In April of 2023 I purchased an MCX ***** **. In July of ******************************************************************************************************* the barrel going up through the muzzle creating a potential safety and functional issues. I contacted Sig Sauer's customer service within the one year warranty to have a new barrel covered under warranty. *** however denied my warranty claiming without any examination or detailed description claiming it isn't their responsibility even though that is how I purchased it and it was brand new/unused. I eventually got them to agree to take it in to look at it and verify what I was saying only to have it returned with a summary that was paraphrasing what I had already stated; I believe they didn't even look at it and just returned it to me. I tried contacting them twice more with the last communications 7/11/2025 and they continue to refuse to cover this damage. I would like them to honor their warranty and send me a new assembly or replace the barrel at their expense. At this point I also do not care to do business with them ever again and would also accept a complete refund of $2,902.49 (rifle+tax)

    Hello,

This complaint shouldn't be outside of the BBB's purview. The warranty may be expired at this time, however I requested the warranty service from the manufacture well within the duration of the warranty. I have documented proof that I contacted Sig within the warranty period. Please see the attached email showing that I contacted Sig during the warranty period. Since I contacted them in July, 3 Months after purchasing and having a 1 year warranty, the repairs are covered by warranty.

Mr. *********************** sorry you no longer wish to do business with SIG SAUER from these interactions.  In our process of building barrels, there is no step that would create a cut parallel with the bore on the threads.  As you stated in the attached, you cut the steel flash hider/silencer mount off the barrel which would explain the cut on the threads.  We offered a heavily discounted price on a replacement barrel as the cut was not from a manufacturer defect and wouldn't be covered under our warranty.  This offer of the replacement barrel still stands should you choose to proceed with the service.

I do not accept the business's response as a resolution to my complaint because: [You must provide details of why you are not satisfied with this resolution. If you do not enter a reason for your rejection, your complaint will be closed as Answered.]

I have been over in great detail with Sig Sauer's customer service before all the information and pictures showing that the damage wasn't caused by myself. Other explanations and reasons from Sig including that it was the store I bought it from are also unacceptable. There are different explanations on how this happened and is Sig's responsibility including damaging the barrel elsewhere and somehow having it re-enter circulation or an employee/employees acting outside of normal procedures. With all the denial of issues that are widely know with ***'s customer service and quality control, I wouldn't be surprised if they are lying as well. Sig is acting in bad faith to do everything to absolve themselves of the warranty claim and avoid responsibility. The warranty should cover complete replacement to no expense of myself.

    Sincerely,

    ******* Rarer

I purchased an Sig Sauer rifle in October 2024 that was part of a rebate program. Once the rebate was filed I would receive an Sig Sauer P365 pistol for free. I have contacted Sig Sauer three times, and have yet to receive the pistol. Each time I am told they didnt expect such a high demand for the rebate program, and their customer service team is still processing hundreds of requests. I know others have have taken delivery of their rebate pistol months ago, but I have yet to get mine. My last contact with Sig Sauer was 3/27/25, and have been given no further updates. I either want the pistol I was promised, or a refund of the pistols value.

Thank you for reaching out regarding your GET9 promotion.  The firearm SKU you opted for has been out of stock, but builds have been shipping this week.  Your order is set to leave SIG SAUER as soon as today.  You'll receive tracking in your email so you'll know when to pick up the firearm at your chosen FFL.

Dear Sig Sauer Team,I first want to say that I'm a huge fan of Sig Sauer firearms. I own an M18 Snakebite and recently purchased a Sig P320 Full Size. The reason I bought the P320 Full Size was because of your current promotion offering two free magazines with the purchase of any Sig firearm. I've attempted multiple times to upload the receipt provided by **************, but I keep receiving a denial stating that the receipt does not include all the required ************** resolve this, I even went back to Bass Pro Shops and spoke with the gun manager. He printed me a new receipt with all the necessary details and even highlighted the specific information your promotion requests. Despite this, I received another email at 3:30 AM stating that my submission was denied again for the same ********* this point, it's clear that your system is automatically reviewing the submissions, and something is not working correctly. All I want is to receive the two magazines that your company is advertising as part of the promotion. I followed every step and submitted all the required documentation, yet I was still denied. This experience is very frustrating and reflects poorly on the Sig Sauer brand. If you're going to run a promotion, it should be honored when customers fulfill the requirements. This situation is making me reconsider future purchases of your firearms and optics.*** also sent a message to your official X account regarding this issue, along with a photo of the receipt provided by ***************I would appreciate it if someone could personally review my submission and help resolve this issue.Sincerely,*****

I ordered a red dot sight from them and it states I have 14 days to return it but they won't reply to any emails about them shipping me a broken item that's almost 200 bucks after taxes that's a lot of money for them to just ship out broken items and not answer about it

I have two separate issues with Sig Sauer both having to deal with rebates and their response to handling issues that have come up. I signed up for *** connect due to a promotion where you would receive a T300 starter kit for free. I have called several times because of an issue with not receiving the code. Have been promised that I would receive the code shortly well it has been three months and nothing. The second issue again surrounds a rebate where if you purchased a Mcx regulator you would receive a p320 for free. Again I have filled out all the information they asked for and complete silence. I am starting to feel that this has become some sort of bait and switch where they promise great deals and just do not follow through. I do not feel that I should have to wait 3 to 4 months to hear anything about a rebate.

A representative has reached out via email and phone to finalize your options for the GET9 Promotion.  I apologize for the delay in this program, the quantity of validated submissions far surpassed all projected expectations.

Gun serial number: ********* This is specifically about customer service representative **** ****. When i contacted customer service with an issue with my Sig P226 Legion, I already had the gun with a professional gunsmith. He advised me the recoil spring is worn or broken. After contacting **** he asked for pictures of everything and continued insisting that nothing looked wrong with the spring. Even after sending him pictures of the spring jammed in front of the guide rod showing the problem he refused to help us in any way. The gunsmith tried calling and e-mailing him and he refused to answer or respond to the gunsmith, basically abandoning us and giving me the worst impression of Sig I could ever have of a gun manufacturer. I ended up independently purchasing new recoil springs and rush ordering them for $60 and installing them myself and that fixed the issue as the gun shot ******* rounds with no problems at all. The spring was very obviously the issue.

    Business Response

    Date: 12/13/2024

Sorry to hear of your experience with our **************** team.  I would be happy to send a factory magazine and spare recoil springs to more than cover the cost of the $60 recoil spring.  The factory spring from a P226 is coiled, seen in the images in this link:

    **********************************************************************

To ensure proper function of your P226 SN: 47G007583, we suggest using factory springs.

Please confirm if you would like to proceed with the recoil spring set and spare magazine.

I purchased an MCX Spear 7.62 and had to get the muzzle device changed. My gunsmith was unable to break the Rocksett used by Sig to attach the muzzle device. Even after boiling it the device would not come off. My FFL contacted Sig and they said to send the upper to them and they would remove the device.Once Sig had the upper, they removed the handguard so they could work on the barrel. Apparently, the upper's screws had red Loctite applied (seemingly by Sig from the factory since the gun was purchased new). I expect they great difficulty removing the screws due to the Loctite and instead of applying heat to loosen the Loctite, they forced the screws out, stripping the threads on the upper and ruining it. Sig then contacted my *** and asked them to pay $500 USD for a new upper or else they would simply send back the ruined upper, which would be completely useless.Sig employs very experienced and highly certified gunsmiths so they should have known to apply heat to loosen the Loctite instead of using excessive force, resulting in them being stripped. Or at least not have charged us an additional $500 for damage that they caused.

I purchased a p320 xten brand new. And it jams up wont extract. I had a manual SAFTEY installed for previous p320 discharge by itself. I sent the gun to sig sauer to fix the jam and extract problem. They wrote back saying they cant work on it under warranty because a manual safety was installed. The SAFTEY doesnt have anything to do with the jamming or extract of shell. They voided the warranty and wont fix the firearm under warranty now. I also recently found out this problem with the xten has been going on sense it was manufactured. Their selling defective firearms. The next step is legal action if its not solved.

I purchased this new Sig Sauer P229 Legion from Academy and then purchased a Romeo-X *** red dot sight from Marksmen Firearms who mounted it for me. I fired a hundred rounds of 9mm and the thing jammed 10 times. I disassembled it and the slide drags during about the last 1/3 of the return distance. I suspect that the slide is dragging as the slide travels over the firing pin retainer. I love the gun and would like to get it fixed. Does Sig Sauer have a local firearms repair facility or can they pay to have it shipped to Sig and repaired?
