    This company is worthless. A valet at the hotel I stayed at thought I accidentally left my phone in the car. He didnt know it was a work phone that I had left there for the weekend on purpose.After realizing the situation the hotel had someone from Chargerback pick the phone up. I paid $63 for overnight shipping. It has been 3 business days since the hotel gave them my device and still no update. Neither the hotel nor ***** know where the phone is and chargerback is unreachable. I have tried emailing and calling multiple times. It is likely I have missed hundreds of phone calls at this point and potentially hundreds of thousands of dollars in sales. If you have a hotel please for the love of god, do not put your guests through this. I know I will never return to the hotel that put me in this situation.

While our system takes lost item reports, sends notifications, and accepts payment for the shipping of found items, our staff is not on-site, we do not physically handle the items, nor do we have a say in their status. If Mr. ****** can provide us with the email address that was used to file the lost report, we will immediately continue our investigation.

    Lost My ID + CC after a day of troublesome travel from ********* ** 2:30 AM in 3 possible places in the large *************************** Arrival and Rental Car area on 10/16/2025 Thought it was a lost cause to attempt a lost and found. Sent a claim today 10/17/25 at noon, and received a text that both my ID and CC were ********************** within 30 min!! Was able to pay immediately for an expedited shipping to my hotel in ***** right away. Im in tears for how ***** has my back in working things out always, and so thankful to all the people and this platform for making it happen on the ground!!!

    To say this company is useless is being generous! They are slow in their response, and I doubt very much that they even put any effort in locating your item(s)especially if it is of lesser value! Im guessing they care about expensive items so they can over charge you to have it returned. In my case it was a pair prescription sunglassesfront desk of hotel confirmed they found my glasses, but I had to report through this incompetent company. After three weeks they informed me they couldnt locate the glasses.

    We had two separate Support Specialists look into Mr. ******** complaint. Below are both responses and to the benefit of Mr. ******* We kindly request that Mr. ****** retract his negative review. While Chargerback is the software used by the property to enter lost and found items, our goal is that our software allows for all individuals to be reunited with their items. We have reached out to the property where you stayed, and they advised they do in fact have your prescription sunglasses. They will be reaching out to you shortly to provide you with options to have your item returned to you. Again, we are very sorry to hear about your troubles but are hopeful that you will be able to receive your glasses back shortly.#2 Hello, we are very sorry to hear of Mr. ******* complaint.     The charge to ship my kindle back would be $45. Absolutely price gouging. Use **** so consumers can afford to get their items back. This is absolutely price gouging.

    Terrible terrible terrible is all i can say, they do not reply or send emails in a timely manner. My boyfriends luggage is still missing at ***********. This site is a scam i dont think he will get his stuff back. ***************** is a** DONT FLY CLT UNLESS YOU WANT YOUR CHECKED LUGGAGE MISSING.

    Hi ****,
    We are very sorry to hear of the trouble your boyfriend is having locating his luggage, however Chargerback does not handle checked baggage for CLT or American Airlines. Chargerback handles Left on Board or left at the gate, lost items. If this was checked luggage that was lost, you would need to reach out to the airport and/or American Airlines to make a lost luggage claim with their luggage service company. As you did not provide the Chargerback ID number, or your boyfriend’s name or email address when a lost report was filed, we are not able to do further research on his lost luggage. If you would kindly provide this information, we can pursue this for you and him.

    I had a lost item issue with a hotel that used Chargerback for their lost and found. Even though the hotel failed to ship my item, Chargerback went above and beyond. ***** *******, their Founder and CFO, personally took responsibility and resolved the issue - even though the issue wasnt their fault directly.This level of integrity, care, and customer support is rare. ********************** handled it with transparency and professionalism every step of the way. Im happy to leave this review to support a business that takes its reputation and responsibility seriously.Theyve earned my respect and recommendation.

    Would be nice if you'd actually send an email. Regular emails my a** Haven't seen one since 12/23/24. Lost a $3000 headpiece on ******. Still haven't found anything.

Regarding the topic of regular email updates, we can confirm that Mr. ***** received auto email updates on 12/10, 12/12, 12/16, and as mentioned 12/23. The next update should be sent to him later this week. If Mr. ***** is not receiving these emails, they may be filtered to his spam or junk folder. Finally, we can confirm that our partner, ******, has reviewed Mr. ****** lost item report multiple times, but unfortunately, they have not been able to locate his item.If Mr. ***** has any additional questions, he may reach out to our partner support team at *****************************************

    Lest a watch in a Hotel at *************. Called the Hotel staff within ************************************************************************************************************************** Since the national park is associated with Charger Back the only way is to fill out a form online. I was not allowed to return and pick up my item. Total lack of costumer service.

After receiving the below complaint, we did a thorough review of the matter and can see that Mr. ******* did file a lost report through the Chargerback software. If his item is found, our partner will send Mr. ******* return options to retrieve his item.     Sent in a detailed report of where I lost the wallet on my cruise and the exact contents alongside with what address should be on the license inside. Received an email stating it was found and requested over $270 to have it shipped back to me from *****. I begrudgingly paid it because I did not want to have to deal with replacing the many cards inside and the expensive wallet itself. Paid the fee and was told a shipping label was made, but two weeks pass and it still was not shipped out. Later contacted by a family friend we had visited that they had found my wallet below a seat in their car. So this company charged me for shipping a wallet that they did not have in their possession and never intended to send to me in the first place. Terrible business practice.

After receiving the below complaint, we and our partner, did a thorough review of the matter and were able to recall the shipment, and issued Mr. ******** a full refund of the shipping price. We are delighted to know he was able to find his wallet.Addressing the issue of the delay in shipment, due to the logistics of the cruise line industry, it may take a few weeks for a found item to be shipped out due to it still being aboard the ship while it is at sea. Once the cruise liner docks at a port it can ship from, the package is mailed out

    Went on a Cruise last month , my nephew forgot his back pack . My sister which is his mother called the cruise line and told her to fill out a lost item report on Chargerback. Com , so she asked me to fill it out cause it was a lot going on that day on September ******* we had just got off the cruise ship . So I wrote a detail report on what was the look of the back pack and what was in there . It takes them 7-10 days to find the item and theyll keep you update by email . When the item was find my sister had to pay for shipping which was over $50 which is crazy . The item was finally delivered through fed ex it was delay because of fed ex . Everything was in the back . My nephew birthday gift cards were missing it was two gift cards . Anyway thanks Charger back .
