    THE WORST!!!!!!
    Their customer service is talking to a call center, somewhere on the other side of the earth!
    I have a list of attempts at trying to get someone to talk to me about extending my lease, but they would either put me on hold or hang up on me.So I have proof in a screenshot.
    I went to the turn in the rental car at the Newark location. I requested a copy of the three contracts for my rental car and was told by some guy out in the parking lot that he would go tell the manager. I then, saw the manager come out.And I asked him for the copies, and he said he would get them to. I waited until I had to get on the shuttle bus to the airport and still the manager was wasting time and doing anything but giving me the contract copies!
    They don't tell you all of the pricing until after you sign the paperwork, then they go back and tell you an additional cost.
    Now i'm waiting to see how long it takes for me to get my two hundred dollar deposit on the car, which is nowhere on any of the paperwork that I have in my hand which was what was sent to me online.But nothing in hard copy.
    This is a scammer company, and I would suggest even though their prices might be cheap.........

    Sales pressure attempting to over sell customers on car insurance during check-in. My vehicle had service issues, bad frontend steering tie rods. The vehicle had 50k miles and the cars radio didn't function, every channel with static. I called their customer service line twice with no resolution nor any follow-up calls. Just an overall bad experience.

    Car was OK. Location of agency very in convenient: dangerous shuttle pick up spot for women at night. I was 2 hours late because of flight delay and my rental was cancelled but manager resolved. THIS AGENCY IS NOT AT EWR AIRPORT WHERE THERE ARE 20 OTHER CAR RENTAL AGENCIES.

    Horrible! Over priced , scammed after paying for package to cover fuel, tolls and insurance. 3 weeks later still getting charges on my credit card. Tried to discuss and got hung up on. This company should be handled by attorneys, as they are committing credit card fraud.

    Disappointing experience.
    I booked a Full-Size SUV (Chevrolet Tahoe or similar) in advance and was really looking forward to it. After waiting over an hour in line, I was told they only had a Chevrolet Traverse, which is a Standard SUV, not what I reserved or paid for.
    No price adjustment was offered, and I had no choice but to take it since my friends were waiting. The “great deal” turned out to be misleading. I rent cars often, but I won’t be coming back to ACE.

    This company is a total scam. Getting to their location requires a bus, train, and shuttle van, taking over an hour just to arrive. Once there, you’ll wait in line for another hour because the employees are clearly trained to drag out the process and aggressively upsell their own insurance.

    They also demand an unreasonable amount of paperwork if you plan to use your own insurance, clearly designed to frustrate you into buying theirs — preying especially on elderly customers.

    The car we were given had over 73,000 miles, made a constant rattling noise, and had multiple service lights on, including low tire pressure. It felt unsafe the entire time.

    To make matters worse, after returning the vehicle — in the same condition we received it — Drivo added a surprise $150 “cleaning fee” out of nowhere, right after I told them they should not be renting out an unsafe car.

    This company’s business practices are deceptive and unethical. Do not rent from Drivo. They should not be allowed to operate.

    They had us stranded with a car that broke down at the end of a night and did not attempt to help us. We had to call AAA for help (we paid out of pocket) and then they did not honor their word to exchange change the car. Triple A told us there was evidence the car had recent electrical issues and a force start was done in the car recently. Drivo gave us the wrong address 3 times (yes 3 different addresses were given), gave us the run around at midnight and it was closed by the time we found it. Their own staff is out of state and didn’t know where their office was and couldn’t give us proper directions. It was an absolute disaster with wasting 5 hours trying to get back to the hotel in a car that could turn off at any moment. It was bait and switch as we booked with ACE through Expedia and ended up with a reservation with Drivo and given a car that broke down on the first day we took it out.

    Wish I would have read the negative reviews first. They are correct. The price is great, however they do not disclose that paper insurance cards are not acceptable. You must have their QR code connect to your insurance policy or buy their insurance which is an additional $200. There was nowhere else to go if we had canceled on the spot as the location is far from the airport and other agencies. I would recommend not renting from here pay a little bit extra and go with the company that is well known..

    Awful! Don’t rent from them. They hold $500 for a deposit and you don’t get it for 4 weeks!!!! Insanity!!

    They tell you your own insurance don’t cover rental lies they charged me 30$ a day when I called my insurance and showed I had full coverage including rental - they did not refund me after disputing the charges when I showed all my proof I had full coverage , horrible experience renting a car from this dealer . They refunded me 100 I asked about the other 50 said they can only refund me and is allowed to refund me 100 . Excuse sir you charged me 150 for 5 days . He walked away and said that’s all he can refund . Never again will I rent a car from this merchant . I requested for another manager to call me nothing .
