    Received a letter stating that my 'new car warranty' had expired (mileage less than 1500, two month from purchase date). I needed to contact them by a certain date to get my coverage up to date. I called the 800 number and was told by the sales shark (unfortunately I didn't get his name) that the dealer had sold me a less than adequate extended warranty and I needed to let them cancel it and sign me up with theirs for $4000+. I questioned him on the specifics since the letter didn't mention anything about cost etc. He proceeded to call me ***** and when I questioned him he stated it was just a term, I don't know him, why did he feel that was appropriate); at which point I ended the call and call the headquarters for my car and filed a complaint with them. The representative informed me that all my warranties were up to date and had not expired. If I could give them less than a 1 star I would. I also am frustrated as to how they acquired my information.

    I received the same letter and was suspicious because it sounded too good to be true. They were going to charge $1200 les than I had paid for a ****** mile warranty from the dealer and the dealer was forced to cancel my warranty with him and return my money. I looked on this BBB site and saw that all the reviews were 5s or 1s.The low reviews mainly said the same thing as this review, but a couple of them were about denied claims. I suspect that the glowing reviews were put in by Athena itself. Since they sent an extremely deceptive letter, I doubt that they would have scruples about writing fake reviews. I am taking the letter to my dealer to see what they say about this company.One good thing is that the rep I talked to at Athena was professional and well-spoken and did not get (very) angry when I said I would have to check out his company.

    I can honestly say that Im grateful to have my vehicle covered by Athena protection. Although this is just my second car, this is the first time Ive paid a warranty. And now that do, I cannot see myself being covered by any other protection corporation other than Athena. Today, ***** who was such a helpful representative to me demonstrated to me that Athena Protection really does has me covered. Thank you so much *****!

    I received a letter from this company indicating that my vehicle warranty had expired. It said that I hadn't contacted them regarding my vehicle service contract. It also said that by neglecting to activate my coverage I'm at risk for being financially liable for my vehicle repairs. Fact: my factory warranty doesn't expire until 2029. This mailing is nothing more than deceptive to get business, companies should not be allowed to mail these kinds of letters to consumers. Times are hard as it is and this type of mailing can attract the vulnerable. This company should stop this dishonest practice and the attorney general offices should be contacted because this goes against consumer protection.

    I am thankful for ****** and ****** conversations today , they listened to what I had to say and vise versa and we got to the bottom of what we needed too and I personally as a customer was so happy ! They honestly were too , and very caring thank you so much ! Team
