My name is *****************, my ETS ID is ********, and my email is ************************* Due to the pandemic, many offline centers were closed in the second half of year 2022. Considering the deadline for application approaching, I took my GRE At Home Test on Nov 15th, 2022. During the the whole process, I passed all the security check, respected the rules and was confirmed all good by the proctors. I have sent many emails and called my analytist who were responsible for reviewing my test score, waiting several hours online and yet have gotten no responses and reason for the review. Now the situation is desperately URGENT, as the deadline for my application is THIS WEEK and I have missed many applications due to the slow reviewing process! I trully hope you understand how painstaking the process of an appliction is, which entails years of accummulation of research and output. ALL I need is the GRE result! I believe that ETS can equally play a role as the bridge between the education institution and people furthering for knowledge, but rather the gap between them. Therefore, I request the ETS to please assign an analyst to reply me and release my score ASAP, so as not to miss the deadline THIS WEEK.

My name is *****************, and my email address is ********************** My date of birth is 11/17/2000 and my ETS id is ********. I took my TOEFL iBT test( Registration Number: **************** ) on December 17th, 2022 at the testing center, but unfortunately my score is still "HOLD" until now. I dont know what happened! I'm sure I followed the rules of the exam. I didn't do anything cheating during the test. I have been waiting for my scores over 5 weeks, and I have sent emails to TSReturns. They didn't provide me anything about the reason that my test at the TEST CENTER is hold and couldn't answer the question that when can I receive the score. I want to know a date I can rely upon to get my expected score. I really need this score because the application deadline for my dream school is VERY CLOSE! I understand ETS's concern of fairness, but their random act hurt my right as an honest test taker and ruined all my plannings. I hope they can speed up the process by giving me a fixed date and releasing the score AS SOON AS POSSIBLE!

I was scheduled to take ESOL Praxis on January 18th. The only times I could test at a center were in the middle of the day, and I am a teacher so it's hard to just take off. So I decided to do Praxis at home. I do not have stable internet at home so I needed to take it at my school once everyone had left, in a private space. I contacted ProctorU before registering for my exam and they remoted into my computer and told me they could access all the settings they needed to access and that I was good for test day. Fastfoward to the day of the test and the ******* could not access a setting and when she logged me into the ETS software I got an alert that I needed to call ETS. I have tried calling ETS multiple times and get different answers each time I call. The most recent was that I would have to wait 4-6 weeks to be able to do anything. I paid 170 dollars for this exam and do not know if I'm getting it back or not. I need this exam to be taken very soon so that I can obtain certification in english as a second language. Now I do not know if I will meet the deadline. ETS is contributing to the teacher shortage. In most states Praxis is required to get your certification. Candidate ID#: ********

I am rejecting this response because:

I'm not sure what scores are on hold since I was not afforded the opportunity to even see one question on the test. I need to be able to reschedule my test so that I can apply for a job in February.  I don't need my scores released since I wasn't even able to take the exam. I do need a refund of the 170 dollars I spent on an exam that I could not take even with steps to ensure I could take it.

      Dear ***************************,

We were notified by the Better Business Bureau that you rejected our response regarding your January 18, 2023, test administration.  We must strictly enforce the policies and procedures we have in place as test security is very important to the Praxisprogram.  As indicated on the Praxis Test at-home website, test takers are to follow all testing rules including you must disable any screen-sharing or remote-access software prior to testing otherwise, scores are cancelled without a refund.  Please familiarize yourself with test procedures before taking any other tests administered by ETS and ensure you dont have any unauthorized software running on your device.  Violation of test procedures may result in score cancellation, and repeated violations may result in your exclusion from future testing.

We have forwarded your concern to the Program for additional review.

I took my GRE test on Jan.7th and on Jan. 23th I was emailed that my score was under administrative review. It bothered me too much as this arrangement messed up my whole plan. My application season is coming and now the score has been hold, I had to have the score before Feb.18th to assist with my application. But with the additional review, I could hardly get my score by this date. I did nothing violating any rule during the exam, but why I need to experience this? This review is totally unfair and could ruin ones application season and even future. I really need the score by the mid February. And I really hope someone could help me with this. Please give me my score. My test appointment number is ****************

My name is ************************* and my Registration Number is *******, my email is ********************** Due to the pandemic, many offline centers are being closed in the second half of 2022. Considering that the deadline to apply for PHD is approaching, I took two GRE At Home exams on October 19, 2022 and November 29, 2022. The first test was cancelled due to internet issues, but the second test I was very well prepared for, I passed all the security checks, followed the rules, and got confirmation from the ******* that everything was fine. However, my score was still "not available". Since ETS informed me via email that my scores were being reviewed, I chose to wait patiently, but until now, two months had passed and considering the PHD ********* I chose to call OTI and waited for hours online without any reply or progress of review. Whatever the case may be, I am way past the normal review time and the efficiency of ETS in releasing my results has caused me a lot of trouble. It's a very urgent situation now because the deadline for my PhD application is this week! I really hope you can understand how difficult the process of applying for a PhD is, and how it takes years of research and accumulation of results. Right now, pretty much everything - publications, research plans, timelines, budgets, etc. All I needed were GRE scores. I took the **** and IELTS a few years ago for my master's application, and their scoring process was transparent, efficient, and responsive, and IELTS was a very timely feedback experience even in the reconsideration process. I believe that ETS can likewise act as a bridge between educational institutions and advanced learners, rather than creating a gap between them. Therefore, I request that ETS assign an analyst to get back to me and post my scores as soon as possible so that I do not miss the deadline this week.

I took the Praxis test 5624 PLT grades. 7-12 on December 31, 2022. My Candidate ID number is ********* ****** ****  During the test the electricity and the internet went out at the facility where I was taking the test. Electricity was soon restored, but the internet took around 12-15 minutes to be restored.
I called ETS-Praxis and they did allow me to resume the test, but a large number of minutes was taken from the minutes remaining. This caused me to 'rush' through the remainder of the test and I was not able to think well and because they took the remainder time out, I was not able to understand questions and provide accurate answers. I feel I was cheated the of the full test time I should have had, the time I paid for to take this test.

      Dear ****** ******,

We were notified by the Business Better Business (BBB) of
your complaint regarding your December 31, 2022, test administration for the Principles
of Learning and Teaching (5624) Exam. A thorough investigation was completed for
      the At-Home test administration.

Be advised that the timing of the test is built in the test
package; therefore, when the test stops, the timing also stops.  The test stopped due to Internet connectivity
caused by the test taker’s personal browser. ETS is not responsible for the
Internet used on the test taker’s computer in at At-Home setting.  Furthermore, when reviewed, it was confirmed that
the test taker was able to begin where the test went down.  The time did not expire.  The test taker ended the exam after
completing at length with time remaining.  The exam was fully completed and submitted for scoring and
      reporting.

It is important to be reminded that if you are
not satisfied with the administration of the test admin, you should cancel the
incomplete test without reporting the score and contact us immediately
regarding the issue.  At the end of the exam, test takers are given
the option to report or cancel the test.  If the test is accepted, the test taker is agreeing to the conditions
and is requesting that the test is scored and be reported.  Otherwise, if the test taker does not want
the test, the opportunity is given to cancel the test immediately for a review
      and possibly, a new registration.
      We
regret that we are unable to cancel this test admin since the test is already completed
      and the score is reported.

      Best
      wishes in your professional endeavors.

      Regards,
      TTA/Praxis

      Complaint: ********

I am rejecting this response because:

ETS/Praxis did not reset the time to the original time. That is totally false.   ETS also did not offer to cancel the score and let me retake the test free when the electric and internet went out.

I am asking for ETS Praxis to allow me to perform a free retake of this test to make up for time lost.

      Regards,

I took the GRE General Test on October 23rd. My score was released on November 1st and then becomes unavailable when I logged back on January 5th. I contacted the ********************** and they said the score is under administrative review. I passed all security checks and took the test under CCTVs WITHOUT ANY VIOLATION of the exam rule. I have my deadlines in January, and I have already missed two. Until now, all my inquiries about the review progress have been met with perfunctory template responses. I have no idea how far the case has been processed and when the review can be completed. Its been EIGHT weeks now, and nothing has come back. I have Deadlines in January! Please get back ASAP, Thank you!
