    This company was illegally soliciting and after the 8 PM hour without proper permits, and in violation of posted signs. A door to door idiot lied when I asked if he had a permit to solicit for ******************. Upon asking for proof, he inquired if I was law-enforcement. I volunteer to call them and he became defensive and began to walk away. At this time I did not even know who he worked for, and asked just to be told not to f****** worry about it. Thanks to my ring camera full record was captured.This is a formal request to actually learn the local ordinances in retrain your staff appropriately.

    I tried to cancel services with Ecoshield, but they claim I owe them $160 for trying to cancel some contract I was not aware of signing. I refuse to pay for a service I have not received!! I paid for every visit that they provided and quite frankly didn't see a difference in the amount of insects around my house. I am not happy with the service and I feel that I shouldn't have to pay to cancel. I do not owe them any money for services rendered. Now they're saying that they're going to send this to collections. Reading the other complaints here I can see that they employ fraudulent and predatory tactics to intimidate people into paying them for nothing. I wonder how many other people have just ******************* and paid rather than spoke up for their rights as consumers! They are a shady practice and need to be shut down.

    We are sorry to hear that the pest activity was not resolved. We offer free in between visits to customers who inform us that the bugs are not going away. We reviewed your account and did not find any feedback from you on the pest activity prior to the request to cancel in January. While we would have been happy to attempt to resolve these issues, we will honor your request to cancel. The $161 initial discount chargeback has been waived and the account is closed.

    Ecoshield door-to-door salesperson returned to our home multiple times and pressured us to sign a service agreement without adequately explaining cancellation penalties. Each service that was provided was unsatisfactory, and was conveyed to the application technician. The complaints and requests were ignored, even when blatantly pointed out to the tech while they were at my home. Due to the poor quality of service, I wished to cancel any remaining services, and was met with a cancellation charge that I feel is unfair. This clause in the agreement allows improper service to fester and provides a way for the company to provide inadequate services and still collect from unsatisfied customers.

    I signed a contract for quarterly service. Required for 1 year, with a 5 year option.After a year and a half I decided to move.I called and cancelled my contract, they requested proof of move, which i provided in the form of a bill to a different address.Ecoshield then proceeded to call me to obtain a cancellation fee. I have moved, the address i have moved to is not owned by me and i do not have authority for service there. I spoke with someone who said they would change my contract and i would be charged for 1 additional service. I reluctantly agreed as i did not see another option at the moment. Upon further thought, I called back to again cancel. I have no address in which service can be performed, have fulfilled my contract with 6 services. I have been told that the only option is to pay for another service. I am not paying to a service that i cannot get and there is no cause for a cancellation fee. I would like my account closed, no further action taken to attempt to collect a fee or perform a service and to no longer be contact from this company.
