I had a negative experience, unfortunately, regarding a more well known site, REMOVED(owned by Vintage Software.) I subscribe to their newsletter in order to find local estate sales I may want to go to. I was disturbed to see one full of REMOVEDmemorabilia. The seller, no surprise, was completely private and only accepting cash. I reached to REMOVEDto request a copy of their terms and conditions, and was able to find out that these items, or, to be specific, posting photos of these items, broke their policy about offensive items. I requested they be flagged and removed, via their policy. The contact person I spoke with was nothing but timely and polite. However, she explained to me that, even with multiple attempts to reach out to their compliance team, they could not provide me with a timeline on when they would investigate the photos (that I provided a link to) and consider removing them. Well, unfortunately, they never did. So much for policies they don't actually follow. How disappointing. What is the point of having supposed company values if you don't practice them when such a situation as this REMOVEDone, arises?
