i had my roof replaced in early 2022. 20 year warrenty on shingles and 5 years labor. they had to reshingle the back side of my house in late 2023. Because of constant leaks. worse than my original roof. said he was going to do the front, when they receive more matching shingles. That was summer of 2023. In January of 2024, said they would do it this month. Here it is March and I have 2 big leaks from the front side of my house now. They even admitted that the old crew did bad work and they were replaced. *** contacted ***** and ******* several times and still nothing has been done. Im tired of putting bowls out every time it rains. I just want it fixed correctly. Im going to TV 2, on your side, complaint department next.

As a result of a severe hail storm on June 26, 2023, I contacted Crossover Roofing in Archdale, NC to inspect my roof. This coincided with their company providing a quote on August 25 and replacement of my roof on October 18, 19 and the gutters on the 23. A portion of the job was not completed as specified in the quote and some materials wrongly substituted. First, the copper chimney flashing was quoted in the replacement and not replaced. Second, the 3 lead pipe vent boots were also quoted and 2 were replaced with different materials due to wrong sizing. Third, my previous roofing system had custom drip edge that completely overlapped the area between the shingles and gutter top edge. The stock profile drip installed allows part of the facia to be exposed above sections of the gutter. Forth, the step flashing was included in the quote and none of this was replaced. In an additional job, the company was responsible for replacing a portion of the facia trim between two of the roof elevations. Half of this job was completed on December 12 incorporating PVC material, but the final decorative trim has not been installed. What is frustrating here is the workmanship provided is very good quality, but the job is incomplete. I was assured that the remaining items would be taken care of at the time payment on November 3 and December 12, but this has not happened. What is worse is that ********** Insurance was notified the work was complete on October 23 which prompted them to generate a final payment, but that report contains errors. Both the ********** adjusting agent and myself have attempted several contacts with Crossover Roofing including phone, text and email with no reply. I really don’t like utilizing this method, but it’s the next logical step in hopefully resolving this problem. Basically, I just want this company to honor their commitment and provide quality services.

I am rejecting this response because:

      Hello *******,

I want to document that is has now been over 2 weeks and no individual from Crossover Roofing has contacted me. I shouldnt express my opinion, but I expected this. Since this is my first time ever utilizing the BBB service I guess my response to their initial reply is somewhat pointless. If this is the case then let me know or is there any further action you can take on my

behalf? Im not interested in pursuing legal action for such details, but I may consider this soon. In the meantime I have the satisfaction of knowing the BBB complaint is filed against them, it is part of their records for 3 years (I think) and they cannot edit or delete the information. ??

What a shame. I tend to be an optimist and trusting individual. Over the past 2-1/2 years I have encountered several less than honest business people. I still have numerous highly trusted service companies, but darn, this makes me suspicious of untested folks.

      Thank you,

      Mr. *****

I am rejecting this response because:
Basically, I am being patient until all the items quoted in the contract are complete. I have been contacted by the owner and retransmitted all the previous texts and email documents. This time I believe progress will happen and look forward to finalizing this. Its difficult being on the homeowner side of this situation and waiting close to 4 months with an unfinished job to conclude.

      Thank you for your assistance.

Feb 2023 Crossover Roofing replaced the shingles on my house and outside building. Upon completion I noticed nails protruding all the way through the outside building awning. The wood is splintered and now unprotected as well as unsightly. Mary, the owner agreed to fix the issue. After the second call to Crossover about this, the installer did come out and look saying he had to discuss with his supervisor. Still no action. Early Sept my son called and Mary agreed to put soffit on the exposed area the first week in Oct. Today is Oct 11th. Still nothing from Crossover. It’s been 8 months. I want my building fixed.

On February 25, 2022 I contacted Crossover Roofing via BBB in order to have my Gable Vents and roofing replaced. On March 1, 2022 I made a deposit of $3500.00 for roofing shingles and free gutter guards. At that time Amy ****** stated that a quote for the gable vents would be provided later. I was also told that two packs of shingles would be provided in case of need repairs. The roofing shingles and gutter guards have been replaced. On Friday March 11, 2022, I reported to the Crossover Roofing Inspector that I did not receive the two packs of shingles or any other leftover items. As of this date I have not received a written quote or installation date for the Gable Vents. As a senior citizen and a disabled veteran I feel that I am not being treated fairly.

July 16,2021 Crossover Roofing installed a new roof for us. Invoice was paid in full August 6,2021. Amy said that the satellite would need to come off the roof and go on a pole and they would pay for it. When I made mention of it to her when she picked up the check she seemed a little startled and I said, oh, that's already included, and she said yes that's right (I just smiled). The more I thought about it the more I was like, hmmm. I did a review on August 27,2021. On August 31, 2021 there was a response from Crossover that we would get the money for the satellite and a little something else would be included. As of today's date, October 19,2021, we haven't gotten anything from Crossover Roofing.

She seemed a little surprise that I hadn't.    She verified the address and asked how much was the refund amount  and I told her.  She said okay she would get the check in the mail .

Crossover roofing was hired to replace our gutters and roof in August 2021 for a project totaling over $15000. Their staff was unprofessional, arrived without proper equipment, left debris in yard and damage to landscaping. Damage was also done to siding and roof sheathing during the roof replacement which was only partially repaired after multiple phone calls to their office. We were ensured that the job was not complete until we were completely satisfied, which has yet to occur. There is still significant damage to our roof sheathing (large chunks missing visible form inside the attic) due to crossover roofers slamming roofing materials onto the roof. At this point we do not want any further services or attempted repairs we simply want the remaining balance owed $1000 to be waived, an amount that would not begin to cover the expense of repairing the damaged sheathing.
