AS AN AUTOMATIC MONTHLY PAYMENT? I had to email to cancel (another red flag, why no cancel button on their site?), however they refuse to refund my payment. So it’s pretty much theft. Nothing is normal anymore. People just get scammed on all the time. This company is NOT TO BE TRUSTED. Should be called The WORST pdf bc it’s just yet another 2025 grift.

    I signed up for a trial in July 025 for a one-time $0.95 payment to convert a PDF, which I considered fair. However, without my authorization, the company charged me $39.95 on 2 times in August and 2 time in September for a subscription I never agreed to or automatic renewal. I only intended to make the initial $0.95 payment. It took me a month to figure out what the charge was for as they use a 3rd party payment processor. When I reached out for a refund they offered me 2 years free. When I expressed that I was not interested and requested a refund again. They completely stopped responding.

    My experience is the same as those described. .99 trial for a single use and then charged $39.95 for a monthly subscription I didn’t authorize . They will not refund me.

    I signed up for a trial in September 2025 for a one-time $0.95 payment to convert a PDF, which I considered fair. However, without my authorization, the company charged me $39.95 on September 7, 2025, as a monthly subscription. I never agreed to a subscription or automatic renewal. I only intended to make the initial $0.95 payment. Doing research on this company, it is clear that THEBESTPDF only responds to the Better Business Bureau requests. please give this incident your needed attention, and I greatly appreciate any assistance you may provide.

    I used this service once, and I paid $0.95 for a time service. And I never subscribed monthly plan with the high price of $39.95. Somehow they still charge me through my PayPal. I contacted them, and first, they offered me 2 years of free service. Then they canceled my subscription and said it is non-refundable. And it must be canceled within 24 hours, otherwise they automatically charge your money for the monthly plan. That makes me sure this is a scam. If you use TheBestPdf.com, be ready to loose $39.95. And yes PayPal doesn't help, if you use credit information card. Your bank can get that amount back for you easily.

    This company should receive negative stars!!
    They are a total scam. Along with the previous comments, paid 1.00 to try to convert a pdf to jpg. It did not work. They then charged me, without my approval $39.95. When I realized this and tried to get a refund they refused as “in the terms and conditions” it states only refunds in first 24 hrs I did not read the terms as I had no intention of signing up for something that did not work for me.
    I also incurred other charges due to this trans action

    This company is a scam they hide the fact that they’re a subscription based company show you a price of about $1 and charge your card days later for $40 and they won’t refund.

    HORRIBLE. Should be a no star rating.
    I CANCELLED MY SUBSCRIPTION THE SAME DAY AND I WAS CHARGED A WEEK LATER AND COMPANY WOULD NOT REFUND ME. HUGE SCAM. IF I KNEW IT WOULD BE THIS I WOULD HAVE PRINTED OUT A FREE BLANK FORM.
