      I am currently dealing with PackRat and this entire experience has been horrible. If I could go back in time and choose a different company I would, even if Id have to pay more. It started off awful with them not correctly scheduling the day wed have access to the container (kept it at the facility and rented a uhaul to bring our things). We get there and everything is locked. Luckily we see someone and run to meet them to tell them whats going on. Had to sign a waiver for them to leave it outside with all of our things in it. They shipped it on the wrong date following that and now theyre not sure where it is. Was supposed to be delivered 3 days ago. Been calling customer support and have waited on the phone for almost an hour each time (ever after leaving a callback number. Theyd call back and Id wait). Its so frustrating to be in this situation and it seems like everyone has a different answer and none of them are right. Will never use this company again.

      Never have I ever had such an awful experience with this company. I have requested a copy of the contract (which I have never received) more times than I can count. Plus the quote I was given over the phone is not what they are charging me. Trying to help a local business has turned in to a huge problem. The first container they brought was filled with asphalt and tar.. had to exchange it. The next one was dirty and I had to personally clean it out myself. Was told it would be a new unit, it was not and holes in the unit are taped over. Just want to be treated fairly.

      We've used 1800PackRat for 2 moves now and they just keep getting better. Used four 16ft containers for each move. Great communication and service from staff and drivers. Containers are always placed exactly where we want. If you're lucky enough to have REMOVEDas your driver, you are in for a treat. He's the best.

      Pleasant experience from start to finish .. no issues .. served its purpose .. was what I expected. Clean and ready to go when needed .. flexible schedule and willing to work with you .. and the least hassle .. would use again if needed .. thank you !

      If I could give a negative number of stars I would. This place has the absolute worst service. I had my storage pod scheduled for delivery for a week. I took the day off of work to be home for delivery day. They never showed up. I called many times during the day and was told that my house was the next stop. Finally at 8:30 pm after bing on hold for 30 mins they said my delivery had been rescheduled for a different day. Absolutely the worst customer service.

      I cannot get Pack Rat to deliver my container that has been in storage for a few months. Set the delivery date for 11/14. Received a call that the forklift is broken and they will need to deliver it on 11/18. Called them on 11/18 since no one contacted me to complete the delivery and was on hold for an hour until someone answered the phone. They proceeded to inform me that the forklift is still broken and I "might" get my container on 11/20 but there was no guarantees. Still have no concrete delivery date right before the holidays when I will have guests coming to an empty house. Poor planning for a warehouse to not have a backup forklift to make your deliveries on time.

      I was told there was a promo of 50% off so I decided to take advantage of this offer , They charged me $228.09 ( claiming the discount was $99 off rental only when I questioned the math) TOTAL LACK OF TRANSPARENCY as that is not 50 % as they made it appear to be , then added fees were not discussed for Delivery added to my charge card ( the move was 5 min down the road) I then tried to schedule the final pick up and the choice of days were LIMITED and I took the first one available 11/11 according to the online booking - that day came and went and an additional $244.01 was added!! When I called to inquire and finally was able to speak to someone , I was told they added another MONTH RENTAL when I was done with it literally 2 days after they delivered it and I had no option to get it picked up!! Now I am told I am getting a credit and they removed the additional fees I knew nothing about and I am not seeing any credits on my ACCOUNT on line that states any of this. So I have no idea what Im paying . The date was then MOVED from the 11th and NOT BY ME, and I have called at least 6 times now and the CONTAINER IS STILL IN MY DRIVEWAY and I have had to move my NEW FURNITURE delivery as I also have workers ( painters & flooring ) that need driveway space. I have been dealing with this while at work and having to rearrange scheduling TWICE now since we are now 17th and I will be getting a charge for moving the delivery twice!! And trying to get a response on when its actually getting picked up and every time I call I get reconnected to another department and put on hold only to retell the same story and then told they are 2 stops away??!! Well its now changed again on the schedule NOT BY ME AS IT WILL NOT ALLOW ME it now moved to NOV 20th according to the account and I will need to RESCEDULE NEW furniture AGAIN and NO ONE HAS CALLED ME BACK - THIS warrants FULL REFUND at this point!!!

      The Pack Rat 16 shell was delivered by someone who barely spoke English. He could not level it, even though it was on a new, concrete surface indicating the shell was warped. The door would not latch closed, so it could not be locked. Inside, it was filthy with dirt and debris. The unit had not been cleaned or inspected before delivery. The driver left the shell after sharing a story of how another shell he recently picked up had its doors open during transport spilling the customers contents across the road.Calls to Pack Rats customer service went without resolution. Employees apparently work at home and have no desire or ability to escalate resolution to problems. We had movers booked to fill it but now have to cancel. We had flights to our destination, that we now have to cancel. I strongly suggest finding a different company for your move.

      We had a storage container with them for one year. I scheduled for pick up on 7th of the month. They can't schedule pickup until the 18th of the month. My monthly charge set in on the 6th of the month. I talked to billing and they said there is nothing they can do to waive the monthly charge or even Prorate since I did call towards beginning of period. They didn't have any sooner pickup time. I don't understand how renting from them for long time, that they can't make an exception to pro rating the charge. Every other company does that, but apparently pack rat doesn't. I would not recommend using them for storage business. I used UNITS and they ended up being WAY CHEAPER!! Go with them, you will not be unhappy!

      I placed my service order 4 weeks before my move. Drop off of the pod was delivered in the timeframe expected. I was advised by the agent when i placed the order that i should schedule my pick-up date at least 5 days prior to the date required. I called 11 days (11/4) days prior to the date i needed my pod picked up and 16 prior to the date I needed delivered to my new home. I was advised that no drivers were available for the date i was looking for pick up (11/15). The date i was given (11/18) for pickup was 3 days after the date I was losing access to my property. I then asked for the delivery date that was a few days past the pick-up date and was told it could not be delivered 12/1. I have a close date on my escrow on the new home 11/19. Ultimately, I requested to cancel my service for a fee of $250.00 because those dates could not work for my move. The agent i spoke with transferred me to a supervisor who was not helpful and simply stated "there is nothing we can do. If we don't have drivers, we don't have drivers" I followed ALL instructions given and feel very misled by the agent I initiated the services with. I have now been on hold multiple times more than 40 mins to unsuccessfully speak with an agent to CONFIRM that my service has been canceled, as my card was charged the $250, and that the date given for pick-up of the empty pod, 11/18/25 is confirmed. I selected the "callback" option 2x and both times were ultimately disconnected before connected to an agent. There is no information on my online account confirming that they will getting this waste of money/time/space off my now sold property. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY if you expect any type of customer service.
