    Went to do for a rebuild of a Dell XPS 8950. Once all parts were included and installed. Computer would not start up properly. I called and spoke to REMOVEDdescribing the issues that I was having with the computer. How much for a computer diagnosis alone. At first thought I heard him to say $55.00. REMOVEDwent to correct me until I understood it would be $65.00 as we both came to an agreement. I took the computer to REMOVEDshowing him some things about the computer. He tried a few things until he started to take the computer apart. Then he showed me some bent pins on the CPU Socket that were causing the problem. Told me that the Motherboard would need replacing. So we go to finish up, paying for the diagnosis. He charges me $85.00 plus Tax which came to $91.49. I tell him that he told me $65.00 plus Tax. He tells me that he is adding $20.00 for a phone consultation. Again my main reason for calling REMOVEDwas to ask about the cost of a computer diagnosis.

    PC Magic Pro manager refunded me $21.53 for overcharge. I found that acceptable. He told me not to call him or to go to his store. I replied that it would be no problem. There are other places to go. Honestly, from the time he overcharged me, I knew that I would not be going back.
