    My daughter who is under 18 was looking to convert something to PDF and unknowingly signed up for a subscription. She thought she was trying it for free and used ApplePay linked to her own ********** card. But she didn't know she was signing up for eventual subscription. I discovered this when reviewing her transactions and there had already been 2 monthly charges of $57 CAD. I contacted the company to stop the subscription and to request a refund. They canceled the subscription but refused to provide a refund. She also typed her email incorrectly so we did not have a record of the subscription anywhere.     I originally paid for a 7-day limited access to download a single PDF document. At no point was I warned that this would automatically become a subscription, the impression given by the website is that youre given one week of access for the price youre paying. However what they dont tell you is you will incur a $71.55CAD charge after the trial week. Despite confirming my subscription was cancelled, the company attempted to charge my card again after another week, incurring nsf fees. I am requesting a refund for the initial charge, as there was no clear indication that I was enrolling in a weekly subscription. This practice feels deceptive and reflects very poor business conduct. They also dont make it easy to deactivate the subscription you arent aware youre taking part of.

    At the beginning of August 2025 (I believe it was on August 3rd), I was looking for a service to convert a hand-written PDF into machine-readable form. pdfguru.com offered to try this for EUR 1.99, which I considered worth a try. I payed using ApplePay. pdfguru then - correctly - charged me EUR 1.99. A couple of days later, the Wallet app informed me that pdfguru reserved EUR ***** on my card (but had not transferred the money, yet, as far as I understood). I reached out to pdfguru.com (ticket #*******) on August 10th to inform them that while the charging of EUR 1.99 was correct, I did not buy any service for EUR *****. The same day, pdfguru.com responded that they had cancelled my "subscription" (but did not specify what kind of subscription this was supposed to be).When I received the monthly accounting report from my bank, I noticed on September 22nd that a) I was still charged EUR ***** by pdfguru.com and b) I did not get a refund. I reached out again with this complaint (ticket #*******, asking that they either refund the money or show proof that I bought something worth this amount. pdfguru's response was that they try to help me but they can't find an account with my email address.

    I saw charges in my account that i never authorised. I reached out to the vendor, they inform me it was authorised by an email account i am not aware of. I asked for a cancellation of the service and my refund but they are refusing to comply even though i have shown them when the withdrawals happen.

    I originally purchased a 7 day limited access to download one PDF document and it did not warn me I would be purchasing a subscription and would be charged $69.00 CAD after the initial week.I emailed company for a refund due to their misleading information and they refused. They also attempted to charge my card again after another 7 days after saying my subscription was cancelled but luckily it did not go through.I would like a refund for the amount that was charged as there was no indication this would be a weekly subscription. This feels very deceitful and bad business practicing.

    PDF Guru deceivingly charged my account which they claim to be free. I paid for a 1 dollar w9 form and they without proper notice charged my account 50 dollars while still claiming I have a free account. I am trying to find an option on their website under their account or billing information to manually remove my credit card but there seemingly isn't one.
