    Very disappointed in Crossovers customer service and warranty. We purchased a house where they installed a new roof a year ago. We were happy to hear the roof came with a 10 year warranty. During our due diligence period the home inspector had some serious concerns about some of the installation. Crossover did come out and make necessary repairs before closing. Unfortunately during Tropical ***** ****** we had a major leak. Water came into the living room, causing drywall and paint to bubble with water intrusion . I called Monday after the storm and was told they were very busy due to the storm. I said I understood and they promised to get back to me asap. I called again, two weeks later and promised our job was on their list but never heard back. I called this past week and was told that a supervisor would be calling me, but that did not happen. We have very serious concerns that our roof was installed by this company. It seems they do not guarantee their work.

    I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and I will see if the company complies with the request. This issue is by no means closed until all unfinished work is complete.
    elevations. Half of this job was completed on December 12 incorporating PVC material, but the final decorative trim has not been installed.

    What is frustrating here is the workmanship provided is very good quality, but the job is incomplete. I was assured that the remaining items would be taken care of at the time payment on November 3 and December 12, but this has not happened. What is worse is that ********** Insurance was notified the work was complete on October 23 which prompted them to generate a final payment, but that report contains errors.

    Both the ********** adjusting agent and myself have attempted several contacts with Crossover Roofing including phone, text and email with no reply. I really don’t like utilizing this method, but it’s the next logical step in hopefully resolving this problem. Basically, I just want this company to honor their commitment and provide quality services.

    I want to document that is has now been over 2 weeks and no individual from Crossover Roofing has contacted me. I shouldnt express my opinion, but I expected this. Since this is my first time ever utilizing the BBB service I guess my response to their initial reply is somewhat pointless. If this is the case then let me know or is there any further action you can take on my 

    behalf? Im not interested in pursuing legal action for such details, but I may consider this soon. In the meantime I have the satisfaction of knowing the BBB complaint is filed against them, it is part of their records for 3 years (I think) and they cannot edit or delete the information. ??

     

    What a shame. I tend to be an optimist and trusting individual. Over the past 2-1/2 years I have encountered several less than honest business people. I still have numerous highly trusted service companies, but darn, this makes me suspicious of untested folks.

     I am rejecting this response because:
    Basically, I am being patient until all the items quoted in the contract are complete. I have been contacted by the owner and retransmitted all the previous texts and email documents. This time I believe progress will happen and look forward to finalizing this. Its difficult being on the homeowner side of this situation and waiting close to 4 months with an unfinished job to conclude.
