SST took over servicing a loan a had taken out from a different vendor. Since then this account has been reported incorrectly multiple times on my credit report, first being shown as closed with no balance; second, as transferred to another lender; third, showing they have the account and it has a balance; and now as the account is again apparently no longer with this company they refuse to report it accurately on my credit. They are saying we don't have an account with them, but they are still reporting to my credit, will not update the the account to show it in charged-off status on my credit, report it was transferred to another company and will not provide me with documentation that my account has been charged off. I have disputed it with the credit bureaus, but SST refuses to supply complete and accurate information upon their request.Business Response

I am rejecting this response because:
I called your credit dispute department and was greeted with hostility before I even had said one word to the lady on the other end, apparently from whatever the customer service rep who had transferred me said to her. She refused to help in any way included providing me with documentation that this debt is charged off and when. I don’t disputed that is it charged off. YOUR company, not Goldman Sach nor *******, is not stating on my credit report that this account is in fact charged off. ******* ***** nor ******* can change what YOUR company is reporting to the credit bureaus. Furthermore, the EXACT same day I made the call to your credit dispute department they went in and reported/updated it incorrectly again. All I want is for it to be reported correctly as charged off with the credit bureaus. It seemed like a pretty simple request.
Sincerely,
****** *******Business Response

Agency refused to provide my funds in the timeline that was provided! Various agents informed me it would take 3 business days for me to receive my payment after I submitted my request. When I submitted my request it told me it would take up to 3 business days. It has been well over 3 business days and I’m still getting the runaround about my funds and the agents refuse to allow me to speak with someone higher.Business Response

Issue I opened an account with **********. All payments due had been made on time automatically debited from my account. ********** decided to send my account to System & Services Technologies "SST". That account number ******** Client: ********** my payments continued seamlessly on-time automatically. I did not have any issues.
On July 20th, 2024, I called SST and requested I payoff amount, and paid off the account. The SST representative that took the payment explained I would need to wait 15 days. In those 15 days SST will inform Cross River Bank that my account was paid in full on my ********** loan and the security interest on the Saving Account would be paid to me. It was crucial that I understood only after the 15 days could I request the funds. On 04th day if Aug2024 I request my funds and was told it would be deposited into my bank in 3 business days. Aug. 7th No funds received. I called SST back and was told wait 2 more days. Aug 9th still no funds. I called SST and was told call back on the Aug 10th if the funds were not received and the agent would escalate my concern. Aug 10th still no funds. I called SST and the agent advised me they would send an email and I should eventually get my funds. I also received an email from SST and it stated If I did not received my funds to call ************ for assistance. No one has been able to explain why I did not receive my Security interest on the saving account about 1900.00. Please help me understand what the issue is.

My account has been paid in full as of 6/25/2024. I have contacted the company to mark this account as paid and submit it to the credit bureaus. When I spoke with the representative they said I would receive a letter in the mail in 20 days showing my account was paid and it would be updated with the credit bureaus. I have never received any correspondence from this company showing my payments. This account still shows active and unpaid on all of my credit reports. I have filed a claim on credit karma and there has been zero response. I want this account marked as paid in full and updated/removed from my credit report. I have attached proof of payments I made and that the account still shows I have a balance.Business Response

I been paying this company $100 a week that was our agreement. My original payment was $387.42 a month I’ve been paying them $400 a month. I spoke to them multiple times some months I even paid more than $400. They change my due date they told me on the phone and it’s even on the recordings that all for supervisors ****** ******** ******* and ******* told me. They’ve been falsely reporting on my credit report that I haven’t made any payment since March of this year and reported that I miss March April, May, June and July payment when I submitted my bank statements to them and they said they see everything and it’s a misunderstanding, but they’re not able to fix my credit report they told me. I spoke to several managers multiple representatives. They have actually no clue what they are doing. They don’t know how to communicate and they are falsely reporting incorrect information on credit report, which is not fair to me when I am a loyal, customer has been making all my payments on time, and they refused to fix my credit report.Business Response

My loan at Goldman Sachs was taken over for servicing by SST in December 2023. I am multiply disabled with multiple overlapping functional disabilities, but I was able to make all my payments at Goldman Sachs without trouble since I had researched and chosen their loan based on how their site was extremely accessible to me.
SST Servicing has still failed to provide me with basic ADA accommodation requests since I first made a request in December 2023. There are full details below, but in summary, this is what I require:
1. Removal of ALL derogatory marks on my credit report, as the only reason I haven't paid is because I'm being denied ADA accommodations.
2. An document/web view accessible to -me- to review my statement, after which I will gladly pay *full* payoff amount, either through an accessible payment portal or another means accessible to me.
//A full description of the basic access requested//
Communication and informational option(s) that let me:
1. Review my bill in an accessible way. The site is inaccessible. Also, I cannot read black-on-white text so paper statements don't work, and I cannot hear properly on phone calls to ensure accuracy.
2. Pay my bill in an accessible way. The site is inaccessible. I cannot pay by phone as I cannot confirm details due to auditory difficulties. I can send in a check by snail mail, but that would require accurate an accessible way to review my bill, per the previous point.
Note: Please note that per the ADA, it is illegal to require someone to provide their own interpreter or helper. Several recent lawsuits have confirmed this basic right.
There is no resolution until the derogatory marks are removed. It is only derogatory because you have violated the ADA, which also means you are violating FTC rules.Business Response

I had a personal loan through ******. In March of 2024 SST started either started handling or bought my loan. When this happened, I made payment to SST. In May of 2024, I was in the process of buying a house and the bank paid off my loan, and I made a regular payment on my loan. Hence, my loan was overpaid by apparently 915.78. My record actually show that the account was overpaid by 969.74. Either way, it is now 6/17/2024. I have yet to receive my refund. They are 1st of all collecting interest on my money. I actually would like to be paid the interest as well as my money owed.Business Response

My original personal loan was transferred from ************** to SST and I made the final payment in full on 5-7-24. SST told me that it would take 15-20 business days for the account to fully close and for near $900 in overpayment to be refunded to me. I called on the 15th business day and the 20th business day. I called on 6-7-24 and 6-8-24 and spoke with two different supervisors "****** and *****" and both said the same thing which was that they had no control over the closing department but would escalate the request for the account to close and the money to be refunded. I had taken out a personal loan in 2020, over the phone with Goldman Sachs, and the interest rate was already high with a 774 Credit Score. No matter, I've made consistent, automatic payment withdrawals, and then found out my loan was sold a few months ago to SST. I've contacted them a few times regarding a payoff amount, and they would give me a number higher than the actual remaining amount, and was still including the interest for 15 months remaining, within my payoff! I have asked for a return phone call back, and the poor girl, with whom I was speaking with was unable to understand my question, or the mathematics involved. On hold numerous times, past and present, no answers, told I am going to receive a call back from a managing supervisor, no one calls back, office closed. Etc! These people are not honest or forthcoming, and I would never want this group handling my finances as they have had a horrible reputation in the past, as this has happened with this company before, in the 90's. I want to pay the balance left in full in the amount, which actually should be $4105.00! Thank you for any assistance in this matter.Business Response
