      If I could give zero Stars I would. I called this company on August 27, 2025 to get a quote on having one of their alarm systems installed in my home. I told the sales Tech that I was going to inquire with another company to get a quote from them as well and the sales ************************ gave me their quote and told me that I would have to pay the sales tax up front to secure the quote he gave me. That should have been a red flag there, but I agree to pay the $41.93 to hold the quote but he assured me that I could cancel if I decided to go with the other company. The following day I sent him an email that I had ADT coming out that following Saturday to give me a quote and that I would like to cancel and get a refund for the taxes that he claimed I had to pay up front because I wasn't 100% sure I was going to go with them. Here it is October 9th and still have not gotten a refund from this company. They steal money from people and with no intentions of giving refunds back. I never got any Services whatsoever from these people and they refuse to give me my money back. I would never recommend CPI, *** is the best way to go.

      Use a different security company! *** puts you in a contract which allows them to raise your monthly fee (higher than competitive companies) while severely charging you if you exit early. Their systems have consistently technical error in which they charge you for a technician to come out (which only started in 2023). Recent female manager was rude and disrespectful, speaks to customers like they are children. I regret going with CPI. Ive been a loyal customer for years and she will not waive the technicians fee (not even partially) for a smoke detector that continues malfunctioning after being reset properly with new batteries for 3 consecutive days (each day they show it being reset properly and then the next day it gives the same low battery error3 days in a row and counting). Worst security system company. Save the hassle and go with another oneANY other company is better than CPI. Theyve only gotten worse thru the years.

      I should check the reviews in the page before I get into this SCAM. This company is trash! They installed a security System in my house, and I had people coming inside of my house with zero record of this in my cameras even when they passed by just in front of it. Another day something was burning in my kitchen and all the fire alarm in the house went off, their fire detector no even triggered, I never got a call to make sure it was an actual emergency or not! Then Im trying to cancel the service because doesnt make sense to pay for something I dont trust anymore and they said if I want to cancel I have to pay thousands of dollar because Im in a contract. So I have to pay for a contract and fulfill my part of the agreement even when the system Im paying for doesnt work. I would put zero stars but it is not an option

      This company has been extremely disappointing and unsafe. Their system failed, and my neighbors were able to use my access code to break into my apartment. When I reported the issue, the company refused to take accountability, offered no assistance, and did not even alert the police. This shows a complete lack of security and responsibility. I feel taken advantage of as a consumer, and I am preparing legal action. I strongly advise others not to use this company.

      Do not use this company. They quote you and tell you bull over the phone, then it's worse when the tech comes with upping the price and more bull. They lie, they don't call you back, they trap you, they are a rip off. Then when you tell them no, they come down on the price and turn right around and claim your getting something your not. Warning ?? keep away. It's a joke. Wasted 1 hour on the phone and over half a day with the tech.

      Trap you into a contract that you must pay off, even if you are moving to an area they do not service. Do not sign a contract with this company.

      DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. I have been a customer for 8 years and am being treated like dirt. They came to my house to upgrade my system which they convinced me was needed. My system was working just fine. The tech came and did what was specified and left. Within hours, we noticed several window contacts no longer worked and half the system was not responding. I called the tech and he said he would be back later that day. After waiting many hours he called and said he would be back in the morning. (Saturday). No surprise he never showed. Called customer service asked to speak to a supervisor and was assured he would call me with a status. Its now hours later and Ive received no call from him either. Called again twice and hes always on the phone. Now they set up a tech to come 10 days out. These people have incompetent service people that s**** up their job and then dont follow thru to fix it. They then lie about taking care of of things just to get you off the phone. They then never call you back. TERRIBLE ***************** All they want to do is take your money. Aviod them at all cost.

      I didnt renew and they have been leaving multiple voicemails,but the worst part is that for the second t tonight I was woken by a blaring alarm telling me there is a fire

      AVOID AT ALL COSTS!They will force you into a contract that lasts longer than the warranty on their own products. Thats really all you need to know, right? But I can go on. Their app isnt nearly as good as Ring. Their cameras need constant maintenance, and dont look good. Their app is very difficult to use. You will not be happy with their service and you will NOT be able to leave it until the contract is up. Trust me on this one. In the age of do-it-yourself security systems, AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS or youll end up writing one of these just like me.Home maintenance requiring removal of sensors? Forget it. Even if you call CPI and warn them, they will dispatch the police anyway. Think thats good? Apparently its York County Sheriffs policy to enter a home unannounced when they receive these calls from ***. **** response? Thats your fault. Apparently they need weeks of notice to allow a homeowner to maintain their own home. Bottom line, they take no ownership of their own bad behavior, they do NOT hold themselves accountable to their own contract, but expect you to hold up your end. Predators plain and simple. They are not in the business of safety. They are in the business of stealing from their victims of I mean clients.

      They make it nearly impossible to cancel. They will continue to draft money from your bank account even after you cancel.
