Exactly the same experience as the review before me, with only a slight difference in price. The advertised service was: $7.99 for one week access. Nowhere visible was it stated "$7.99 for one week TRIAL and then charged $49.99 a month if not cancelled." I'm familiar with companies offering terms like that and that's not what was advertised here. Just "$7.99 for one week access." I only needed to use this for one document, so I thought sure, worth it. Then I see a charge for $49.99 a week later. When I brought up this issue with the company, explaining that these terms were not listed clearly anywhere and requesting a refund, they cancelled the service and did not agree to a refund. No one is paying $49.99 a month to merge PDFs so they're obviously banking on tricking people and making at least $42 extra on each unwitting customer (or more if you don't notice the charges right away). Dishonest and disappointing.

This company employed a bait and switch program in place. They offer a one time purchase to convert PDF files to other formats for $1.99. I chose this, only to have this purchase convert to a monthly fee of $49/mont, and auto billing my credit card. I paid my 1.99 happily, but became angry being auto subscribed to something I didn't authorize. They were more than happy to let me cancel the subscription I didn't order, but would not refund me for the monthly fee for servuces I did not order, use and the did not render. Customer service merely pointed to their "policy". Only then did I discover the number of people who have similar complaints to mine. This is consumer abuse if I ever saw it. They are banking on people not seeing the recurring charges. Now that I see that their address in the website does not coincide with a business that matches their business name I wonder if I have opened myself to identity theft. Luckily I used pay pal, but I am still worried.
