      Quest's billing system, is wihout question, the WORST on God's green earth! Impossible to speak to a person, unbelievably long hold times, complety baffling system that NEVER gets issues resolved! You cannot understand or decipher the invoices and if you hit the lottery and finally are able to speak to a human, that are compeletly robotic and indifferant.

      I called Quest to retrieve my test results on 12/4/25 as my doctor reached out to me and let me know they were giving her a hard time. I was informed by the lady on the phone that her name was not listed on the requisition form, which is why they gave her a difficult time, although the copy of the requisition form that was given on day of my appointment had both her name and NPI # listed. I did not receive the results via email on 12/4, although the lady said it was sent, which promoted me to call back today, 12/5. From there, I called the number that REMOVEDhad listed for my local Quest Diagnostics to which I had to hang up and call back 8 times because the options that patients can choose ('2' for test results, '6' for patients) were disconnected and didn't work. I eventually got connected to a lady who was helpful and was able to help me retrieve my results. I asked the helpful lady to transfer me to someone who could assist in ensuring the options that patients can choose are updated. I re-explained the situation to the lady I was transferred to and she let me know about the 866 number that patients should call, said the 866 number is listed on the website, and that REMOVEDisn't something that is updated regularly. She discouraged me from calling the number currently listed ending in 1170, although that number is listed for the location I went to on the Quest website under location search. But nonetheless, the form DID have my doctor's information on it, but, the ordering provider listed on my blood work could be the doctor above her, as the helpful lady explained. I am submitting this complaint because as the patient, I was brought into the confusion and shamed for asking questions. The last lady I spoke with tried to deflect and shift the blame, even with us both acknowledging that humans make mistakes, and inevitably hung up the phone on me without properly ending the call. The call was recorded.

      Staff is great. Problem is getting bloodwork test results. Has been over a REMOVEDthere is no phone number available to talk to someone. So I have sent in a request online 3 times so far with zero response. They just don't care when people are already dealing with stressing because of health issues. Beyond frustrating

      Over the course of the last several months I've had 3 appointments canceled on me last minute between 2 Quest locations. Then, a third location I showed up to get blood drawn and no one was there during hours they were supposed to be there. This was inside a doctors office and there was supposed to be a phlebotomists there but they were running late, this was mid morning. Then a few weeks later I come back again to get these labs done and they completed only one of the orders. I cannot even begin to state how unreliable Quest Diagnostics is. When you need to get labs done in the morning or within a specific window of time and cannot rely on multiple locations, which would be three in this case, something is truly wrong with this company. It's a considerable amount of stress and wasted time trying to get important labs done that took far longer than it should have. What's worse is in a past visit they drew blood from me for labs for another person, then realized it after and had to redraw more blood, it was an insane amount of blood drawn from me that day. Their service cannot be relied upon at all and quite frankly Quest is a danger in my opinion given these experiences.

      On Nov 19 in REMOVED, REMOVEDa horrible-technician was very rude to me while drawing blood-not willing to loosen the strap on my arm, which was pinched with the tie. He stared me down, and refused to loosen it, until I insisted. After done, I politely tried to suggest my skin was pinched, whereupon he corrected me that THIS IS HOW ITS DONE. When home, I see a huge black & blue REMOVEDon my arm. Photo available.

      Just had a horrific disrespectful encounter that I havent had in over 8 years. I walked in to take a simple drug test with my donor pass in hand. REMOVEDwas extremely rude and upset off the bat for no reason. I simply asked her for help in needing clarification as to why she WOULD NOT see me since I didnt have an appointment supposedly. I didnt argue with her but simply told her to calm down and I was trying to show her with my phone the donor pass and my emails. Which specifically says ARRIVE ONE HOUR before closing to ensure testing may be completed. In which I arrived a hour and half before. She would not give an exact reason or any explanation on how to set up an exact time on when to come in the future. She threatened me that she would call my employer when I asked for her first and last name. She was yelling the whole times especially when I called her out for being extremely disrespectful and aggressive toward me. This lady needs to be removed immediately as another co worker/manager of mine that is African American like myself had the same encounter today as well 11/18/2025

      I was scheduled to take a drug test in REMOVEDat Quest. It was closed today on a Saturday. So I scheduled for REMOVED. Showed up, and they couldn't transfer my test over to the REMOVEDlocation, but they advertise differently. I drove 2 hours for nothing. There were no clear instructions, and all help lines are closed on the weekends.The biggest issue was that it was not stated anywhere, that there would be an issue regarding testing at alternative locations. If I had known that I needed to only visit a specific location, it should've been clear.This is failure on Quest and First Advantage. They obviously don't care about wasting people's time.

      Quest Diagnostics continues to bill me & sent me to a collection agency over $38.37 that I paid. I paid this with the 1st statement electronically through my bank. I have sent them proof of payment via email 3 times. They continues to pursue the payment again.

      I have not personally had a bad experience at Quest, but my boyfriend works for this terrible company, and I have some things I would like to say, if only to drive other potential employees away so they don't have to deal with the same thing. My boyfriend has worked for Quest in REMOVEDfor years, and he is a beloved phlebotomist. People rave about him. He worked as a Float and was paid more specifically for being in a role that moved around to different sites almost daily. He recently decided to take a demotion so that he would be stationed at one site rather than having to move around constantly. Immediately after accepting the role, he gets pulled to a different site. He asked about it and was told by his (completely incompetent and absolutely abysmal) managers that it should only happen on "super special occasions". Well, it keeps happening, with no explanations. He does not feel like he can go to HR because the HR team actively retaliates against employees despite the non-retaliation clause. He can't go to his supervisors because they are all in cahoots with one another and will "target" him to push him out. He is looking for other jobs, but that is besides the point. I am fed up with hearing about this place. If you value your employees at all, you will completely gut and restructure the Indianapolis Quest phlebotomy HR and managerial department. What a joke.

      The clinic in REMOVEDCA on REMOVEDhave great staff. REMOVEDspecially is always patient and professional. My family and I travel half an hour from where we live, although theres one closer to us in REMOVED, because we never bruise when the staff at REMOVEDdraws our blood.
