      I also do not understand how this company can be rated A+. I spent nearly three months contacting Leafguard attempting to get them to clean a blocked gutter. They finally came, significantly after their appointed time when I was not at home, and did not do any cleaning. Yesterday I cleared the clogged downspout in about 20 minuted.

      We purchased LeafGuard gutters a couple of years ago for our primary residence. As one of their customers, my complaint concerns the companys lack of professionalism and seeming inability to adequately follow up with customer concerns. For the past three months I have spoken with representatives from ** regarding a small replacement part that we need and to schedule an appointment to look at an area that is leaking. ** has made four (4) separate appointments to send a representative to our home with the replacement part and to inspect the leak, and each time no one has showed up or called to reschedule. We have received nothing but lip service from **, and after reading other customers reviews, Im doubtful were going to be able to get any resolution. Based on recent reviews, LGs BBB rating should definitely be much lower because ** is incapable of providing professional follow up service to its existing customers. I am very disappointed with *********************** disregard for its existing customers and l give them an F for their non-service to its existing customers. Buyers Beware.

      I am very dissatisfied with the claims the company makes, and yet we now face even worse issues. We reached out to LeafGuard to get a quote for installing gutters and redirecting water away from the foundation and the house. The "irrigation expert" who came out to look at the house pointed out all the obvious signs of why we have gutters. This was fine because we understand you need to explain why to some customers. What was concerning was his promises. "Never clogs", "Check the leaf guard port and call us", and my favorite "These help move x amount of water per minute". We bought this house, and it has had no gutters on the house. We had no issues besides water dripping over the edge of the shingles and puddling up, and just not going in the right direction. Now with the gutters installed, we have more water pooling up in a single location. I have cut my hand on the leaf guard port, and we have multiple leaks from the leaf guard ports, facia boards, and gutters themselves. So far, I would not recommend the headache from this company. The "never clog" is a myth, and you are better spending quality money on a good set of K-style gutters (at close to half, maybe even cheaper) and just maintaining them.Austin *****

      I've never encountered such a lack of professionalism. Their sales person spoke like he was in a boys high school locker room, was swearing and talking about his anger management issues, referring to previous clients as "a total prick", but the icing on the cake was his recalling a concert that he attended where "there were 2 chicks on stage eating each other out" and how the whole concert turned into a big ****. Aside from being completely repulsed by this guy, his quote was over $20,000, so when he got us a "deal" and was able to give a discounted price of $13k it felt like we weren't being taken advantage of. *********.

      Really disappointed in this company. Job not completed and I have called several times since May. I informed sales *** that my deck was bad and if they could not complete the job I would wait to get deck ***laced. He assured me they could, well when the ********** came, they sold me on the same lie. They waited until after they put most of the gutters up to say they couldn't finish but wanted me to call and reschedule. Everyone was told in advance that the deck was not stable so not to start job if they couldn't complete as I was not paying for a incomplete job. Well they did the job still and left deck area incomplete. After calling every week they came back out once because I was going to be fined from my HOA as there was a gutter hanging by the deck. The salesman and the 1st ********** tried to get me to use their company to ***lace my deck and they wanted as much as I had to pay for gutters. I got scammed for gutters and the service is incomplete. However, I spoke with finance company who said the company is saying they completed the job. I sent over pics of job unfinished and they still billing me for this service. Leafguard don't return calls and you have to argue with customer service about no one returning to complete the job. I am responsible for incomplete service. I thought I was getting a great deal and the ********** laughed when I told them how much they charged me, informed me I was paying 3x the price, well I had to bite the bullet. Please research ladies before speaking with anyone as I didn't research enough. Never will recommend this company to no one. I'm working on steps to get this resolved with finance company. Service here sucks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

      We were sold clog free gutters and are surrounded by large trees. They constantly clog. The free gutter cleaning for life should have been first clue. i have to fight tooth and nail to get them to come and clean them out and now they are telling me there is a charge! ******* for gutters . The people that I have to speak with are smart mouth punks. They do not follow up because they have to do something for free. they are all over you when they think they are getting a sale but after that you thrown out to dry! BEWARE OF THESE PEOPLE! TOTAL RIP OFF!

      It's hard to believe LeafGuard is rated A+ by BBB. As you can see by the Reviews here, it's only rated 1.49 stars in 170 reviews (as off August 2025) - which more closely reflects our ************* elderly parents left my brother and I a message saying they had signed a contract giving Leafguard $18,472. I was pretty shocked. After checking online, that money could have even replaced their entire roof! So one of my first reactions was to look them up on the BBB, and no surprise, this Review section is full of horror stories.I also checked how the company treats its employees. Apparently the salespeople can be compensated nicely, while the installers are overworked and have little work-life balance. Salespeople are also taught high pressure, manipulative tactics in order to close their hours-long presentations, including lying when calling their managers for ******** may already be too late for you, but if you were smart enough to look them up here first, I would advise you to avoid this unscrupulous company at all costs.

      These gutters will not handle roof valley water volumes. Their engineering solution for handling metal food valley rain volume clogs easily and needs to be cleaned out more frequently than conventional gutters. If you have a metal roof with valleys do not buy these gutters. They have been unresponsive to my issue.

      My 90 year old father with dementia called the number from flyer in the mail and made an appointment, even though all his gutters are in perfect condition. I called LeafGaurd for him and informed them that my dad cannot make those types of decisions and please cancel the appointment, They agreed to cancel the appointment. The sales person still showed up and quoted my father $17,000 for gutters and told him that all his boards will rot if he doesnt replace very soon. Very shady and sad that someone would take advantage of an old elderly couple like this.

      Don't get me wrong, the sales guy was friendly, but there are some notable red flags about the company:-the sales guy was was saying that my current gutters don't keep out leaves (I have yet to see a leaf in them)-the "free estimate that will take about 1 hour" was a 2 hour sales presentation -every other company was immediately discredited as "they don't work"-the initial $17,000 quote was reduced down to ****** in under 5 minutes.-the sales guy essentially bragged that he had sold ****** worth of gutters to an older woman just hours before!
