1 starBetween being on hold and actually talking to multiple people this was an over four hour affair. I made a reservation for my car rental and to be picked up. They never came nor answered the phone after being on hold for well over an hour and half. Called customer service which was a bigger waste of my time. The employees were not knowledgeable and completely unhelpful if anything made the situation worse. Told my only option was to pick up a car at a different location and have to use transportation to get there two days after my reservation date plus charge me over 120 dollars more and Im losing out on over two days with my car rental that I originally made. Extremely frustrated and would highly never recommend this company. Its a complete waste of time, energy, and money.Review fromCheri W

1 star************************* ********* ** *****. I will never use them again. I had a 1 oclock car rental reservation that I made 2 months in advance. When I arrived they said they didnt have anything and would call me when they did. I know they close at 5 so I called at 4:30 to see what was going on. After being on hold ******************************************************** I told them I couldnt get there by 5 I could be there at 5:30 and they said they couldnt wait but could put me in something the next morning with an hour wait. I told them to cancel.Review fromVictoria Y

1 starNot only did their representative set a time and pick up location- then not show up, the rep lied to her boss and said she didn't do it! I waited TWO hours in the parking lot of a repair shop before they finally sent someone- with a smaller vehicle, barley any gas, no wiper fluid AND it reeks of mildew! Lest I be remiss in not telling you that they 'happily' said the I could come into the store tomorrow evening and trade the car for the size that my insurance paid for!Review fromJamie N

1 starWe were placed in a enterprise rental by the dealership while our vehicle was being repaired. It was turned back in. We then got are deposit back along with the paperwork that we didnt owe anything. 4 months later I receive an email from there recovery unit for almost a **** bill saying we damaged the vehicle. I immediately called and the phone operator was rude along with the recovery agent ******. He said I couldnt dispute it because we turned the vehicle back into the dealership and not to enterprise itself. Which I was told by enterprise at the time I could leave the vehicle and they would go pick it up. He said it says that in the contract which I reviewed and didnt see in there. I then asked to speak with his manager which I had to leave a message. I then called back and spoke with different people who were able to help me and opened a dispute. Luckily I had kept my rental documents and when reviewing the photos the odometer which they had taken a photo of had ***** more miles on it then when we had it. I then called them back to give them this information. The manager eventually called me back and he wasnt rude but didnt really seem like he cared after I explained the situation.Took about a week to here back about my dispute. Then I got a phone call saying they decided not to peruse charges and have closed the case. I also received a letter via email basically saying they reviewed my concerns and they would take care of the cost. No apology in there anywhere for there s**** up.Review fromDiana H

1 starThis company is not even worthy of one star! I was lied to about my reservation for a Suburban. I had reserved one and was counting on it for my daughters wedding and when I got there, they did not have it for me. They had sent me a text verifying that if I still wanted it that week and I assured them I did! No one called to tell me they didnt have one reserved. They just let me show up and said we have a minivan for you, or a ****** Armada!! WTH!! I had a *************************************** There was no remorse from the employees, who acted bored with my problem or District Manager who was saying anything he could to placate me!!! I will never ever use Eterprise car rental again! They will lie for your business and not care. I ended up walking out without the promised vehicle for my daughters wedding!! Do not give this company your business they are not worthy and will not stand behind what they say. I hope they go out of business and I will spread the word.Review fromBeatrice P

2 starsEnterprise Rent-A-Car
Post
Ok let me start by saying, I gave two
stars because ********,the young
Hispanic guy that I returned the car
to at the Ft.Lauderdale Airport ,was
very nice and listened to my
concerns.I rented a vehicle for
Mon.April 3 -5, I let enterprise pick
because it never dawned on me that
they would try to force me into a big
SUV.It was just 1 person on
business. The price was the same if
I had of just picked a car in advance.
I should have known there was catch. A guy told me to go over to the little enterprise
stand.The young black girl proceeds
to tell me "We only have
Tahoe,Suburban and these other big
Suv,s.I asked her for a smaller car
and she said what did you think you
were going to get.l simply wanted a
Tovota.Nissan or something smaller that
made sense for Miami and a smaller
ladylike vehicle .The girl then
proceeds to tell me I can downgrade
the vehicle for 40.00 extra,which
sounded crazy,but ok,l get the
insurance and also pay the extra
40.00.Im a government employee,l
rent from enterprise all the time but
I need to change.l get in the car
which was a red Toyota and the
middle console is broken.I arrived at
my destination and noticed that the
undercarriage of the car was
hanging as if someone before me
were jumping every hump and bump
in that car and it rattled a little.I
returned the car on 4-5-
23.********,the Hispanic gentleman
was awesome because I was mad
but after speaking with him,l was
ok.That little black girl from the start
attitude just doesn't fit with what I'm
use to concerning enterprise, just
awful

1 starIn my experience Enterprise has horrible customer service. We are appalled at their lack of communication and follow-through. We rented a car that had a tire blow out and we were left on the side of the road. They sent someone to change the tire but it was a spare they said we couldnt drive on and didnt provide ** with a replacement vehicle. We kept waiting for their call. Long story short they left ** without a rental and still charged ** over $400. Its robbery. We are fighting to get our money back.Review fromNyra G

1 starI rented a car from Enterprise *********, ** location and yesterday afternoon I was pulled over by a police officer to whom advised after running the license plate the car came up as uninsured and the inspection sticker was expired. We received two tickets and turned the car in today 4/4/23. After discussing what all transpired with the police encounter the associate asked why we didn't show our personal insurance car to the officer? The audacity, he was unapologetic and brushed the entire situation off and stated he'll have to run this matter by management (no resolution, no apology, no end to this). However, we're left to deal with traffic court (miss a day of work) with hopes the tickets will get thrown out. This is unacceptable and I will take this up with Enterprise corporate office as well, something has to be done.Review fromCandace H

1 star3/7/23 I reserved my rental for O'Fallon IL location at 1700 for p/u at 1730. Upon arrival I found out that the app lets you book despite them closing at that time. I did get a rental which was a Toyota Camry. I left at 1745 drove the vehicle about 2 blocks and realized the vehicle ran horribly-I immediately turned around and went back-the lights were being turned off when I parked in a spot. I drove directly to Enterprise on Natural Bridge, Mo. I arrived at 1845 and spoke with **** the manager. I notified him that I didn't feel the vehicle was safe to drive. He stated " I understand but I don't have any vehicles at this time." I called Enterprise and was transferred to Roadside Assistance. Roadside stated to me that she was putting a order in for a different vehicle, that she could see other vehicles available and to go back to the counter and notify the manager. I went back to the counter to be notified by the same manager that he understands but is still unable to assist me. I asked for corporate's number and was given. I called and another rep stated that when the vehicle does not seem safe that the co. will accommodate and I will be given another vehicle. After speaking with multiple reps-he still declined. Another rep stated "I'm going to notify corporate they will be calling you within the next hour." I waited and a different associate attempted to help and the manager nudged his elbow and told him walk to the back. He came back with the key and stated "We are unable to assist you." After 3 hrs., a worker yells "Its a Tacoma back there!" Another worker responded "It has a bad tire!" I asked "Is the tire bad?" He responded "No the pressure light was on..you''ll make it!" Corporate never returned my call. Before pulling off a young worker runs outside to states" I'm sorry for what's going on." The next day I went to my O'Fallon location and had no issues getting into a different vehicle. Natural Bridge location pitiful and I don't recommend!!!! 0 StarsReview fromEvelyn W

1 starWorst experience ever. Rented from ************, they gave me a Jeep Grand Cherokee, said it was covered by my Allstate ins. A few days later they called to tell me it would be $9.00 a day out of my pocket, gave option to exchange car. I was out of state by then. At least 12 calls from them during the month I had the vehicle. Called me about the $9.00 a day I needed to pay. I didnt ask for the Jeep, its the one they said Allstate would cover. Also said my 30 day coverage was up in 27 days. their Agent ****** told me I should rent the ***** Spark. Never been treated as a customer so rudely. Need a car for next 1 1/2 months, will not use enterprise.
