      I'm approaching grad school again in the fall and wanted to brush up on my biostatistics and R programming. My tutor is incredible and the learning platform is awesome. All my tutorials are saved and notes are taken for me to review afterwards. Don't hesitate if you're thinking of using Varsity Tutors.

      I purchased a month to month option for my 5yr old son end of Feb. He has a test coming up in May and I wanted him prepared. Well his 1st session was Mar.1 2023.He was entitled to 8-1hr sessions. Every session their was an issue. We endured nearly 4hrs of many, many days of broken up sessions. 30mins here, 45 mins there, but mostly 30mins most sessions. But when I checked the acct, it would state 1hr sessions. But it was false and my son was not progressing, it wasn't engaging, it wasn't helping him. After having issue after issue with the connections to properly obtain a session without difficulty I had enough. His balance remained at cancelation was 4hrs 16min (which is now expired because VT didn't respond to in a timely manner) I requested 4hrs worth of my money back of $260. I paid $521 for a month (w/ military discount) and it's not worth it. They are telling me I am ineligible for a refund. We canceled officially on day 17 from the 1st start of the sessions on Mar.1, 2023. I made a call Mar.18, 2023 @7:25pm to express why I canceled. Well within 30days, 100% unsatisfactory and they told me on Apr.1, 2023, @ 2:30pm they will pass along my message and aren't sure of when I'll be contacted in regards to my refund request. I need that money for my son. He needs the help and now VT is preventing my sons education by keeping the money. My kindergarten is doesn't deserve this. It's not fair to him. I do not recommend.

      My daughter was apprehensive about starting tutoring until she was introduced to *******. ******* has been able to bond with and gain trust from my daughter during the first session! ******* is always very professional and helps my daughter to feel comfortable asking questions. I’m glad I found Varsity Tutors and was perfectly paired with *******! Thank you.

      Loving Varsity Tutors! My partner is making progress in ESL and our daughter is strengthening her reading! We also signed her up for piano and French classes because it was so convenient!

      After signing up with Varsity Tutors I canceled before the first tutoring session and within the first 7 days. The sales rep sold a number of things that just didn't happen and at nearly 500 per month that isn't ok.I spoke with a representative to cancel but he said no refund would be given. He assured me the account was canceled. I asked for a confirmation email but he said that could not be provided.I followed up to the help email and requested a cancelation in writing. That was a better outcome. A refund was issued. Two weeks later and again today I am being charged for the canceled service.I've disputed these charges on my credit card. Be aware of these practices.
