      Express Scripts is a broken company that constantly misrepresents itself. However, the issues arose on Express Scripts inability to process prescription requests. It took a full seven days to get approval from none other than their parent company for authorisation for the medication. ********* and CVS, which are not affiliated with Express Scripts, can process requests the same day. This is clearly a deliberate delay tactic. After the prescription had been sent, they then denied it and kicked it back to the doctors office for clarification. The doctors office then sent in a new script with the incorrect dose. They began processing it, and at which point I pointed out that it wasnt the proper dosing, so they kicked it back to the doctors office. Then, the doctors office, after a three-way call, sent the script back in just as they decided that we were no longer filling scripts for medication less than 90 days and kicked it back. I asked the ************** to write out a script for 90 days, but the insurance company went, Wait a minute, you were only approved for 28 days. Denied. Express Scripts is the worst and most incompetent group of medical professionals Ive ever dealt with. They have a team of pharmacists in a call centre just to smooth over customer complaints. Ive spoken to two people claiming to be pharmacists, only to find out that theyre pretending. This is medical malpractice and fraud. *** started tracking names to find out that theyre not licensed professionals but just hired customer service agents. The medical advice they provide is scripted from the manufacturer. I even found that they are not licensed in my state under any board. They operate a fraudulent business of smoke and mirrors, and when asked to prove otherwise, they couldnt. Express Scripts and Accedo are shell companies operating with the intention of saving insurance companies money, disregarding patient health and liability. They are dangerous.

      This is a horrible company. I was told one price and when I received my order the charge was almost $3,000.00. I have been fighting with the company since Feb 2025. They just charged me again for almost $1200.00. I have called them several times, and they have said they refunded my card. But they don't. I always have to call my credit card company. I have been waiting for a call from a supervisor to resolve this and no one has called be back. When I do call to speak with a supervisor, they claim they cannot refund me. I'm not paying for something I did NOT agree to.

      Late with my medication order. They blaming it on ***** when I called until I pushed them to tell me when they shipped it. They shipped it on the day it was due and I live several states away. Reviews of this company are laughable. No clue why regulators allow this company to continue operation. They ship lifesaving medication. Start acting like it.

      Most incompetent company I have ever dealt with. It's been 20 days since my prescription was sent to Accredo. I call every day and every one I speak to gives different information and everyone tells me ***** hours. Its been 20 days and I am still without my prescription

      Express Scripts/Accredo Pharmacy needs to be shut down immediately!!! They are constantly billing me incorrectly, leaving me with an outstanding balance, that should not be my responsibility - they never bill my copay assistance as they are supposed to!! They lie to me on the phone, stating that this is NOT an error on their end - then no sooner does my ********** call to advocate for me, they completely change their story, stating it WAS an error and they will look into it - mind you, this happens EVERY SINGLE TIME I GET A PRESCRIPTION FILLED!!! THEY DO NOT CARE - NOT ONE IOTA!!!! Even the pharmacists don't even know what they are talking about. If my insurance company did not require me to use this service for my biologic medications, I would for certain be going elsewhere! This company is FULL OF THEIVES AND LIARS!!!! THEY ARE PLAYING WITH PEOPLE'S LIVELIHOODS AND THEY SIMPLY DO NOT CARE IF PATIENTS DIE FROM THEIR CHRONIC CONDITIONS, BECAUSE THEY CANT EVEN SHIP MEDICATIONS OUT ON TIME, CAUSING PATIENT'S TO MISS THEIR DOSES. THIS IS COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE BUSINESS PRACTICES!!!

      Accredo specialty pharmacy is horrible! Ive been using them for almost 2 years and I dread having to call them for anything. Today put me over the edge Due to a error on their part I was charged when I shouldnt of been, after almost an hour on the phone I was first told I was responsible to pay it.. then I was told they would do me a courtesy and wave the charge. During my lovely hour I also had to listen to two reps arguing about who should take over on the call with me. The whole exchange was deeply unprofessional and I wish I could change pharmacies but I cant. I rated them a 1 star because 0 stars was not an option.

      Express Scripts is the pharmacy for my Part D Medicare coverage. After a year of being on Wegovy due to “risk of cardiovascular disease and events” with proof of past myocardial infarction and a stent in the artery in my lower left ventrical, Express Scripts stopped coverage of my medication at the highest dosage level and left me in horrible stomach cramps and nausea at the age of 75. My doctor turned in the same prior authorization in accordance with FDA guidelines as he submitted a year before when Express Scripts granted coverage ( your heart never “heals” from a heart attack- the scarring and dysfunction is permanent); but Express Scripts denied my authorization and continues to do so. After contacting a patient advocate explaining that I was not even allowed to titrate down so as to not have this terrible pain, Express scripts sent a fake
      “sympathy” letter and promised two prescriptions to cover me until I could be re-evaluated. I eagerly filled out the paperwork through tears and had my doctor submit the two prescriptions; only to again be promptly denied due to “no prior authorization”. This company is evil and cruel. They have turned over authorizations to Innovative Solutions, robotic evaluators that only grant a percentage of authorizations for expensive meds whether you qualify or not -just like United Healthcare was doing. We have to use Express Scripts because they are the pharmacy for PEBA, my wife’s state insurance plan as a retired teacher; but if you have a choice, run fast and hard away from this cruel, mean company!

      I have never worked with a company that is as poorly run as Express Scripts - and I've worked with thousands all over the world. I can only assume this ineptness is planned and purposeful. There is no way they can be this bad without direction and planning. They fail to fill prescriptions, require pre approval for the same medication over and over, request new prescriptions continually for the same medication, say they shipped out meds, then follow up with texts saying it needs preapproval. They run out of medication for months, their online system doesn't work correctly (Multiple escalations to IT because what i see doesn't match what the cust support team sees), I've spend hours and hours on the phone trying to straighten out our medications which have been the same for over a year, but have NEVER been able to just request a refill online without issues. And we are at their mercy as our insurance carrier gives us no other mail order option. Each request is treated as a "New" prescription requiring 7 days to "approve" and then 5 days for shipping. I ordered medication over 2 weeks ago, but "their system" shows 7 days ago when my last frustrated call resulted in a "new" order which started the 7 days all over again. i am without my medication AGAIN. This type of catastrophic failure, over and over, month after month can't be legal. I am hoping for some sort of intervention that will actually make a difference. How can this business have an A+ rating? There is no way it achieves any level of customer satisfaction.
