I have purchasd 2 air rifles from Sig over the past 3 years. They won't even make it 1 year without having to be sent in to Sig for repairs. There are stories all over the internet about these air rifles and what a failure they are. You can ot get parts or schematics for these guns. All you can do is send it in and they basically give you a new gun. What a disaster. ****************Business Response

I recently sent a handgun for warranty work with sig Sauer for my P320 there was spots on the barrel and the gun was seized up I called and made a claim I was asked to send pictures and describe the damage
the gun was received and I was told by a representative that the weapon barrel would need to be replaced and a through cleaning would be required, I asked for an explanation about approved solvents I should be using for cleaning and maintaining of the weapon I explained to them that I was using Hoppes no 9 and CLP for cleaning this was explained to me that I was in fact using an approved cleaner by the company standards the representative was puzzled himself but could not offer any further explanation other than I needed to pay in order to get my weapon back, I explained that per the factory warranty I was doing nothing wrong and this was a workmanship flaw so why am I being required to pay for the damage caused by using an approved cleaner. The representative could not explain and only offered to discount the price.
I have owned many firearms from this company and this is the only one I have problems with and the company will not honor the factory warrantyBusiness Response

Charges have been removed.
Please use caution with bore solvent. If left to sit on metal, the solvent will remove more than just the carbon from rounds fired and eat away at the assorted finishes on firearms.

Sig Sauer 320,bought new from gun store recently.Gun shoots 4-5 inches low at 25 meters.Called Sig Sauer customer support.Was not allowed to contact a technician.The lady that answered that call was the connection to a “technician “.She first suggested to buy a taller rear sight from their cathalog.When I mentioned Sig Sauer warranty things changed.She kept me on hold while she consulted with the “technician”It went from having shoot the gun at 15 mtrs to shoot it at 10 mts after I told her that the gun was OK at 7 mts.Briefly Sig Sauer warranty is non existent and the quality of their firearms is not what it used to be years ago.

I was contacted by Sig Sauer.The offer was not suitable because they consider that a gun shoots good at 10 yards is within their specs.I don’t agree with that especially in the caliber the gun in question is.I gently declined the offer because I considered it unrealistic and it would simply protect the company in question.

Our sights are standardized to ten yards, but the offer to send in your handgun for an accuracy evaluation would be at 25 yards and at no charge to you. We would inspect the barrel and sights and test fire the pistol from a rest using a combat sight picture. I hope this helps in your decision in allowing Sig Sauer to dig deeper.Customer Answer

I'm very disappointed in Sig as a company, especially with the amount of money I spend with this company. I recently purchased my Macro x today(6/1/2023) and immediately went to the range to shoot. My pistol jammed up twice, although that was disappointing, the reason that actually got me upset was the response I received from the Customer service gentleman. I called to complain about my pistol jamming up, and no care was given. I also complained about the mags I received with this firearm; I told the rep that one of the magazines that came with my firearm did not want to click inside the pistol and that I have and had several sig firearms and never had this issue before. He couldn't careless and no resolution was giving not send it in and and we will send you another, I mean nothing. I never had to call Customer service before, because everything is usually great with their hand guns, however I am quite disappointed to receive this type of service.Business Response

Hello my names ****** and today is 05/19/2023, and yesterday I contacted Sig Sauer customer support regarding a rattling noise ( it sounds like a piece of broken metal ) in my Sig P365X handgun. I thought the handgun has a full lifetime warranty, and I did not know that I would be expected to pay a $55 shipping fee to send in the handgun to be serviced. I don't feel safe taking the gun to the shooting range because of this new rattling noise from inside the handgun.Business Response

I purchased a 2400ABS rangefinder that clearly states it comes with free access to the sig app. that is necessary to input ballistic information about your weapons. I now found out there is no such app that works with newer android phones! I believe this is clearly false advertising and I would never have purchased this rangefinder had I known that they have not updated their app to work with newer android smartphones. I feel I have been lied to and cheated out of my money!

Purchased an sig custom works AXG SCORPION ON 08/2021. It was supposed to come with three xfl magazines with witness holes. When I got home and opened up the box and checked the mags, there were three regular p320 magazines in it, not the one depicted in their video. I have been calling and have even spoken to their rep. who promised me a follow up. No answer so far. The only one I got was the "old supply chain issue". I work in a gun shop and the other custom work pistols after this run had the correct magazines with them, so somewhere they still had them, because the other came out after this run. Then a month ago I saw them selling the AXG scorpion again, not the same custom work model, but every thing else was the same. This was supposed to be a three month run, and then no more would be made. This is not the kind of service I usually get from sig, as I have owned others in the past. I just want what was promised me in the video which they took down after people here complained about not getting the right magazines. I just want the correct magazines I saw in the video, and an explanation as to why they are manufacturing the same gun again.Business Response

Discussed returning my SIG 1911 for random rust spots/stains/pitting on finish. I was originally told that it would be covered by the warranty and was told to take it to a FFL to send it in. Once the gun was sent in, I was told that it would not be covered. I called customer support and was told the Armorer states I used improper solvent on the gun. I do not use solvent on my gun. Specifically I use the gun oil supplied with the gun from SIG. I reached out and was told that I could not talk to the armorer and there was no way to dispute the claim. I asked how they came to that decision to tell me what got on the gun. I asked if found a chemical on the gun or did they assume that I use solvents. They refused to tell me how they made that decision. I was told that there decision would stand because the "armorer was an expert in his field". I have multiple SIG products and only have this issue with this specific gun. I am now being charged for re-finishing of my slide and frame, replacement of the barrel, and shipping to and from the factory. Following the recommendations of gun care, and using products from SIG on the finish, and not having similar issues on my other SIG products points to a manufacturing issue on the finish. I have no way to dispute there findings and am backed into a corner.Business Response

******* ******* originally called in October 25th to ask about how our warranty works regarding his 1911 bought in 2019 and we suggested sending through an FFL due to CT laws and restrictions. During the call, the representative was clear that we wouldn't know if the issue was covered under warranty until the product was at the factory to inspect. In speaking with ***** ****** ****, they confirmed Mr. ******* approved of these charges before moving forward with the repair.
Rust can be caused by a large number of external variables like sweat, humidity or chemicals. When this firearm is returned via the FFL the previous external material on the slide and frame will be removed and the 1911 will have a completely new factory finish and a new DLC (Diamond Like Carbon) coated barrel. I would suggest lightly coating the surface areas with a non-acidic gun oil to help prevent rust and keep your product looking and functioning it's best.Customer Answer

I do not accept the business's response as a resolution to my complaint because:On October 25th I did call and get information on the warranty. On January 4th the gun was sent.
On January 18th the FFL received an email from Victoria M***** at SIG that the gun would not be covered under warranty. She stated that the barrel would be replaced for $150 and the slide and frame would be refinished for $199.95. The FFL informed me on January 24th that SIG was not covering anything under warranty. This instigated my first phone call to SIG on how this is not covered under warranty. They discussed what was in my original complaint. They stated that the armorer had left for the day and that I would need to call back the next day. I called back and was not allowed to talk to anyone past the initial customer service representative. After discussions with the FFL they said my options were to have the gun shipped back without repairs and I would be charged for shipping both directions, or I could have the gun fixed and sent back. Ultimately I just want the gun fixed, so the decision was made to have the gun fixed to prevent a waste of money sending the gun back and forth for no reason. I was not told of any other options besides these two. The gun has been stored indoors in an air conditioned/humidity controlled environment, on the foam pad that came with the gun in my nightstand, has not been wet, has not seen sweat, has not been carried and has only had the oil provided by SIG put onto the surface. Along with this my other SIG products (P365xl, and M18) do not have these issues with identical care. This is why I see it as a manufacturing defect and would like it to be covered/refunded per the lifetime firearm warranty provided by SIG.

My credit card is saved in SigSauer.com website under my account. Someone hacked my log in and password and ordered just over $400 in items. I live in Ohio, the scammer had them delivered to California. SigSauer's website did not require the 3 digit code on the back of my card and they didn't see it as a problem to ship goods to the other side of the country. They have zero consumer protection procedures in place and they store credit card information. When I called them, I was told, "unfortunately it's that time of year."Business Response

Since this fraudulent individual made the order by logging into your account, I would highly suggest changing your password on all accounts you may have on all ecommerce websites. To receive a refund and also reduce the chance of future attempts of fraud, I would contact your credit card company for a charge back on this order.
