On October 6, 2021, BBB sent a letter to Tactical Shit News with its concerns. The company responded on October 6, 2021 stating, “…recent complaints are due to the ammunition supply chain crisis and all orders will be shipped, substituted, upgraded or refunded as per the terms of our website. A mass email was sent to all customers from the CEO [on October 5, 2021] explaining all of the issues we are having.”

I ordered a couple triggers and a patch from tactical shit I was assured early on that they were backorder so I assumed it would be a while I contacted them a month latter and they said I would send a tracking number when they arrived so I assumed so and apologize I waited another month and they said they would be sent out the following week a month latter no triggers so I sent another email and was sent a message that everyone had an order behind due to high volume I never had a problem before what bothered me was when the patch was sent there was no tracking for the triggers and 4 months In no triggers and its Taking a while to get a response if any now I use to be able to talk to a rep now just hoping to get a response to assure they are still coming or a refund if there not been a real disappointment on how this order was handled and I have been taken by a company that robbed me for 385 dollars because it passed the 120 day to dispute with my bank just don't want to loose anymore please help to get answersBusiness response

These triggers are a pre order item as explicitly stated on the product description. We were told by the manufacturer that the product was delayed due to a quality control issue and is not expected to ship to us in the next two weeks. If the customer no longer wishes to wait, they can contact ************************ for a refund of the unshipped items.Customer response

It would have been nice to know when I tried to get a correspondence I only got concerned because there was no response If I'm out of line I apologize just trying not to get robbed like the other company did me and due to high volume I guess I can get no one other phone and the emails seemed dodgy thanks for the update just wish I did not have to go through these channels to get a responseInitial Complaint

Ordered on April 1st, item was in stock. Says order ships in **** days. Havnt received a shipping conformation. Under my account says processing, under shipments it says shipped, when I click on shipping it says no information is available. I emailed customer service twice with zero response. I am willing to take this to court, if not resolved.Business response

I am rejecting this response because:you are absolutley right i have contacted my bank, I absolutley didn't say I received a refund. they said it will take 45 to 90 days, going through them is going to take a lot longer then issuing the refund yourself (attatched proof from the bank saying it would take that long and that i have not been refunded). why don't you just refund the money yourself and I will cancel the claim? So how about doing the right thing here?

That's no problem at all. I have completed the refund on my end. Once a dispute has been entered with the bank the money is typically returned that day so we do not have action on our part. The funds will be posted to your account in the next 3 business days.Customer response

I placed an order with this company for some ammo. I was unable to log into my account so I called them and they took it over the phone. The next day I received and email from them claiming "An order was placed under your name and your account was charged. It is a policy here at Tactical Shit to verify it is not fraud." Which I felt was odd considering they had already charged my card. It appeared the person that took my info put the wrong zip code in the card account info but had it correct on the mailing info. I called asking them to correct it but was advised I have to send proof of address. I reluctantly send a picture of my drivers licence. They refused a refund rather advised me I'd get an in store credit. (which makes no sense considering they questioned fraud) That was 4-28 One 5-3-23 I emailed them asking if they'd gotten the info to which I received a tracking number. As of today 5-8-23 all the tracking number says is label printed. It also claims the package is 12 pounds which is really light. I tried calling today and get voice mail I see numerous complaints against this company all over the internet and at this point want a full refund ot the item I already paid for.Business response

At no point did the customer state he wanted a refund. He sent his ID to verify it was not fraud so the ammo was processed. The shipping label was created and the order was filled. We are currently waiting on a UPS pick up for delivery.Customer response

The customer emailed in on Tuesday, it can take up to 72 hours to receive a response as stated due to volume. The product lead times are clearly listed in bright red letters. It is 7-14 business days for shipping as indicated on the website.Customer response

#********* I placed an order in 2/5/23 with the money fully credited out of my account. The stated product had a 2 week lead time but it was “in stock”. I communicated with a customer service rep about the lack of my FFLs paper work being on file. I contacted said FFL who then sent in their documentation. This was on 2/10/23. As of today I have not received even a confirmation that my order was sent. Reading the similar experience listed here I feel like maybe I am one of those unfortunate experiences. What is confusing is the fact that my FFL popped up in their database but I had to still send it in. I would like either my order to be sent or a full refund.Business response

I paid Tactical Sh*t $336.38 on November 3rd 2022 for a "bang can bundle", this bundle includes "ten 12g blanks", a ** "bang can distraction device" and a plastic holster for the ** bang can. I only received the 12g blanks on November 8th. the packing slip inside the box was only for the 12g blanks, and a handwritten message on the slip stated that the rest of the items would ship at an unspecified later date. Then, on November 10th I emailed support inquiring about possible shipping times for the remaining items. I received a reply on November 15th from a support associate stating " I'll contact our shipping department and see what the hold up is". As of today, 11/19/22 I have not received a reply from their support and I have not received any shipping update on the remainder of my items, I have disputed the charge with my credit card provider. The 2021 excuse Tactical Sh*t has made of "supply chain issues" does not satisfy me, as the bundle I purchased was, and has been listed as "IN STOCK" on their webpage, and the bundle I ordered is not exceedingly rare or even in high demand for that matter.Business response

The rest of the bundle would have been shipping this week. The holsters are ************* and manufacturing is almost complete. The item CLEARLY states it is **** business days for the item to ship. His order date marks him at the 11th business day. Since a chargeback has been initiated we will cancel the rest of his order and he is responsible for the blanks and shipping.Customer response

The order was partially shipped due to a delay with the second part of the order as explained to the customer. We offered to reship the product which the customer stated he did not receive which was declined by the customer. A credit card dispute was put in place by the customer refunding the customer of their money and the proper department followed up with the credit card company completing the dispute so the customer received their money back.Customer response

It would've been real simple to just give me a complete refund as you know!
You didn't ship the produce & didn't even have the product.
Selling products you don't have is fraud!
You are a very scamming business.
You have a very bad reputation.
I should've definitely looked into this company's review's as being scammers & thief's!
I assure you I will advertise my first time experience to help save other's the scam.

As stated to the customer, once a dispute has been filed with the credit card company, a refund cannot be submitted on our end as it restarts the chargeback process and will charge the customer again. He informed us a dispute has been filed so his order was cancelled once a dispute was placed. He will need to contact the credit card company as we already paid them for the dispute. We offered to refund the customer before he placed a dispute and he stated he already disputed it with his credit card company.Customer response

After ordering an in stock item, the company charged my account right away. Their advertising says it will ship 5-7 days on in stock items. waiting 2 weeks I emailed asking when it would ship. It took another 2 emails for it to ship. After receiving my package and opening it, i found half the boxes of shotgun shells smashed open. But the shipping box was not damaged. Leading me to believe they packaged them this way. I left a poor google review. The owner then personally emailed me and attacked me because I left a poor review. It took almost a full month to receive my order.Business response
