1 starPlease do not spend your money on this company for your move. My experience with them has been horrible from start to finish. I do not have the time to write you the complete story but please understand this when you book and schedule a pick and drop off the so call "guarantee price" will change by the time you are done with the service. Please hope you do not get any damages of your property that is caused by water because it will not be covered under the insurance. Even with a clearly defected unit that has opening on the roof and siding that allowed water to come in the unit and damage your property. It's the worst and claims are ready to deny any liability. It's yes you will get your stuff, but we do not know if is going to arrive as you shipped it. Go with someone else. ITs a shame.1-800-PACK-RAT, LLC

1 starI rented a pack rat in July. The driver dropped the container right in front of my front door and left it there. This was completely useless as the I needed to get stuff out the front door. It was requested to be dropped by the side of the house. I called numerous times to talk to someone and told them to come get the container because my father passed away. Now they are trying to charge me. This company and it's service are awful. DO NOT RECCOMEND to anyone.1-800-PACK-RAT, LLC

1 starMy experience with Zippy Shell was incredibly terrible and you should look for LITERALLY ANY OTHER moving company. Not only did they improperly handle my account, resulting in them selling me a service (ie a shell) that they didnt have the infrastructure in the city to deliver, they also then damaged over $2,000 worth of furniture etc during the move and refused to offer any financial compensation (all documented with clear evidence). After realizing that they didnt have the equiptment necessary to unload the shell, they offered to have packrat movers come to load the shell for me (I paid to do it myself and to have the container for several days). With no other options, again because they couldnt deliver the shell, I relented and allowed them to have movers come and load everything the same day (I even have the new contract they approved showing these changes). I provided them over 2 DOZEN thick blankets, as well as had all delicate items and frames bubble wrapped and in cardboard boxes prior to their arrival (with receipts for over 100 dollars in bubble wrap available). Nonetheless, on the move across country, after their own team loaded it, they managed to do $2,000 in damage. When filling out the claim, with pictures & detailed damage to all items, the company refused to pay for any damages, claiming that they spoke to their movers and claim that we had no packaging materials. Of course this is a falsifiable lie, but the claims team asked for no additional evidence or proof of packaging materials. Instead, in the face of damages to family heirlooms, artwork, and more (all documented) the company refused to pay for any damages. If you are moving, USE ANYONE ELSE if you care about your stuff. If you want them to get broken & shattered, & to have family heirlooms irreparably ruined, then Packrat/Zippy is a great option. If all else fails, dragging your heirlooms behind your car might make them less damaged than Packrat will when you arrive at your destination.1-800-PACK-RAT, LLC

5 starsFrom beginning to end, my experience was first-class. The reservation process was simple and straightforward - pricing was fair. All the drivers were courteous, professional, and prompt. The container is exactly what I expected and "fit" our belongings perfectly. 1 starI schedule to have a POD delivered on 09/12/2025 and it was confirmed. IT NEVER WAS DELIVERED!!! Called the **************** at ****** for an update. Was told I cannot get an update on the time put would be there by 10 pm. **************** stated that would contact the hub and or driver for an update and would get back to me. No updates! At 6 pm called **************** again and was told they would reach out again and it was still on track to get to my home. NEVER did and no updates. Received a call at 8:00am on 09/13/25 that I would be the first deliver today. I was told their system was done and was not able to update customers why was I not told this? Cancel my request had to reschedule the movers which cost me more money!POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE and NO I one to talk to other then a call center person.1-800-PACK-RAT, LLC

1 starUnit is 3 days past schedule and customer service is horrible they can't even locate the unit and are still pushing the schedule back all the help that I had to align up had to change their flight tickets several times because we couldn't get a commitment when this unit may get delivered wish I had just went and rented a usual truck would have been a lot less stressful.If you're on a schedule avoid these people at all cost1-800-PACK-RAT, LLC

1 starNot even sure where to begin - we went through Pack Rat instead of Pods to save an about $200 (huge mistake). We had two 16 ft containers to be delivered, picked up, and then transported approx 200 miles. In my original quote, they waived storage fees on both containers to beat the Pods quote ($350 per container for two containers = $700). Despite this, they still ended up charging me the $700 anyway. Then, I had to wait multiple business days for the correction and the $700 to get out back in my account. Then, I had to go to the ** the morning of the first drop off and ended up having surgery. I informed the manager at the local location and he never relayed to his driver. His driver still tried to call me. I was in surgery, so I couldnt answer, and the driver proceeded to lay on his horn until my husband was able to come to the door. After getting picked up, our containers ended up getting delivered one business day later than they were supposed to. In addition, all of our stuff that has been delivered smells horribly like cigarette smoke when the containers are supposed to be stored in temperature controlled warehouses. From the get go, its been a mess with them. I would never recommend and will stay with Pods for our next move. We never had these issues with them.1-800-PACK-RAT, LLC

5 starsAugust 2025 We just completed a cross country move and used Pack Rat. They showed up exactly when they said they would. This included the delivery, pick up, transport and delivery and final pick up. The price was half of the "other guys".
