I received a notice that I have a collection from SST/******** on my credit report. It says it was opened on 03/01/2017 for $20130 with account number starting in ********* that I am not aware of nor am I responsible for. I never went into business with this company or signed any agreements with them so they should not be reporting anything on my credit. This is a violation of my rights as a consumer according to the FCRA and FDCPA.
I would like for this collection to be removed asap or I will file a CFPB and FTC report.Business Response

We’ve completed our initial review of the account in question and found the following:
On March 14, 2017, ******* and ***** ********** signed an Agreement (“the Contract”) financing
$13,002.10 for the purchase of a 2017 Kaufman Cargo Trailer. According to the Contract, the
************ agreed to make 120 monthly payments of $209.37, beginning on April 13, 2017.
A welcome call was completed and the borrower/co-borrower did not dispute the loan at that time.
Seven payments were made on the loan with multiple phone calls between borrowers and our agents
which took place in between the fraud dispute. We have concluded the fraud investigation and found
there to be no validity to *** ************ fraud claim. Request for account to be deleted is denied.
The Account charged-off March 31, 2018. As of 1/11/2023, the estimated payoff on the Cargo Trailer

My account was transferred from ****** to this company since ****** is no longer dealing with borrow and grow accounts. I have made all of my payments to ****** prior to being transferred but now this company SST is trying to say I am past due which is not correct and they continue to report me as late to the credit bureaus. I tried to call for assistance and was given an email to send my proof of payments. When i attempted to call this company their customer service representative refuses to give me an ETA of when this matter will be resolved. I want them to correct their records and to stop reporting me incorrectly as past due. By the way the correct phone number for SST is **** **** ****. . Also please note I have made a payment directly to SST by my due date. There is no missing payment. I tried uploading both images but your system will only allow for one. We’ve completed our review of the account in question and found the following:
On March 22, 2022, ***** ******* entered into and signed for a Savings-Secured Loan (“the
Contract”) financing $6,000.00. According to the Contract, ***** ******* agreed to make 86
bi-weekly payments of $100.00, beginning on April 14, 2022, with one final payment of $50.00.
A portion of the Signature Loan funds were deposited in a Savings Account held by ***** ***** *****
On or about December 5, 2022, ****** transferred servicing of the Signature Loan Accounts to SST.
Notice of this transfer is prominently displayed on their website, **********. The Savings Account
created as part of the loan transaction has remained at all times with ***** ***** *****
The terms and conditions of ***** *******’ Loan Account remain unchanged and the Savings
Account at ***** ***** **** remains open with a balance of $2,000.00. Once her balance of
$5,014.38 is paid, SST will advise ***** ***** **** to unlock the Account and release the funds.
At the time of transfer, *** ******* was under paid by $15 and as a result ****** showed her past
due for that at transfer. On November 23, 2022, *** ******* made payment of $100 with ******. Of
that amount, $15 was applied towards a late fee with $85.00 going to principal, leaving the scheduled

Complaint: ********
I am rejecting this response because:This response has nothing to do with the complaint that they are stating my account is behind $100 when I have sent them information showing why their records are not correct. The continue to call and send letters stating I am past due and have continue to report me to the credit bureau as past due. This response only solidifies the fact that they won't research a legitimate complain from a customer. Also, ****** never charged us to use our ATM cards as payment so they are NOT doing the same thing as ****** with regards to processing payments. I am not behind $100, I have sent your company 3 separate emails with my proof as your representatives requested since they claimed there was a back office that reviews this information. Instead of a generic response, please research this and update your records. It's even more insulting that I didn't choose your business, I was transferred to you and you ar not even doing the basics of your job.

I had a loan with ****** that was unfortunately sold and bought out by SST. the website I was sent to would not show me loan balances or balances in my savings. I decided I wanted to be done with this it’s it looked extremely shady so I paid the loan off in full on December 12, 2022. I was assured by the person I spoke to on the phone that my account was paid in full and no further payments would be taken. Further the amount paid was $17.90 above the payoff amount so I am actually due back for an overpayment as well. Today 12/15/2022 I woke up to an automatic payment of $100 taken. I called customer support and the lady I spoke with stated she doesn’t have access to see transactions today. How is that even possible? She also stated to me that my savings account with cross river which was to be released upon pay off of the loan would take a MINIMUM of 30 days to process and it would be a check. So not only are they continuing to take payments on a loan that is fully paid off, they are also refusing to release the savings account tied to this as well. This is in violation of the original terms of the ****** loan that they acquired. I am demanding two things - the $100 payment taken illegally out of my account be returned IMMEDIATELY and my savings account balance to be expedited. There is zero reason it takes a minimum of 30 days to pay someone. Failure to comply will result into looking at further legal action against SST.Business Response

In Jan 2022, I applied and was approved for a loan of $1300.00 with ******. $650 came to me via ACH and $650 was supposed to set aside in a savings account. On Dec 5th at approximately 6 am, I received an email from ****** stating my account would no longer be serviced by **** ** and that SST would be taking over. After making my payments of $60 every two weeks for almost a year, I had a small balance left of $148.00. I paid that off on Dec 7 (including the 4.95 fee for the online ACH payment). It is now time for me to collect or gain access to my savings totaling $651.88 and SST is holding up the process. I have received several different responses to my inquires from SST, including my funds would be wired to the bank account in which my last payment, that I would be mailed a check within 10 days, now I'm being told it can take up to 30 days to get money owed to me. I don't know what to believe when dealing with this company and with ******. I just want my money so I can give my kids a good Christmas and Jan 7th is not acceptable. I just want what's mine and what I'm contractually entitled to. Between **** ** and SST, they need to figure out a better way to get customers what's owed to them.Business Response

Dear BBB,
I took out a Borrow & Grow Loan from ****** on 9/19/2022 for $3500. The loan has 2 parts: $1,000 which was deposited directly into my checking upfront & $2500 added to ****** savings that would be made available in 24 mos. when the terms of the loan were me. Monthly payments of $200 payable the 1st of each mo. I contacted ****** on 10/24 requesting restructuring of the loan due to salary reduction. They kindly modified the loan & reduced payments to $100/mo. On 12/3 ****** emailed a notice saying all Borrow & Grow Plan holders were being transferred to SST and that all terms would remain the same. This has not been the case. I called twice this week and the SST reps I spoke with are ill-informed, rude, and kept repeating over and over that my payment in the system is showing as $200. I made a $100 payment online on 12/5 as our SST account numbers were not made available until that date. I have since called ****** and a rep stated they no longer have access to Borrow & Go Plan Member account info since the loans were sold. My SST account number is: ********* I am attaching all required documents including both loan agreements (original and modified) as well as correspondence from ****** to me and me to SST. All that I am asking for SST to honor their commitment to keeping the terms the same per ******'s written correspondence (also attached). My account is now showing as delinquent in their system. I would avoid anyone to steer clear of SST as this truly has been a nightmare company to deal with. Can you please assist? Many thanks! - ****** *********Business Response

payments of $200.00, beginning on October 1, 2022, with a final payment of $2.40. On
December 5, 2022, the Account was assigned to SST for servicing.
On December 6, 2022, *** ********* contacted SST via email stating her loan terms were changed in
October with the prior servicer as she had a reduction in salary, so her monthly payment was reduced to
$100.00. SST showed the original payment amount due and borrower did not want this to adversely

In Jan of 2022 I entered into a borrow and grow plan for 4000$ with ******* I received 2000$ upfront and 2000$ was deposited into a savings account. My payments were 160$ for 36 months. Once I paid back the 4000$ plus interest I would receive the money in the savings account. I paid my loan off on Dec 2,2022 per my contract with ****** I would have access to my savings account and could transfer the money into my bank account electronically. Well after I paid my loan off I was notified that SST had my account now I contacted them and asked when I would have access to my money in my savings account per the contract I signed it says I would receive my money in 7 days via bank transfer. SST is now telling me I have to wait 30 days to have a checked mailed to me I never signed a contract with SST haven’t seen any documentation from SST stating there rules or policies jus was told by a representative it would take 30 days by mail to receive my money. I think they are holding my money hostage to collect the interest. It’s my money release if I held up to my obligation per the contract.Business Response

I had a borrow and grow plan with ****** and I paid it off a week ago. Paying off that loan in full was supposed unlock my savings of 2,500 that I was supposed to be able to withdraw yesterday per an email I received from a ****** rep. Over the weekend I logged into check the status of my savings and everything was gone and there was a statement on ******'s website saying that the borrow and grow loans were now being serviced by SST. I was on the phone and on hold with SST first thing yesterday morning trying to find the 2,500 that is rightfully mine and they didnt formally have a record of it. I was told I had to wait 10 days from the time the loan was paid and that I can email documentation from my bank to show it was taken out of my checking. The company was also supposed to email a new account number to log into their site based on ******a letter and I never received that either. I sent in all of my documentation and haven't heard anything back. The savings is rightfully mine and I'm not getting any status of where that money is or when I will have access to it. I'm depressed and suicidal after dealing with the unauthorized use of my personal information.
Which resulted in this unauthorized item on my credit report. I sent letters over 30 days ago and they failed to get back with me with sufficient validation. This account violates the FDCPA and must be deleted immediately because those are serious violations and I could be compensated for them.Business Response

We appreciate the opportunity to respond to the above-referenced complaint your office brought to our
attention. Systems and Services Technologies, Inc. (“SST”) is a loan servicing and payment processing
company that is committed to resolving customer service issues in a cooperative and expeditious manner.
We’ve completed our initial review of the Account and found the following:
On October 12, 2017, ********* ****** signed a contract with ********* **** financing $10,213.23 to
purchase a 2018 Kaufman W50 Black Cargo Trailer. According to the Contract, Ms. ****** agreed to
make 84 monthly payments of $215.96 beginning on November 12, 2017. On October 13, 2017, the
Account was transferred to SST to service and a welcome letter was sent to advise of the transfer.
Ms. ****** made her monthly payments until her last online payment on December 9, 2019 in the
amount of $427.88, bringing the Account current for the December 26, 2019.
On February 21, 2020, SST began the repossession process due to Ms. ******** representation that the
trailer was in jeopardy as it was in possession of a third-party who refused to return it. Ms. ****** gave
the last known location of the cargo trailer for SST to recover. Unfortunately, as of this date, SST has
been unable to find and recover the trailer.
On April 30, 2020, Ms. ******** Account charged-off due to it being 127 days past due with a balance
of $9,100.89.
SST reports accurate information to the three major credit bureaus -- ********* ******** *** ***** *****
-- on a monthly basis. SST does not remove or correct information unless such information is later
deemed inaccurate. According to SST’s review, it is currently reporting Ms. ******** account
accurately.
