My two children and I began training at Dynamic Taekwondo when the US Air Force stationed me at Kirtland Air Force Base, New Mexico in 2018. We choose Dynamic Taekwondo because they were certified by the governing body of Taekwondo called Kukkiwon. After training for 3-4 years when you achieve a Black Belt, the school must submit your documents to Kukkiwon to be approved and certified as a Black Belt in Taekwondo. In Sep 2021, my two children and I tested and earned our Black Belt. I paid the testing fee of $1,500 ($500 for each), took passport photos, and gave everything to the owner, Kerry E**** to have our packages submitted to Kukkiwon. Kerry E**** communicated with me until February of 2022 where she stopped responding to emails. I was assured that our packages would be submitted it Kukkiwon but might be delayed due to COVID. However, I contacted Kukkiwon and they have no record of receiving our packages. I am not requesting a refund for the thousands of dollars I spent in tuition for the 3+ years we trained at Dynamic Taekwondo. I'm only requesting a repayment of the Black Belt testing fees of $1,500. I've asked this in emails and I've attempted to call the location with no success. I am still active duty Air Force and I had to move for military orders in January 2022, therefore I can't go there in person to try and resolve this problem. I am working with a new Taekwondo School at my new duty location and they will be resubmitting us to Kukkiwon, but they also have a fee that I will be responsible to pay.
