So I had an extremely disappointing experience at the Float Spa today for my birthday. I left the establishment incredibly upset, frustrated, and feeling completely disrespected by their employee's unprofessional behavior and the conditions I encountered. I also left crying. From the beginning, the employee's attitude was rude and unwelcoming. She acted as though I should already know everything and made a comment along the lines of, "Oh, I thought you'd been here multiple times." For clarification, this was only my SECOND visit in over a YEAR. Rather than welcoming me and politely explaining anything I needed to know, she made me feel like an inconvenience. Once I entered the float pod, the earplugs would not stay in place, causing the salt water to get into my ears and start burning. Additionally, the water was EXTREMELY COLD, making the experience uncomfortable and impossible to enjoy. I was unable to continue and exited the pod after approximately TWO MINUTES. I was informed that the employee had spoken with the manager and that I would receive a 50% discount. However, I was still expected to pay $47 for TWO MINUTES in a float pod that I could not comfortably use. To me, a 50% discount is not an accepatable resolution. I did not leave early because I simply changed my mind or decided I did not want the service. I left because the experience was physically uncomfortable, the earplugs would not stay in, the salt water was burning my ears, and the water was extremely cold. I never received a call or response from the manager, even after several attempts to contact them via email and by phone. They still made me pay $47 for 2 minutes in the pod. I sent a complaint email to the manager and requested a full refund. Nonetheless, I had a horrible experience.

    Dear Better Business Bureau,
We appreciate the opportunity to respond to this complaint and address our clients concerns regarding her experience at our float spa.
We sincerely regret that the clients visit did not meet her expectations, particularly on her birthday. We understand the importance of providing every client with a welcoming, relaxing, and positive experience, and we are sorry that we fell short on this occasion.
After receiving the clients concerns, our management team contacted her directly, apologized for her experience and the delay in our response, and submitted a full refund for the one-hour float session, including applicable taxes, totaling $47.89. The refund was requested to the original REMOVEDpayment method, and the client was advised of the anticipated processing time.
We also informed the client that we would review the situation with the Float Consultant involved and use the feedback as a learning opportunity to reinforce our customer service standards and improve the experience we provide to our clients.
Our goal is to ensure that every client feels respected, valued, and cared for throughout their visit. We take feedback seriously and remain committed to continuous improvement.
We appreciate the opportunity to address this matter and hope that our response and refund demonstrate our sincere commitment to resolving the clients concerns.
    Sincerely,
    Management
