The item that I received is not the item that I purchased. This was supposed to be new open package oars model 69627. The oars I received are model 69629 and they are completely different. Also they are not new open package they are absolutely used oars. You can see where in damage on blades and leading edge has lots of wear and scuffs.
I contacted the seller and they replied almost immediately. We went back and forth with messages, with immediate responses. The seller offered me a $4 refund to keep the damaged, wrong item that I received.
I declined that offer and requested a refund. Then was told I have to go through eBay to get a return/refund. I haven't heard from the seller since. Which is funny because messages were responded to instantly until they told me to go through eBay now nothing.
Item received was not what was pictured. It was of very low quality and was a returned item. I wish that sellers wouldn't steal other pictures and descriptions and use them for totally different items. Then if you want to return the item, you have to take pictures, a bunch of messages, and rebox the item and arrange to send it back. Just send the correct item and stop making buyers have to jump through hoops to get a refund!Business Response

I’ve had nothing but problems with Spreetail and strongly recommend avoiding them—especially if you’re buying an above ground pool.
The first pool I ordered (via Amazon) was lost in transit. Amazon sent a replacement, and once I filled it, I immediately noticed a leak around the filter connection. I contacted the seller and was told I’d only get a 50% refund because the item was “used”—even though it was “used” simply to discover it was defective.
I decided I didn’t want to deal with this company again, so I ordered a different pool through Walmart, thinking it was from a new seller. Once it shipped, I realized it was Spreetail again—and unbelievably, this second pool also leaks.
At this point, I genuinely don’t believe Spreetail is selling new products. It feels like they are reselling returned or defective items as “new.”
Do yourself a favor and stay far away from this seller. Between the shipping issues, repeated leaks, and shady refund practices, this has been a frustrating and expensive experience.Business Response

I had an awful experience with this company. They sent me a defective mattress—only the middle inflated properly, rising to about 12 inches, while the edges and corners stayed flat at just 3 inches. It's completely unusable, and nothing like what was advertised.
When I contacted customer service, they refused to take it back unless I returned it in the original box—which, of course, is impossible after opening and expanding the mattress. Their "solution"? They told me to find a mattress-sized box at a grocery store. What grocery store carries boxes big enough for a queen or king mattress? Completely unreasonable.
They’ve made it clear they won’t stand behind their product or provide a fair return process. This is a shady return policy designed to trap customers. I strongly recommend avoiding this company and buying from a brand with real customer service and a trustworthy return policy.Business Response

Purchase date 6-23-2025 of an Intex pool. Delivery date was to be between 6-27-2025 and 6-30-2025 .
6-30-2025 came and went , no pool. We took the week off of work to accommodate the arrival and to have ample time to set it up. Contact the seller , no new information was provided. They assured us it would arrive by 7-4-2025 . Today is 7-4-2025 and the provided tracking is still not available. They have no explanation for me. No accountability and no resolution. I made my first credit payment for the pool yesterday. A pool I still do not have, that I lose a week of work for. The seller responses are NOT helpful by any means and they are NOT providing any information that I do not already have. Only excuses and an offer to discount the pool (THAT I DO NOT HAVE) by less than the amount it is selling for from another carrier.
The pool was purchased through them at a HIGHER COST SPECIFICALLY because of their promised delivery date. I’m disgusted and embarrassed that I ever tried to do business here.
Tracking number is not registered with the delivery service. No further information about why the misguiding occurred. No assistance in locating or providing a new delivery date. Nothing. Only an offer of a discount… on a pool I still do not have.Business Response

I ordered a pool from Spreetail, going through **********(tracking number *********) on 06/23/25. It was supposed to be delivered by 06/30/25. On 06/30/25, I contacted the freight company that was delivering the pool and I was informed that the pool was never loaded onto the truck for it to be delivered to me. I had to cancel that order. I then ordered another pool through ***********(tracking number ********) and the pool was supposed to be delivered by 07/03/25. I didn't realize it at the time, but the pool was coming from the same company, Spreetail. I called Spreetail on 07/01 and 07/02 asking about delivery. I was told on 07/01 that they normally delivered their freight deliveries within 2-3 business days. On 07/03 I called back to see if the freight company had even picked up the pool from the Spreetail warehouse yet, which it hadn't, and I was told by that person that freight normally took 5-8 business days. I even offered to go to the warehouse, which is literally three hours from my home and pick it up myself, saving them shipping costs and was told no, that was not possible. In the meantime, I have spent several hundred dollars preparing the ground for this pool, purchasing and having sand delivered as well. We have rain coming this weekend, which will wash out all the work we've paid to have done. My complaint is with Spreetail. The fact that we ordered from two different places and they have managed to make a mess with both orders and being told different things by different people at the same company. This company does very bad business. After looking back at reviews on Amazon, apparently customers not receiving the pool they ordered is quite common. This company needs to work a little harder at providing better customer service. I'm out $600+ and no one I spoke with there seems to care in the least. I will definitely make sure I NEVER order from this company again.Business Response

Ordered a pool on 6/4 today is 6/19 and still have not received the item. Asked for a refund was not given the total amount i Paid for the item. This seller is telling me to contact ******* as Spreetail is a third party seller. Spreetail refuses to give me the money I’m owed I’ve been in contact with them for the last 2 weeks and nothing has been resolved. They continue to tell me to contact ******* which i have and ******* is only responsible for the taxes which i received the day it was canceled. i ordered pool parts which cost me approximately 78.88. i had them returned after i spoke w customer service i was told to attach the email to the boxes, which i did. i had to pay 44.90 out of my pocket to send the products back. the rep said i would be reimbursed the money for parts once they received them which according to post office would be 06/14/2025. i spoke with a ******** and a ****** and was told they would not reimburse for sending it back. they should have sent me a return slip to return them but did not. all i want is my money back for parts, and money for sending the products thru us mail to return.Business Response

I ordered a 24” wall oven for my mom’s house. When we opened the package up the inside of the glass was shattered. I taped up the package and took it to ups and had it returned. I had to pay ups 20.00 to retake and wrap the package so that the glass would not fall out. Spreetail confirmed that they received the oven back and told me they had to charge a restock fee and would only reimburse 1/2 the amount I paid for the oven. They claimed that they could not resell the oven due to the damage to it. This is how I received the oven it was damaged and the reason for returning it. In my mind this is theft . On amazon it says 30 day warranty and easy return policy. I returned this a few days after receiving the oven so I’m within my 30 days. Please help I just want the rest of my money refunded. Also I did try to just get an exchange for a new oven, there was no options to do that. There are several complaints online . Unfortunately I did not take a photo of the damage .Business Response

I purchased a tach luggage set through Amazon sold by spreetrail ( order number *******************). This item is advertised under the manufacturer as coming with a warranty which covers manufacturer defects. When traveling, my lock on the luggage became jammed and would not open. My husband had to cut the fabric of the bag so I can access my personal belongings. During this process, my husband examined the lock from the internals of the back and noticed the lock mechanism was not properly alligned and had to be realligned. Unfortunately the bag is unusable due to the issue caused by this manufacturer defect and I am seeking a replacement or refund through the warranty process. I spoke to the manufacturer directly who stated spreetrail is supposed to fullfill the warranty as an agreement with their business. I have attached photo documentation of that correspondence. I have reached out to spreetrail a few months ago via phone and recently via messaging. Both times, I was declined the ability to fullfill the warranty claim.Business Response

I purchased a bestway pump for $524.99 plus taxes from Speetail
After purchasing my wife found an identical product for $243.99 so my wife requested a return label to send back
They offered a 10% discount
I told them 10% wasn’t enough as the other seller was half their price
So they sent me a return label which I had to pay for the return this cost me an additional $123
I sent the package via ****** to the address they provided even requiring a signature upon them receiving it ****** on their tracking page shows delivered to Vaughn ON. So the company lied and said they did not receive it back even though they signed for it
I called ****** for clarification and they said that package was delivered on May 12,2025 to **** ****** ******** in Mississauga ON and was signed for by *******.
I explained this to the company and they still refused to issue my refund
I even gave them the ****** phone number
So ****** could explain to them also
I would like my original $551.24 and the $123 shipping back which is a total of $674.24Business Response

The business did not refund my shipping cost of $123.00 and not only that they changed the purchase price of the item so they also now charged me for the shipping to my address during original transaction.for an additional cost to me of about $90 so I am out $213 on this transaction. I am sorry that you did not appreciate the comment about the new pump. I was referring to you new pump you purchase elsewhere. In the end, I really do hope you have have a great summer once this mess with us concludes. I do agree this has taken too long and I do apologize for that.
As for the the refund. I see that $524.99 has been requested for refund. I do show another $81.75 has not yet fully refunded yet. This should all be processed through in the 3-5 days I had spoke of earlier. Please let me know if you do not receive that refund.
