The legal letter from REMOVEDdescribes the situation perfectly and the 2 documents I scanned were the only contract. I would very much like to get my deposit money back. The installer called me about a week or two ago to install and I had no idea where he wanted to install the windows. I was shown an up and down window and not sliding windows. The contract is not specific. At this point I would settle for the sliding glass door for my $5K although this is very overpriced for this 5' sliding glass window. I priced wood windosws at REMOVEDand for larger and top of the line they are around that price. I feel like I was swindled and also know that I s hould have canceled the check when it was looking fishy. I am old REMOVEDit all happened so fast it took me by surprise.

We have already provided all requested documentation regarding this matter to the appropriate parties, including the REMOVED. Additionally, our legal counsel has been in communication with your attorney regarding the claims you have raised and the contractual obligations associated with this project. The reality is that a legally executed contract does not become unenforceable simply because one party later decides they no longer wish to proceed. In reliance on the signed agreement, custom products were ordered and manufacturing costs were incurred. These are products specifically made for your home and cannot simply be returned or resold once production has begun.
Despite this, we made efforts to accommodate your concerns, including removing one of the windows from the project at your request. However, there comes a point where modifications are no longer possible once materials have been ordered and contractual obligations have been acted upon. We have maintained extensive documentation regarding the signed agreement, change requests, product ordering, project timeline, and communications related to this matter. As this dispute is currently being handled through legal counsel, we will continue to direct all further communications through the attorneys representing both parties.
