4 starsWent on a Cruise last month , my nephew forgot his back pack . My sister which is his mother called the cruise line and told her to fill out a lost item report on Chargerback. Com , so she asked me to fill it out cause it was a lot going on that day on September ******* we had just got off the cruise ship . So I wrote a detail report on what was the look of the back pack and what was in there . It takes them 7-10 days to find the item and theyll keep you update by email . When the item was find my sister had to pay for shipping which was over $50 which is crazy . The item was finally delivered through fed ex it was delay because of fed ex . Everything was in the back . My nephew birthday gift cards were missing it was two gift cards . Anyway thanks Charger back .

1 starA joke! Used it to get 3 jackets back from hotel in *********. They were left in a closet. Would have been easy for hotel personnel to locate as I called the same day to have them go to the room and obtain them. They said they would check but I needed to fill out the Chargerback info. I did that and started receiving messages that they could not locate them. They did not walk out of the room without help! I asked them to check their cameras but they did not . Hope others have better luck than I did. Wonder where all the lost items are stored? Terrible service from hotel and chargerback!

Chargerback is a lost and found software that is used by businesses in the travel, hospitality, and entertainment industries. While our system takes lost item reports, sends notifications, and accepts payment for the shipment of found items, our staff is not on-site, we do not ever physically handle the items, nor do we have a say in their status. Those duties all belong to our great partners such as the Holiday Inn Express ************************************. We did investigate this matter, which records indicate the items were left behind back in April of 2024, to the best of our ability. We can confirm, that our partner did review the lost item reports submitted by ******************, and there is no found item record matching the description of the lost items. 5 starsExceptional service. I made a substantial monetary mistake in my payment to have a watch returned that I left on a Holland America ship. Chargeback very quickly responded, corrected my mistake, and refunded the money they could have kept. It's hard to find businesses with as much integrity and prompt, extraordinarily courteous customer service representatives.Their fee can seem expensive, but when the logistics of obtaining the items, connecting with owners, and getting them shipped is considered, it is a good value, especially with expensive items. I have traveled extensively and lost a fair amount over the years, little of which I have been able to have returned to me. This service is wonderful.

5 starsIf customers would listen to the messages and read the websites, they would understand that you have to file a report with the airport, the **** and the airline if you want to cover all of your bases. My laptop was turned in over a weekend and identified by that Tuesday and shipped back immediately. The price of ***** shipping is about $50 to $125 which is not great but I am the one who lost the item not Chargerback or the airline. Much cheaper than a new laptop or a flight back to the airport to pick it up.Review fromJudy S

5 starsExcellent at what they do. These guys are merely a 3rd party that the incompetent companies utilize to get your lost property back to you. The incompetent companies are the ones that should be covering the costs that you incur from the shipping. So do like I did and call the incompetent company and let them know you will contact the authorities (a.k.a. local police) and file a theft report when they inform you they have recovered your lost item and are holding it now for a ****** (a.k.a. shipping charge). The incompetent company escalates the situation and I was compensated for the charges. :) and I'm getting my lost item back. It's unfortunate to have to go through it but again CHARGERBACK isn't the enemy. They are quick to update and inform.Review fromDavis A

We are pleased to inform you that we have successfully recovered ****************** lost jacket with the help of our partner, Air Canada. However, we would like to clarify our role in this process. Chargerback is a lost and found software that is utilized by various organizations in the travel, hospitality, and entertainment industries. We are not present on-site and we do not physically handle the lost items. Moreover, we do not have any control over their status, including the cost of shipping.According to our records, ************** paid a total of CAD $161.08, which is equivalent to USD ****** via ******************* Economy. This is approximately $93 less than what is claimed in Mr. ****** below customer review. For comparison, if ************** had shipped his jacket through ***** using the rack rate, the cost would have been CAD $208.28, which is equivalent to USD $154.38.Therefore, we are happy to inform you that ************** actually received a discounted shipping rate, and we hope this information clears up any confusion regarding our role in the lost and found processReview fromAnnoyed A

1 starThis company DOES NOT read anything and will give you a BLANKET, GENERAL reply everytime ??. I said my items have been found and need chargeback to coordinate with UA to get them back to me. They reply every 48hrs with we are still looking for your items THEYVE BEEN FOUND! READ READ READ THE REMARKS BOX! INCOMPETENT lol

We have checked our system and we do not find that a lost report or any activity for someone with the email address of *********************** Please ask this person to provide more details including the Lost Report ID number and the email address they used to file a lost report with us. Their name that was used to file the report would also be helpful. We would like to help this person but we need the above information to do so. 5 starsThis was an exceptional experience. From the gentleman that called me from American Airlines after I reported my phone lost at the airport on Monday to getting it returned to me on Tuesday so beautifully packaged! Thank you so much and I think the price of $57 to fed ex my phone was super reasonable with the speed and care they took for my carelessness in leaving my phone behind. I must say it was a nice break for 2 days to find other ways to communicate.Again, very impressed with the process and ease and I have so much faith in humanity and appreciate whoever took the time to bring it to lost and found! Overflowing with gratitude!

1 starThis company is a scam. Shipping is marked up tremendously and not guaranteed!!! Ive been waiting on an item that was select at Six Flags on 6/22, found that night. Took 4 days for this company to get me the shipping information. I paid the only option of $53 for two day ***** and Im waiting TWO full weeks later for the tracking to say more than waiting on item. You cannot take a payment of you cannot back up your process!!!! I want a refund!!!! I have message yeh company and not gotten any options for getting my money back. Of six flags is not upholding their end, then chargerback needs to refund the money taken from customers. Its just bad business.

1 starI left a phone at an airport gate and had no option for reporting it other than Chargerback online forms. My phone had tracking on it, I knew exactly where it was, but this site never notified the airport of my missing item report. I get constant emails that my item was not found, even though it had been turned in to a Lost and Found desk at the terminal. I was able to have my phone sent back to me after 10 days and apparently Chargerback doesnt bother to actually forward our reports to the venues. I find it reprehensible that the airlines pay for this bogus service. I was fortunate that there were kind, honest people involved and I was able to have my phone returned intact, while still getting notified by Chargerback that theirsearch teams cannot locate my lost item.

Based on the information provided by ****************, it seems as though her phone was never in the possession of our partner, American Airlines, but rather the airport itself, which does not use our software. If our partner American Airlines, had her phone, she would have received notifications from AA through the Chargerback software on how to have her phone returned.We do invite **************** to reach out to our support team at ********************************** and we would be happy to investigate the matter.
