I've had Redline come out to service my refrigerated air conditioner 3 times each year since 2017 because my AC was not putting out cold air. I didn't know that it was a 'closed loop system' until talking with friends who said I should never need refrigerant added yearly. When I had them come out the 3rd time, I explained there must be leak or something so they conducted a "leak test" by putting in dye. The end result: "No leaks found", and they added more refrigerant. The next year, same thing--no cold air blowing! I contacted a different company who came out and added more refrigerant and was told there may be a leak but couldn't determine it unless they inspected the coil and they couldn't do that because they couldn't access it due to the way the framing around the AC was done. Redline never inspected the coil either nor did they even suggest it might be the coil. Additionally, Redline mechanics never even expressed that my AC shouldn't be needing refrigerant every year. This year (2021), I called Redline again and told the receptionist my issue of having refrigerant added yearly when it shouldn't happen on a closed system. She told me that Julian would call me back on Monday as he'd left already (Friday). I never rec'vd a call from him nor anyone from Redline. I advise anyone not to deal with this company as they're not reliable and do not fix underlying issues properly.
