  I’m in the process of moving using Cita Van Lines. I would LOVE to leave a good review for them here. However, things have stalled out. I’m currently in my new place. I’ve already paid Cita Van Lines $2,000.00. They now have my possessions as well. They will not answer my phone calls now. I’m not sure if I should call the police just yet. I’m hoping that they will bring my things to me and this can be settled and put behind us.

  I moved with Cita Van Lines a year ago. It was an incredibly disappointing and frustrating experience. I was assigned to this moving company by a moving broker, who assured me that this company was reputable and was of no help when I had problems. In summary - don't use this company.
  
  My initial experience with the first team was decent, however, communication was not ideal. The movers did not speak English very well and did not explain to me that my "drop off" date would be the day they would START to move my items out of storage. I was under the impression that they would be delivering on said date and ended up being without my items for much longer than expected, as well as paying extra for "storage". Although there was miscommunication, these movers were kind, considerate, and cleaned up after themselves. I left them a nice tip and filled out a good review for them on a paper they provided.
  
  The second half of my move was HORRENDOUS. I was told that I would be given 24 hours notice before the movers arrived. I was not notified until that afternoon, while I was at work. I was eventually able to negotiate for them to come in the evening when I would be home. Only one mover came to unload my items. He was incredibly rude and careless with my things. He left garbage all over my apartment and was offended that I didn't have bottled water for him (despite that I drink tap water myself). As a single woman, I felt very unsafe and kept my sister on the phone the entire time. I started unboxing things and many items were broken and damaged. My apartment floor was also damaged by the mover being rough with furniture. The mover was very gruff and left without giving me the option to leave a review. Obviously, I did not give a tip. The most disappointing part of this experience was that the company never gave me a refund or supported me after my bad experience. I called numerous times. I was told that they would look into things and get back to me. They never did.

  Cita Van Lines broke an antique table, lost screws and 3 leaves for antique table, lost mirror brackets and screws for two antique dresser, broke a piece off of an antique ice box and kept changing delivery times. These were all treasured family heirlooms. Worst moving experience I’ve ever had! And after all that they offered $75 to fix and/or replace items.

  PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. If your last option is to pack up your stuff and drive across the US. Do that. This entire company and everyone I’ve spoken to during my entire move was a lie. From pricing. To when my load was going to arrive. I was up charged twice. EVERY SINGLE ONE OF MY ITEMS ARE DAMAGED OR BROKEN. I called to speak to the “business manager” he said, “ well that’s why we have insurance “ did not apologize. Did not care. If I could post pictures of all my items I would. It was a shame that he blamed the broker who sold him the load. That I needed to ask them for a refund. Also, if you are looking to use Global Elite Relocation Services- don’t they sold them the load and both of their customer service is nonexistent. When the driver arrived to my building. It was ONE driver unloading a 1300 sqft house with one dolly. Alone. Carrying king size mattresses, dressers, 75 inch tv’s the list goes on. Please do not use them.
