According to our records, your policy was cancelled on August 4th following your phone call. We understand your concern regarding the denied claim at the **** dealership. Our records indicate that the administrator reviewed the situation and determined that the issue involved a loose bolt, which was not classified as a covered mechanical failure under the terms of the contract. We do highly recommend that you contact the policy administrator directly for a more detailed explanation of the claim decision, as they are the ones responsible for claims review and approval.
Please feel free to reach out if you have any further questions or if theres anything else we can assist you with.

This transaction took place over the phone on June 9th 2025. I got a envelope in the mail telling me I should give them a call. The envelope made it look like it was *** the manufacture of the company I bought this from. I was also due for a check up and the *** K5 i have also had a recall just recently for an update with the car. So I was expecting this call to be about scheduling an appointment with them. When I was able to get on the phone with them they asked me if I experienced anything wrong with my car recently and I did have one issue that popped up once and they told me about this coverage I need to get. Mind you I already have coverage on this car with insurance and a protection plan I got with the car so my car is covered pretty well. They then told me none of that covers this one thing and I told them I should be fine without it. They then gave me a long talk about why I should have this for my car. They then told me if I act now I can get a good deal which was like 50 cheaper a month or something like that. I asked if I can call them back as I would look more into this and look at my current protection plan but they said I would lose the offer. They tried very hard to keep me on the phone and then I told them my information and then if I did not like what I saw I would then cancel it. So after the call I saw negative reviews about the company and my current plan covered everything I wanted. I called them back within ************************************************* to not but we agreed on the phone to cancel. I got my money back the same week but I was not sure if it was them that did it or my credit card company. One month later I get that same charge. I called them again and they told me I never asked for me to cancel it but I did. So I asked them again and told them to cancel it and give me my money back. After the call I ended up canceling my card just to be safe so i would not have to deal with this next month. I need them to never charge me again.Business Response

Recently purchased a warranty through Eleras for a 2020 ***** Silverado I bought at the beginning of the year. When called to purchase warranty I was only asked two things, does it have any issues - which it didn't - and the miles. First week of July the truck shut down and local ***** dealer evaluated transmission had blown out. Every dealing with Eleras afterward has been the WORST nightmare and makes this company look like a sham run by unprofessional idiots. Upon the dealership diagnosis, Eleras said it would have to send an inspector to verify dealers work. Two weeks go by and Inspector does not show up on date scheduled. Few days later inspector actually shows up but tells Eleras they "lost their notes." Following week another inspector shows up and denies claim because truck was lifted and had aftermarket wheels. I called them very upset because this was not disclosed or even mentioned when I purchased the warranty. They said it was supposed to come in the contract they sent through mail which I had actually already notified them I never got - upon notifying them all they did was give a contract # but no contract. They verified the contract got lost somewhere in the mail because it never made it to my mailbox. Upon telling them of their error they have now switched the narrative that they will not be covering my claim because of a mileage discrepancy. Keep in mind that every time this business says they will contact me they never do and I end up waiting 40 minutes each time just to have the phone answered. I would highly recommend against doing business with a company that does not conduct business in an honest manner. Immensely greedy salespeople who will say anything to sell you a warranty and not cover anything.Business Response

To Whom It May Concern:
Thank you for reaching out and sharing your experience. We sincerely apologize for the frustration and inconvenience youve encountered.
After a thorough review of your claim and account, we want to clarify the following:
Our records indicate your policy was issued and delivered on May 9, and it outlines that vehicles with aftermarket modificationssuch as lift kits or non-factory wheelsare not eligible for coverage. We apologize for any confusion that may have caused. However, per our policy, modifications that impact vehicle performance or factory components must be disclosed during the purchase process. Additionally, the mileage reported at the time of claim submission did not match the mileage provided during enrollment. Unfortunately, as a result, and in accordance with our policy terms, the claim was denied.
Again, we apologize for the negative experience and any misunderstanding. If there is anything further you may have questions please reach out to customer service. Thank you.

On July 21, 2025, my 89 year old father with dementia received a letter in the mail with no company name , e-mail or address. It was titled "Home warranty Division" and, in bold type, "2025 FINAL ATTEMPT." It was signed by a "****** Wellingford, program director" with a phone number of ************. Thinking it was for his homeowners insurance, he called the number, and they coerced him into sending a debit card payment of $179 for what he thought was a forgotten payment When he finally showed me the letter, Recognizing a scam,I immediately contacted his bank, who instructed me to call the business and cancel the transaction. When calling the company;s automated system, the Option #4 (Cancel your service), gets you immediately disconnected. I then used option #2 (billing) and reached a person who I asked to immediately credit back the $179, and revoked authorization for charges to my father's debit card (I have my father's Power of Attorney), I was then transeferred to another customer Service agent (***** *****), it was then I learned the company was operating under the name 4ever home protection. They had roped my father into a 3 year "Home protection" scheme. Nothing in the letter that was sent mentions anything about a long term contract. It uses phrases like "Your home warranty is expiring, or may have already expired" and "please call immediately, as this will be our final attempt to notify you", "Failure to call could result in a lapse in coverage". All language designed to confuse a consumer. Again, there is no company name, address, or e-mail anywhere in the correspondence. Through the confirmation e-mail I had ***** ***** send me, I discovered the company operating under the umbrella name "eleras group" Ms. ***** assured me their company had an A+ rating with the BBB, I found a few "4ever home" companies listed on the BBB site, but not sure which one is theirs. This company is misleading consumers at best, and is an outright scam at the worst.Business Response

This company will not remove my information from their mailing list and keeps sending me marketing letters titled Final Notice for a vehicle coverage plan on a vehicle I have never owned. I've called them and told them to remove my information and to not contact me but yet they still keep sending me marketing material and obviously haven't removed my information. Please do not ever contact me again and remove my personal information from Eleras Group database.Business Response

I'm receiving mailer from this company again. A few years ago I was hounded by them and I finally got them to stop. I never have had a vehicle warranty contract with this company, not would I. they are telling me my coverage is about to lapse and I should activate their coverage soon. I don't have the vehicle they are referring to any loner. If I did, it would still have the new car coverage for another 15 months. In my opinion this is nothing but a scam. My resolution is: that me off their mailing list permanently and never contact me again.Business Response

I purchased a policy with eleras automotive but decided to cancel it before the thirty day deadline. I purchased the policy on March ******* and cancelled on April ****** because I realized that I would not be able to afford it. I have spoken to several people at this company and each one gives me a different reason why I haven't received my refund. I never received a contract or a contract number from them and I have been calling but getting no where with them.Business Response

To Whom It May Concern:
Thank you for reaching out to us. We truly apologize for the inconvenience you've experienced. Our records indicate that we attempted to issue the refund on April 10, 2025, but unfortunately, the transaction was declined by your bank. This appears to be an issue with the banks processing, rather than with our company. We recommend contacting your bank directly to inquire about the declined transaction and to resolve the refund issue. Again, were sorry for the frustration this has caused and appreciate your understanding.

There was never an attempt to refund my money because they never had my account number. I paid the deposit with a debit card not my bank account information, so the information that they have presented in not true. They can send my deposit directly to that same debit card. I sometimes turn my card off when not in use and I explained that to them when I spoke to one of the representative. They could have sent my deposit by now, no more excuses. Thank You,

We were called about our Cars Warranty. I believed them to be true. They had all my information and such. I agreed to pay a 1 time fee of ******. 3 Days later we got another piece of mail from the company saying we still haven't paid them. We call today to be told we signed up for a MONTHLY Subscription. Told the agent to cancel the transaction and refund our money. They hung up on me. Called back to be left on hold for 30 mins. When we finally got thru they said we needed the warranty incase of an accident. Finally got them to refund the money but this is still a hassle and I don't want them doing this to other people.Business Response

I am filing this complaint due to Eleras Group LLCs failure to return all payments made for a vehicle service contract that was voided due to a mileage discrepancy.I made an initial down payment of $159 on January 3, followed by monthly payments of $159 in February and March, totaling $477. I did not receive any of the services promised under the contract.I first discovered that the contract was void when I attempted to use the coverage. I took my vehicle to a mechanic, and when the shop attempted to contact the provider to use the warranty, they were informed that the contract could not be honored due to a mileage discrepancy. I was told that the coverage was never activated and that a new contract would need to be written. I was not made aware of this issue prior to attempting to use the service.Following this, I wrote a letter to Eleras Group LLC requesting a full refund, as the contract was void from the start and I had never been eligible to receive the services I paid for. Despite this, the company has not tried to resolve the issue. I have called multiple times and have received no meaningful response. The only action the company has taken was sending me a partial refund check for $114.** on July 11, which does not reflect the full amount I paid. Since the contract was never valid and no services were rendered, I am requesting a full refund of $477.Resolution Sought: Full refund of $477 for a voided and unused vehicle service contract.Business Response
