      Cox has charged my credit card two years later saying I owe them money! they charged my card without my permission . I don’t owe them any money! They threaten me that they’re going to ruin my credit and they will never leave me alone! I’ve called them and told them to stop doing this because they actually owe me money! They are nothing but a bunch of crooks!

      For whatever reason, we lost all our Cox services (cable, internet and phone) earlier this morning just as we were having severe storms. Someone told me it was for maintenance. Seems Cox is unable or unwilling to delay or postpone maintenance in situations where their customers rely on these services. May be time for a new internet company.

      Of all of the utilities that I have dealt with, Cox without a doubt has the absolute worst customer service. It once took me more than three days to contact them about my service being out and the guy I finally talked to kept trying to upsell me on more service. Sheesh! They weren't responding to my problem and wanted me to pay more for what I already wasn't getting.

      I live with my roommate “JGC” (whose name is on the account). Recently we were wanting to purchase COX WiFi and saw they were advertising 1Gig speed with unlimited data and free installation at a fixed price of $70/month. In order to see this deal, we had to enter in our address to verify the address qualified. The address did, in fact, qualify for this promotion. I went in-person to COX in Omaha, NE on L st. order to sign up, but was told by the worker that it would cost an extra $30 for unlimited plus $100 for installation. At another Omaha location, COX inside Nebraska Furniture Mart, the worker said she was unable to give me the deal advertised online as she did not have the authority to. She did, however, tell me she would allow free installation since I am a new user. I am upset that the price is not true to what was advertised to me online. I left a voicemail at the COX on L st. and was never contacted back. I would like to be contacted as soon as possible with someone with the proper authority to get this pricing issue resolved as the COX locations near me are no help. Thank you.

      My husband and I signed up for $50/month for internet with Cox. We both are disabled and on a fixed income. In the last 8 months our bill has tripled. I am switching providers and I wanted everyone to know that I feel bullied by Cox Communications. I tried to make payment arrangementson a past due balance, I was a month behind and they disconnected my service. Cox is not worth $180/month.

While we can't discuss payments and billing concerns via the Better Business Bureau, we do have alternatives for payment extensions, however, payments have to be made in order to keep your account active if we are to continue to provide services. If you would like to discuss this matter further, please contact us directly at 877-431-9965, where we can discuss best options with our accounts receivable team.       Bill tripled over 6 month period. Husband and I are disabled and they turned us off because the bill, for one month instead of the $50/month we had agreed to it was $180/month. I have chosen to go to a different company. I would not recommend this company for any services. They are overpriced.

      After several times of telling them I could not make payments with my card because my card was hacked and somebody attempted to Bill me in North Carolina they still attempted to bill the card then said that due to failed payments I was unable to schedule payments then I then asked them if they would take a partial payment today to extend it for a week in a refused ask to speak with the manager and they refused. As a business owner that has to wait on his checks to come in the mail after completing a job you would think there would be an understanding that due to mail delivery delays you can't guarantee dates it will arrive but still trying I offered to pay over half of past due balance immediately if they could just postpone a week for my checks to have time to arrive and they refused respectfully as a business owner not being willing to work with your customers or even allow them to speak with a manager when requested is just bad business.

      So unreliable. Stop saying this in your advertisements. Tried to ask for a discount because wifi down for 2 days. Could never get someone on the phone. Thanks for nothing. I wish I had LUS. Never had issues

      Worst company I’ve ever had to work with. They charge extremely high prices because they have monopolies in certain areas. Getting in contact with them is impossible and when you do they lie about their prices and scam you. 0/10 recommend this company.

      Service went out on a Friday evening. Called and texted tech support which both told me that there was no outage in my area. Scheduled an appointment for Monday afternoon. Monday morning came and there were numerous bucket trucks repairing my area outage.
