  I used google to find a W9 form and this was the result i got. I used this site to download a PDF file of the "W9". I notice that the download took a few minutes and I hit the button again, so I got "two" of the same thing. and I was charged $1.95 for each file. That's all I needed and I didn't need anything else. 5 days later, I get a charge for $39.95, my bank contacted me immediately to info me about this fraudulent charge I did not authorize. So now I had to close my card, and I think I have a virus ever since I downloaded the PDF files. My Google chrome keeps crashing. Never was a problem before.

  I am SO glad I’m not alone in my thoughts and feelings about this company there really should be -0 stars. I concur with all the reviews that were posted. This company functions on deception. They give you a trial and sign you up for a 39.95 subscription 14 days later. They don't notify you that you have a subscription and I am sure some people don't even realized it till months later. Then you have to make calls and write emails to either block the payment or try to get your money back if the charge goes through. The product worked for me, although I only used it once, charge .95. But the amount of time and aggravation it took to get it straightened out was ridiculous and upsetting. A company like this doesn't deserve to be in business. I have been emailing this company for the past week since I saw the 39.99 charge and all they do is make excuses as to WHY they will NOT be refunding you. It’s extremely frustrating and emotionally exhausting.

  This company is a joke and a total scam!
  I have the same exact complaint as everyone else. I paid $0.95 to convert one document and they charged me $39.95 for 2 months after I had instructed them to cancel.

  I paid this site .95 to convert a PDF to an odd file type I needed in a pinch and they signed up my PayPal to charge me $39.95 one week later AS AN AUTOMATIC MONTHLY PAYMENT? I had to email to cancel (another red flag, why no cancel button on their site?), however they refuse to refund my payment. So it’s pretty much theft. Nothing is normal anymore. People just get scammed on all the time. This company is NOT TO BE TRUSTED. Should be called The WORST pdf bc it’s just yet another 2025 grift.

  I signed up for a trial in July 025 for a one-time $0.95 payment to convert a PDF, which I considered fair. However, without my authorization, the company charged me $39.95 on 2 times in August and 2 time in September for a subscription I never agreed to or automatic renewal. I only intended to make the initial $0.95 payment. It took me a month to figure out what the charge was for as they use a 3rd party payment processor. When I reached out for a refund they offered me 2 years free. When I expressed that I was not interested and requested a refund again. They completely stopped responding.

  My experience is the same as those described. .99 trial for a single use and then charged $39.95 for a monthly subscription I didn’t authorize . They will not refund me.

  I signed up for a trial in September 2025 for a one-time $0.95 payment to convert a PDF, which I considered fair. However, without my authorization, the company charged me $39.95 on September 7, 2025, as a monthly subscription. I never agreed to a subscription or automatic renewal. I only intended to make the initial $0.95 payment. Doing research on this company, it is clear that THEBESTPDF only responds to the Better Business Bureau requests. please give this incident your needed attention, and I greatly appreciate any assistance you may provide.
